When I hear your voice.

We get into town, my freind is rambling on about how some guy she bumped into didn't say sorry for spilling his coffee on her new outfit, but I wasn't really paying attention. I was more interested in why I heard BVB this morning when I didn't even set an alarm?

"MAY! HELLO?! EARTH TO MAAY?!?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at her, "huh? Sorry I uh got caught up in my head..sorry" she sighs and smiles, "it's cool. So why were you up so early this morning?" I think about an excuse, " I uhm forgot to turn off my alarm so by the time I had gotten up...i couldn't get back to sleep." she looks at me, "well don't forget next time yeah? I hate being woken so damn early, you know that" she sighs and we continue our conversation.

we visit a few small clothing shops and grab a snack at our favourite café, while we're waiting for our order I hear it again but this tine, an actual voice?! 'CC STOP DRINKING MONSTERS WERE TRYING TO PRACTICE!' what the hell?! I look around and I feel my friend tap my shoulder I spin around, "What?!" She looks at me, shocked "s-sorry. I thought I heard someone call me." I take my food and sit down. She looks at me, worried. "Are you..sure your ok?" I smile and nod. "Y-yeah it's just been a weird day is all..sorry I snapped at you." "Its ok"

we finish up our food and pay. We leave the café and she turns to me, " look, it's getting late. I think we should head home. I'll talk to you soon yeah?" Surprised by her standoffish attitude I agree. "uh yeah sure..guess I'll see you later..." She smiles and hurries of. ... What? No hug or anything..ok??

I get home and I hear my phone buzz. Its a text from my friend. ' hey.. sorry for rushing off like that, I just didn't feel well and couldn't stay out any longer. Hope you don't mind.' I reply after taking my shoes and all off. ' it's ok, you just surprised me but I understand. Hope it's not too bad. Xx' she doesn't respond to that. Must've fallen asleep.

i fiddle on my phone a bit before getting ready for bed. But before that, I turn some BVB on and lightly dance to the sound of Rebel love song. When suddenly I hear a 'Huh? Who the Fuck is blasting our Fucking music at 10 at night?!?' immediately I turn it off. "h-hello?" I say, unsure if it was my father or. .. "uh hi? Wait?!? Who are you?!' and suddenly I can't hear them anymore...damn!

I quickly get into my bed ware and leap into bed. I shut my eyes and I think 'goodnight universe' and somehow I hear that same voice reply 'goodnight' I smile and fall into a blissful sleep.
