Nightfall came quickly, and for Victoria that meant she would soon be receiving invitations to go out. Oh yes, even princesses are able to enjoy the night life. Robert never really minded tagging along to keep an eye on her (not that either of them had a choice), he more so minded hands-y young men and seeing the princess intoxicated.

But given the light of recent events, not only did she have no desire to go out, but she highly doubted that Robert would allow her to leave the palace. She was a target for all he knew. Victoria sighed as she fell back into her bed and stared at the high ceilings of her bed room, her brain replaying her day over and over again like a broken record. Particularly the bit where she welled up in tears while addressing the public regarding her father. All she could remember was the cries of her people, mourning out loud what she felt inside.

Victoria shuddered and rolled over into her stomach before covering her head with a large, fluffy pillow. She had to be dreaming. This couldn't really be happening, she felt her eyes begin to fill with tears again.

A soft knock at the door caused her to sigh, thoroughly at a loss for energy or patience to speak with anyone else.

"Tori, it's Nadia." A comforting voice came from the other side of the door.

Victoria sat up in her bed and wiped her tears away as she walked briskly towards her door, opening it for her best friend.

"Oh honey." Nadia reached for the princess and embraced her tightly, Robert kindly reaching over and shutting her door to give them privacy.

And for the first time since the incident, Victoria wailed.

"Let it out, Tori. I'm so sorry this is all happening." Nadia embraced the redhead a little tighter as she sobbed into her pristine white blouse, potentially ruining the fabric.

Nadia and Victoria had been friends for as long as either one of them could remember. Nadia was the daughter of a former security detail that spotted several members of the family over the years. He frequently brought Nadia to work, who had become Victoria's very first friend and her closest friend to date.

Minutes pass as Victoria's sobs turned into sniffles and her doe eyes were bloodshot once again. Nadia was incredibly patient, offering silence and comfort without judgement as her friend needed.

"Your mum seems to be in pretty rough condition. I went by her room to say hi and pay my respects and she was screaming on the phone and crying. I'm not sure she's ready to rule on her own either, Tori." Nadia frowned as she took her friend's hand and held it in her lap.

"She's always been good about hiding her emotions in public, hasn't she?" Victoria's voice was hoarse, her crying had dehydrated her. Her mother was always one to maintain a calm and collected persons on the surface, regardless what was brewing beneath. And she always overly concerned about how the public perceived her.

"Tori, let me take you out tonight. I think the distraction would really benefit you right now." Nadia smiled hopefully, although she was already predicting a rejection.

"That would be inappropriate." Victoria frowned in disapproval. "Could you imagine what the people would think? Seeing their princess out partying just days after her father was killed?"

"You sound like your mum."

Victoria grimaced at this. She was right.

"It's not safe..." the princess pressed.

"Victoria, you have a body guard with a gun and a federal clearance." Nadia frowned at her friend, clearly not buying any of her excuses.

"What if I'm scared?"

"You can't live in fear for the rest of your days, babe..."

Again, she was completely right. Victoria let out a defeated sigh and stood from her seat on the plush charcoal couch in her room, which Nadia had coaxed her over to while she was crying.

"Look, I don't think Robert is gonna agree with any of this, which I fully support, but you may need to convince him a bit more than you do me." Victoria gestured her friend towards the door, egging her on to take the matter up with her body guard.

"Piece of cake." The pretty brunette smirked before strutting over to the door and swinging it open. "Robby!" She exclaimed before shutting the door nearly all the way behind her. Victoria folded her arms and listened carefully, tucking her hair behind her ear.

"Listen, Victoria has had a rough week. And-"

"No." Robert's voice was firm.

"Well if you'd let me get to my point I think you would-"

"No."

"You're not even letting me-"

"No."

"She isn't a child anymore, Robert! Neither of us are! Let her do something else other than sulk around here and cry!"

Victoria held her breath, her lips parting in shock. She'd never spoken to Robert that way. Playful banter was one thing, but Nadia was certainly pushing his patience quite a bit.

"I want her home before sunrise, Nadia." Robert's voice sent a shiver up her spine. "And don't think I won't be watching. I always am."

"You have my word. Thank you, Rob."

Victoria gulped as Nadia reappeared in her door frame, letting herself back into her bedroom and closing the door behind her.

"Piece of cake, just like I said." She gave her friend a half-smile.

"I still don't know that I wanna go out, Nadia." Victoria frowned.

"Look, it'll be really low profile. There's a small show going on in a couple of hours. Just some music and a couple of drinks. It's a small gig." The brunette promised with hopeful eyes.

Down the hall, Victoria could hear her mother shouting at a chamber maid to bring her a couple Xanax and some more tissues.

"I'm in."

--------------------

"Juliet, I honestly don't care what you do with the furniture. I took all of my shit already. You can handle the rest, you're a big girl." Andy was 3 pints of Guinness in, slurring his words just slightly as his wife barked into the phone.

