Daddy Material

I get out of the shower, wrapping the towel around me tightly before stepping out into my room, where Andy was waiting for me to my surprise. "Haydn!" He said jumping up and covering his eyes while turning his back to me. "Sorry, I thought you were getting dressed in the bathroom." He said softly. "Its fine, what did you need?" I ask grabbing some clothes while going to the bathroom to get dressed. "We're going out to lunch with some of the guys sweetie, so get ready and wear something warm, its a bit chilly out today." He said softly.
I nod and get dressed, pulling on some skinny jeans and a band shirt, along with a thick cable knit cardigan. "Okay, be right out." I blow dry my hair and brush my teeth, going to pull on socks and shoes. Andy looks over my outfit and nods gently. "Nice, I don't want you getting sick." He said softly, though I knew that he was protective and didn't even like when Ashley fake flirted with me.
I nod smiling. "Ready to go?" He asked softly, he already had his clothes on and his hoodie. I nod smiling and walk out with him, going to the car after locking up the house.
"So where we going for lunch?" I ask smiling softly as I buckle up. "Noodles & Company. Pretty good weather for it." Andy laughs softly. "Plus I know its your favorite." He said smiling. "Yay!" I laugh softly and check my phone for emails. Andy laughs and shakes his head driving to one of my favorite lunch spots. Once there, I get out and walk inside with him. The guys were already sitting at a table waiting. Andy and I go and sit down where we were all given menus to look at. Soon, everyone had ordered. Ash got the Spicy Chipotle Adobo, Jake picked out Thai Green Curry with shrimp, Jinxx choose the Pasta Fresca as did CC, while Andy chose the Japanese Pan Noodles with me and we got potstickers to share.
"So Haydn, what do you have planned for this weekend?" Ashley asked sipping on his drink softly. Andy glanced up, already listening to what was going on. "Nothing really." I said softly stirring my drink with my straw. "Well it's supposed to get warmer this weekend, we were all planning to go to the beach, Andy said yeah, what about you?" He asked smiling. I nod smiling, "Sure, that's if its okay with you dad?" I ask softly looking at him. He nods smiling gently, "Sure princess I don't mind." I raise my eyebrow, he never called me princess before, but I really liked it for some reason, it felt nice, made me feel special. After that, we continue to talk about plans and band stuff until our food came, during that time, we all chowed down and everything was quiet.
"So do you have a swim suit or do we need to get you one?" CC asked chuckling softly. I laugh gently. "I have one. Dad bought it for me last year for the pool." I said smiling and continue to eat my food. They nod and I couldn't help but notice how close Andy was to me, like he was super close and was acting protective every time one of the guys says something that might come off as flirting or inappropriate. After eating, we all go out for soft serve and then go back to our house to chill out for a bit. I went upstairs, going to fish out the black one piece swim suit, humming softly.
"You know I can get you a new one if you want sweetheart." Andy's deep voice came from the doorway. I turn and smile softly. "No, it's okay dad, would be kinda wasteful, I have this one right here." I hold up the suit smiling. Andy gets closer and closes the door some gently, "You know sweetheart, I've been thinking I would like to be called Daddy instead. It feels better." He said softly. I blush and smile gently. "Okay.." Andy smiles softly, "You've grown up so much lately sweetheart, I just want to keep you around a little longer, being my princess." He said softly stroking my hair. I blush harder and bite my lip. "I'm not going anywhere Daddy, I'm staying around for a while." I assure him smiling. Andy nods gently and watches me for a bit before he's called back downstairs and leaves humming softly.
I watch him as he does so, biting my lip. What was going on? He was acting strange.
