Midnight howl
Christian's P.O.V
My surrounding blurred as my body was leaning towards a sink. I looked up to realize that I am at a party but more importantly I was in the bathroom. I jogged my head as I reminisce on how I got here. After awhile I left the bathroom only to meet up with Raven. "Hey have you seen Ava?." she asked in a high commanding and annoying voice. "Ah-hh no." I said rubbing the back of my head. "Well if you see her tell her Ravens looking for her." she told me as I simply nodded my head.
I could tell that her eyes were on my face as she stared at my tattoo on my left cheek until we both heard a door creaked "Hey who went into my room?" She yelled as she left to her room and I took that time to leave towards the living room where everyone was dancing to the music. After awhile of getting past the crowded people I reached the front door and opened it to some fresh air as I finally left the house. Well I was hoping to having a bit more sleep but seems like I can't always get my wish. I stretch out my entire body as I pop my arms all the way to my back which felt good. As I did I heard a ring come from my pocket as it seems I got a text. "Meet me at the woods near the mirror lake. tonight quest is to retrieve one of Cerberus kin. Be there at 10:30 p.m ,teach" OH great one of Cerberus kin that will be great. I rubbed my head as I walked towards the wood since I was near.
It took less than 10 minute to reach the lake. I sense another presence as I knew I was being watched. I abruptly stopped as I sighed then a chained scythe was sent flying at me in a blur but it was to slow and I caught it with my left hand. The chain started to pull but it was so weak in my opinion that it took me a moment to think of letting it go or pulling the person down. While I was thinking another one was sent flying at me but it ended in the same result. I finally decided on my move as I pulled on the chains and in a flash pulled my arm towards the lake as in seconds the person slammed straight into the lake. I let go of the chains as I tilt my head waiting for the person to make another move. My attacker got up started to shake off the water like a dog in which I yelled. "Bad doggie bad." In which the person dash towards me only to fail as I waved my hand to teach as we both had one legged up only for it to meet the face of my attacker.
As they fell I got a good looked at the person to realize it was one of teaches students. "Ashley I told you not to attack him. He is our back up." Teach said as she tilt her head.
"Nice to see you again teach." I told her as she simply waved at me.
"Why do we need this person to help us?" Ashley said in a low voice as he rise from the lake that he entered. We both chuckle as the bushes violently shook as a growl echoed. I started to chat while teach summoned blue flames from her left palms of her hand. Ashley back-flip towards us readying his scythes. Out came the beast with a roar as we all covered our faces from the shock-wave of it.
"I'm pretty sure someone pissed it off before I got here." I said as I looked at Ashley.
"Well we just go here the same time you did." teach told me.
The beast jumped towards us as it was going to try to pounce us and with Ashley in front. He stood as it looked like he was going to fight it head on. Both me and teach grabbed him by the shoulder and toss him behind us as the beast was over us. "Thunderic charge/ blazing lotus" both me and teach said as our elements clashed into the beast as it flew midair into the lake with a big splash.
"Ashley what did I said about keeping your warrior spirit in check." Teach said as I conjured a lighting whip. The beast was relentless as it charged towards us but it didn't hit any of us as it switch strategies and it tried to run away. My whip wrapped itself on to it's neck as I start to pull. I forgot that it was way stronger than me and as soon I realized it was to late and saw that teach just waved her hand as I was flung into the air as it dragged me along.
"I have a question master? how do you know this person and who is he." Ashley asked as Grimorous waved her hand to cast a magic circle only for it to disperse around her
"He is my oldest friend and my brother in arms." Grimorous said as she flew towards them and Ashley followed as wings pop out of his back.
Around Raven house the party was still going on as raven herself walked out the front door to stretch as her curves were showing in the moonlight. Raven looked to her left as she heard sounds of metal smashing. Out of the blue Christian flew straight at her. As they both open their eyes only to see that their lips have locked together. Christian slowly but quickly moved away from her only for her to grab his arm. "Y-you you bas-." before she could finish the door slammed open as Andy yelled "BASTERRRD!" He came charging at Christian and Raven to only trip as Raven tried to stand up only for the both of them to clash into each other. As everyone else came to see the commotion Christian simple walked back and out of that mess and ran to try to track down the beast. He caught up with Grimorous and Ashley as they were waiting. "Wheres the beast?" Christian asked.
As Grimorous shocked her head and told Christian. "It got away and fled in the shadows."
"Now what?" Ashley asked.
"We should see if we can find it once more at night. It doesn't hunt in the day so it should be fine. All we have to do is..." As Christian tried to finish his words he fell forward. Grimorous caught him and wrapped him in her cape as a glimpse of shatters light fly away from within Grimorous cape.
"Who is he, really?" Ashley asked once more.
Grimorous smiled. "He is someone who once broke a law to save many lives and now I must watch him as his punishment is carried out." Grimorous wrote a magic circle in midair and waved at Ashley as she disappear into the night.
".... Dammit I forgot to close up shop!" Ashley said as he ran into the darkness.
