Soulmate AU (Andley)

-Still Ashley's P.O.V-

I was sitting on my couch my laptop sat on my lap as I opened the browser and typed 'Soulmater' I can't believe I was actually doing this. This doesn't make me look desperate does it? No, a lot of other people sign up that are struggling to find their mate. I click the top link and hover my mouse on the 'sign up' button. Why I'm I hesitating?, I want this don't I?
When I was about to make up a decision my house phone went off. I place my laptop beside me and got up, wonder who was calling at this time. I picked it up. "Hello, Ashley Purdy here"
"Ash hey its Jake" my best friend spoke through the other end. I smiled hearing his voice and leaned against the wall.
"Jake, what's up?" I responded, Jake was in the same situation as me, he didn't have a soulmate yet. His letter was a C on his arm and his tattoo was to do with drums and marked on his back. What I think is awesome is that were all linked to rock n roll, my girl can sing, his soul mate plays drums, I can play bass and Jake can play guitar as well, its like...destined and it was pretty exciting.
"Can I come over?... There's something I gotta tell you?" He asked like it was something important. I looked back at my laptop and just shrugged, I have plenty of time to do it and I didn't feel up to trusting a site so I told him it was fine. I'm just curious on what was so important, I didn't have a problem with him visiting, its different since I mostly had chicks up, it was good to have some guy company then and now. He said thanks and hung up, placing my phone down I walked over to my laptop and clicked off the tab before shutting it down. I'll just wait.
-Andy's P.O.V-
"Shh its alright C...its okay, just don't listen to what she said or think about what she did, your feelings where wrong but you'll find your mate soon, I know you will",
Well today didn't go as well, I was comforting CC in his home, he wasn't his self today when we went into that cafe...let me tell you about it
Back at the cafe
Once we entered the cafe me and CC took a seat up at the back, he was looking around the place with a hopeful smile on his lips. I could tell he was excited, he felt his soulmate here but...the thing was, everyone was in couples here, only a few were alone and had different tattoos visible and some had different letters. Maybe its one of the workers? "I'm going to grab coffee and a sandwich, want the same?" I asked. He just nodded still looking around, I felt disappointed almost like, his mate wasn't here, sometimes feelings could get the better of us and CC's been waiting longer than me. I pushed that thought away and stood up walking towards the counter giving the woman the order. She told me to wait so I did just that.
Looking back at CC he was talking to someone? It was a girl, oh man this might be it!, I smiled brightly as the woman came back and passed me the tray with mine and CC's order. I gave a quick thanks and paid before heading to the table where CC was cracking jokes and the girl was giggling. "So CC who's this?", I asked obviously speaking about the girl.
"Oh Ands meet Jaiden" CC introduced her. I held out my hand for her to shake when I seen she had the letter C on her arm. This could be good
"Well lovely to meet you Jaiden I'm Andy pleasure to meet you" I spoke, she smiled and shook my hand, she had long brown hair and green eyes, I'm just hoping this is CC's mate
"Nice to meet you too and is it okay if I steal CC for a bit? Thaaaanks", she chirped sitting down on my seat. I just blinked and looked at CC who was surprised himself, he looked at me with a worried expression but I reassured him it was fine and gave him his stuff and went to sit at another table to do my own thing. I would admit that was rude but whatever, CC looked very happy and that's all that mattered.
I sat there for a while after my phone alarm buzzed telling me it was time to get back for work. I stood up to tell CC when suddenly there was a loud noise like someone hit the table and seen it was from CC's and Jaiden's table. Jaiden was stood up her hands upon the table a angry expression wrote on her face as CC looked...upset. What Jaiden did was just uncalled for, she took the cup she was drinking from and emptied it on CC's head before calling him a fag and storming out the cafe. Everyone was completely stunned as well as I was and CC just got up and ran off.

CC still went to work but he was defiantly not the same, he still smelled like a caramel mocha and his hair was all wet from it. He didn't say anything though, he didn't go home when the boss said he could, I know he was wanting to just cry, after that situation I know I would. This wasn't the CC we all knew, the spark was gone and he was just broken. I insisted on driving him home and that's when he broke down. So I was stuck comforting him. Not like I was complaining, I was always here for him he was like the only friend I have, including Crow. I waited until CC had calm downed and asked "CC what happened?" I was just curious on how a girl could snap like that. He sniffed and wiped his eyes
"Well...when you went off to a different table, I thought I was sure she was the one but then I remembered anyone could have the letter C, I asked her...what tattoo she had and it didn't represent me at all, she had a football design, she went ahead and ranted saying she thought I was the one because we both hadn't yet found our soulmates and for some reason I just didn't feel attracted to her, nor something close, so she made an expiation that I was gay, started mocking me and then I told her to please go away and that's when she snapped... Andy this isn't the first time it's happened" He started to cry again and hid his face. Wait so this type of thing happened before with CC? Geez...poor guy, I really do feel bad for him.
This sort of thing was rare in some cases, I just hope it doesn't end up tearing him apart, CC doesn't deserve that at all...no one does.
