The First Daughter

Chapter One

Fifteen years ago

"And so, the Prince came to her rescue and they lived happily ever after. The end." The blonde little girl looked up at her mother and smiled brightly. "What is it Maddie, what is that smile for?" She asked her.

Maddie shook her blonde locks and giggled. "Will i ever meet my prince charming, mommy?"

Her mother smiled a gentle smile, touching the tip of her nose. "When you are older, you will find your prince charming, and hopefully you will already live in your own castle, hopefully it will be white with the greenest lawn you can imagine."

"And mommy and daddy will live there as well, and i will have my prince charming. We will play on the lawn." The little girl giggled.

The mother stood up, nodding and tucking her sweet princess in bed. "Good night, sweet dreams my little girl."

With her teddy bear all cuddled up, the little girl closed her eyes and dreamed a dream about the greenest lawn you can imagine and the White Castle. Knowing that one day, like Cindrella, she will find her prince.

Present day.

Slowly i came down the stairs, all eyes were once again on me. This is what my life is now... People staring at me, secretly judging what i wear, or if i am wearing my hair right... Once upon a time i dreamed of the greenest lawn and a white castle with my prince charming, i got the lawn and the white house, but not my prince charming. "You look amazing," My father gently placed one hand on my back and smiled, once again, smiling. My face hurt and it was only seven pm. "Happy birthday Madison,"

"Thank you," I nodded like a 'royal' should. The birthday wishes was over fifty as far as i could count, and tables of presents were on it, yet my birthday wish did not come true. "I gave you time to think, daddy. Can i go?"

Like any father, they had a look of approval and disapproval. At that moment, both was written on his face. My heart shattered knowing what the answer will be. "You are the first daughter." So i have heard so many times before, "You can't be spotted at a rock concert, with all those bodies next to you."

"It is not like i agree to go in an orgy, father." I said rather sternly, which my father brushed off with a smile and a handshake to the secretary of state. "I don't ask for much, i am eighteen. Soon i will be going off the college."

"I still say Georgetown is right around the corner, free laundry. You can come home any time you please,"

"With you calling and me only being accepted by my and your title. I got into Stanford, dad. i am going. You should be glad i still ask permission. This is a once and a life time opportunity. I have bee listening to Black Veil Brides since i could remember, even Barker likes them," I said, mentioning the head of my secret service, hoping that could ease my father to let me go. With one look, i knew there and then that my birthday wish had been denied, and went into the shredder. With my head held up high, he smiled and left him alone with my mother who didn't say anything.

The party was in full swing, and yet the people here was thirty or more. I was the only teenager here. I excused myself after dinner, and went back up to my room, wanting to cry, and to be honest with myself, throw a tantrum.

I looked at my poster of Andy Biersack before looking at myself, how would a man like that be into a girl in a puffy white gown that made like like a pie. Their concert is tonight, i already got tickets... How the hell am i supposed to escape the fucking white house?