"It's your shit too, Andrew. I'm trying to be cordial!"

Yanni chuckled at this, shaking his head as he pulled a stick of gum from the pocket of his jacket and unwrapping it before popping it into his mouth, then proceeded to wave down the bar tender.

Andy had learned her name was Amelia. Amelia with the dragonfly tattoo.

It's like he couldn't catch a break.

"Yeah well, you weren't being too cordial when you fucked three different men in our bed, Juliet." His voice was saturated with venom.

Juliet went silent.

"That's what I fuckin' thought." Andy scoffed before hanging up on her, gripping his phone in his hand as he stared off into space.

"We gotta get going man, let's sober you up a little before your show tonight." Yanni gave the musician a firm pat on the back before pulling his wallet out, offering to pick up the tab.

Andy raked his long fingers through his hair after thanking his body guard and turned to address Amelia.

"Sorry if we were too much trouble. Hope you have a good night." Andy reached into his back pocket and handed the bartender a generous tip.

"Thanks, guys. Have a good night." Amelia smiled appreciatively and watched as the two men left the bar.

The sun had set already and the street lights had come on, Andy noticed Yanni puff up a bit and walk a bit closer to him. The London night life was alive and noisy, a line already wrapping around the side KOKO, the venue that Andy was performing later that evening.

Tonight was the last night of tour, and Andy was somewhat dreading heading back to California. Technically he was homeless, and planned to get a hotel once he was back on Los Angeles soil. The weeks leading up to the tour, he crashed with Ashley. But as cliché as it was, Andy was getting absolutely no sleep at his apartment, seeing as Ashley brought home women nightly.

"I'm thinking about staying here for a while after tonight." Andy had mentioned to his security detail as they neared his bus again. "I don't expect you to stay, but I don't think I'm ready to go back to L.A just yet."

"Is that an offer?" Yanni chuckled and followed Andy into the bus.

"I know you got your girl back home, I just don't want you to feel like you're just someone that works for me. It's up to you, brother. I'm gonna rinse off real quick." Andy pulled his leather jacket off and set it down before headed towards the back of the bus where the shower was at and closed the door behind him.

A quick cold shower had sobered the tattooed man up a bit and left him feeling somewhat refreshed. He felt a sense of freedom almost, forgetting what it was like to not have commitments back home after tour. He dried off his dark locks and reapplied deodorant before leaving the bathroom to dress himself in the privacy in the room in the back of the bus. He opted in for his usual black jeans and distressed tank top, leaving his boots for last after he layered his necklaces back on.

"45 minutes, man!" Yanni called out, reminding Andy how much time he had before final call.

Andy returned to the bathroom to give himself a look over and tousling his hair a couple of times before he had decided he was ready.

"You have a quick sound check and then you have an interview with Kerrang." Yanni filled him in as they departed the tour bus for a second time that evening, and walked into the back of the venue, the sounds of the stage coming to life.

Andy was handed an ear piece and a mic by a tech as he gazed out at the currently empty venue. He could hear the rumble of talking and laughter outside of the doors.

"Hey, you've got a couple of occupies in the green room. I'll go find out what's going on." Yanni gave his shoulder a firm pat before departing from the side stage.

--------------------

Victoria fidgeted with the zipper of her leather jacket as she stared off into space, not even noticing Nadia had been offering her a drink.

"Earth to space princess."

Victoria's head snapped up, feeling flustered as she took the glass from her friend.

"Sorry, I'm just thinking." Victoria sighed as she stirred her drink before taking a sip out of the thin red straw. The dark liquor warmed her throat.

"No thinking allowed tonight." Nadia smirked as she sat down on the leather couch beside the redhead.

There was a knock at the door.

"Your Highness, you have a visitor." Robert spoke from the other side of the door before propping it open.

A rather intimidating and muscular man appeared on the other side of the doors, clearly confused.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you, ladies. But this room is reserved for the performers. I'm sure the venue owner will be happy to relocate you." his voice was authoritative, Victoria frowned as she stood.

"We can move you to the balconies, Your Highness." Robert stepped up closely behind the large man, beckoning Victoria and Nadia over.

Nadia stood with Victoria and followed her out closely behind, then proceeded to be escorted by Robert up to the private balcony above the stage.

--------------------

A large crowd had come out to KOKO this evening to see Andy, hundreds of fans piled together in the micro-sized venue decked out in Black Veil Brides and Andy Black merchandise. Andy was in the middle of speaking to the crowd and taking a much needed chug of his water, noticing a pair of girls up on the balcony as he tipped his head back to drink. A smirk formed on his face as the redhead on the left made direct eye contact with him, she was a looker for sure. He gave her a wink, her brunette friend on the right giggling and leaning over to whisper to her.

A man in a suite was accompanying them, his hand on the redhead's shoulder as he narrowed his eyes at Andy. With that, Andy brought his attention to the crowd and introduced his final song of the evening.

"This one's called Louder Than Your Love."
