On My Darkests of Days you were there

* Few months Later *
He pulled me close taking a long kiss from my lips.
" your the only one for me. " he whispers.
"Promise." I ask holding my stomach he kisses it.
" I promise both of you. "
I sit straight up covered in sweat. I am panting like crazy. I look around the room and down at my flat stomach... Why are theses memories haunting me?
I look over next me to me and Andy is sleeping Peacefully.
I need to shower. I can't stand being sweaty. As I start to get up i hear a voice.
" Gem are you ok?" Andy asks with his eyes open. Shit he wasn't actually sleeping.
" Yeah just a nightmare. " I say softly.
" Where are you going? " He asks standing up.
" Just to shower I'm kinda all sweaty. " I meekly smile.
" Let me come with you. " he smiles.
I hold my hand out and take his and walk to the bathroom.
I wonder how long until he finds out my past. What will he say?
We get to the bathroom and Andy helps me take off my oversized shirt and turns the shower on for me. He peels off his boxes and steps into the warm water. I step in after I tie up my hair. He pulls me close as the water rushes over us.
" Whats in that locked little box on the self over there??" He asks. I start the panic.
" Well...." I start to say he looks at me. " It has pills in it. Plan B pills and Pain medication. " I quickly look away.
" Why does Violet have the key? " he ask concerned.
" Because they are mine... I tried to OD once.. So she is in control of all my meds." I say looking down .
" Hey don't think that makes me love you less. " He said pulling my chin up. " It only makes me feel better knowing your not hiding things from me. "
He softly kissed my lips. Andy and I have been dating almost 4 months now. We had become so close. He knew everything.... well almost everything about me and he told me everything..
My stomach sank. I knew I needed to tell him.

" We have to go to some where today. " I told him as we washed our bodies.
" Where is that? " he asked.
" A dance school." I say softly.
" Why?" He askes.
" Its better I show you. " I say shutting off the water.
**** two hours later****
Andy finishes his cigarette and throws it out the window as we drive the dance school.
" Now you promise that no matter what you love me?" I ask him nervously.
" Of course Gem what kind of question is that?" He looked at me smiling.
" Just checking." I softly say as I park the car.
I grab my purse and get out of the car. Andy follows behind me.
I walk with him hand and hand through the halls of the building. We walk up to the blonde woman about in her late 30's
" Onyx it's so wonderful to see you." She says pulling me into a hug.
" Amanda it's good to see you too. " I say hugging back. " this is my boyfriend Andy"
She hugs him too.
" How is she?" I ask softly.
" Oh shes gotten so big. She's looking more like you everyday."Amanda gushes. Andy looks at me confused.
" Can we see her?" I ask pulling andy along as Amanda starts walking.
" Yes shes having her private lesson now so you can pop in behind the two way mirror as usual. " She said smiling. opening the door to the special room I know all too well.
" I'll leave you two alone. " She smiles shutting the door.
" Whats going on? " Andy asks a little concerned.
I point to the little girl in the room shes about 5 years old she has bright blue eyes and dark brown hair.
" That is Destiny. " I softly say with my voice trembling " Shes my daughter."

Andy takes a step back.
" Andy please. I gave her up when I was 16 to Amanda and her husband. She has no idea about me at all. I just asked when I gave her up if I could see her once in a while." I say tears falling down my face as i put a hand on the window.
" I couldn't keep her with the memory of what her father did to me. I told you about the boy who broke my heart and knocked up my cousin. Well hes her father. I couldn't deal with the pain. I delivered her a month early. I gave her up that day. I never looked back. "
Andy looked utterly betrayed.
" Why did you wait so long to tell me?" He asked demandingly
" I wanted to forget.. The last time I saw her she was 3 months old. " I said reaching for him.
" I had planned on telling you but I got scared. What if you thought I was a horrible person? I couldn't bare that thought. " I said turning away staring at Destiny as she dance. She was so graceful. She really did look like me.
" How could you ever think I would feel that way?" He said pulling me close.

Andy POV

I couldn't bare seeing her cry. Yes she hid this from me but I could tell it was out of fear. She did what was best for her and that little girl.
" I've told you repeatedly Gem. You are not your past. " I softly said pulling her lips to mine.
I just wanted to take all her burdens from her.
" Oh Andy." she sobbed into my chest after our kiss broke.
We sat and watched Destiny dance for 20 minutes.
" We need to leave before she sees us. " Onyx whispered pulling me out of the room with her.
" Thank you so much for coming to see her. " Amanda smiled hugging me. " Thank you for having her come see her daughter." she whispered in my ear.
" Your welcome. " I replied.
Onyx seemed to just want to leave. She practically pulled me off my feet out the door.

POV Onyx

I just want to get of here. My heart is beating out of my chest and I can't breathe. I need to get out.
We finally get outside and I run to the bushes and puke.
" Gem..." he softly called to me.
" I just want to forget Andy ok. You know now.. So lets just forget ok. " I beg him and i pull him close.


That is whats best forgetting.
