Legion Of The Black: Reviving The Hope

I ran up the hill as they chased me then i ran to a fallen tree and jumped through the branches and landed on the other side perfectly then jumped the finish gate. I laughed as they caught up then held their legs and i was just slightly out of breath.

"I win, again." I said and they flipped me off.

"How do you run so fast, Amanda?" I shrugged then heard a howl and looked to where it came from but it was just a wolf. More and more have been seen since i lost control the day i officially met Ashley. Speaking of him, we haven't talked about the kiss but we ignore each other now. And i'm a Wild One! Yeah, they made me Amanda, the Protector.

"What is it?"

"Just a wolf." I whispered to Ash then went wolf and ran back to the camp with them not too far behind me. I smelled a Shadow and ran towards it full speed then jumped on it and ripped its head off then kept running. I got to my house in the camp and went back to myself and grabbed a water when Cc came in and laughed.

"Okay, it's been a year but you and Ashley haven't gotten any closer. What's up?"

"Nothing, why?"

"Amanda, i've known you the longest. What's up?"

"The day i lost control on him, he kissed me."

"That's great! But, what's wrong?"

"He refuses to talk about it. I tried to in the first month after it happened but he kept saying he was busy or we'd talk later but we never did." I said and sat on the counter next to where he stood.

"Then talk to him about it now."

"Have we found Fear yet?" The day Ashley kissed me, Fear got away and is rumored to be rebuilding his army but we haven't been able to find him yet.

"No, not yet. And stop changing the subject."

"I'm not." I said and we went to the Wild Ones hall where the others were over a map.

"Anything?"

"A bunch of Shadows have been seen in what used to be downtown LA."

"That's not far from here."

"It's too close for my comfort." I said and glanced at Ashley but he was looking at the map. I looked at Cc and he subtly motioned his head to Ashley and i glared.

"Ashley, can we talk?"

"Later, Amanda."

"No. No more later or another time. Now, Ashley." I growled and no one moved as they watched him for his reaction.

"Amanda, now is not the time to-"

"THEN WHEN?! I'VE GIVEN YOU A YEAR BUT I'M DONE! I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY THE HELL YOU KISSED ME THEN FUCKING IGNORE ME!" I yell and he looked down as the other four stared in shock.

"I'm not talking about this here."

"I gave you the chance to talk about this somewhere else but you didn't take it. I'm going for a run."

"Amanda-"

"Cc, i'll be back later." I went wolf and ran out with tears in my eyes then ran to the old Eve Black room and laid on her bed as i went human. I cried my eyes out then heard a crunch of feet outside and i shot up then looked as Ashley slowly walked in. I stared at him but he went over to the mirror that was broken and looked in it.

"Its sad that this is how i look. Shattered, broken, useless." I slowly stood and flipped the mirror then looked at him.

"You aren't shattered or broken or useless. You're the most amazing man i've ever met and that's saying something because i've met a lot of men in my time." I whispered and he smiled then faced me and sighed.

"Amanda, the day i kissed you, it was because i needed to tell you how i felt but i was scared to do anything afterwards. I wish i had but i didn't and i regret it. That's my biggest regret. Not doing anything but ignoring you after i kissed you." I smiled and pulled him down then kissed him and he held me close. When we got back to the camp, he stayed near me and we went back to the hall where the others were.

"Settle things?" I growled at Andy and he smirked then i kicked his ass and he jerked forward.

"I settled that." I smirked and sat on the bench as they looked over the map.
