I Wanna Help
"Ray Ray do you love your uncle Ashley?" Ashley cooed at Raven.
I smiled Ashley instantly bonded to her.
"Hello its time to feed her for the first time." The nurse came in.
" Alright Everyone but the Mommy and Auntie out." Scarlett smiled.
" No this is Mommy and Baby time only. This is a bonding moment." The nurse shooed everyone out.
" Like this and let her latch on. " the nurse showed me how hold to let her feed.
" Now I'll leave you to alone." She opened the door. I heard her say.
" Give them four minutes alone." to everyone. I look down and smile at my baby eating. I grab a blanket and cover me up just before the door opens.
" Hey you." In walks Mama Raven.
"Hi Mama Raven." I half smiled at her.
" I heard my little granddaughter was born. I wanted to come see her and talk about what happened between Shadow and you."
" Mama he was cheating on me. I made him sign away his rights to Raven he didn't care about he never called to see how her ultrasounds looked never asked about her at all. He has no love in his heart. I will not let him hurt my baby. " I sternly stated.
" Im sorry about that I thought I raised him better." She said looking away from me.
I pull my shirt up and then slowly hand Raven over to Mama Raven.
" Oh hello there little one." she held Ray for about a half hour and we talked about the birth. When she finally left CC poked his head in.
" Hey may I hold her? Everyone went home to shower." He said stepping into the room and shutting the door.
"Of course." I hand her to CC.
He sits on the end of the bed cooing at her. Then a few minutes later he looked up at me. "Luna?" He said softly
"Yes ?" I smiled at him.. He looked so natural holding my baby.
" I wanna be Rays Father if you let me. I wanna be a part of her life forever. I know we've only been together a month but I love her as if she were my own. I've never missed a doctors appointment of hers and yours . I just love her so much. I want to be her Protector." He said softly as he rocked her in his arms.
" Oh CC. Could you be anymore perfect. Of Course you can be her father. I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather have more. " I smiled brightly
" I promise I'll never hurt either of you." He smiled kissing my hand then Ravens forehead.
