From Within Secrets

*Jake's POV*

It's been a few months and we were all hanging out. I was holding Ella in my arms and smiling. Yeah, Jinxx and I finally found someone to love. Though it didn't go well with Aiden at first but Ella and Alice put him in his place and fast too. It's just they didn't really know our story. I told Ella that I would tell her about it later. So that what we were going to do tonight. Jinxx, me and the girls were going to go out on a date and we had this nice thing picked out. It was time to tell them about what happen to us. All vampire's had their story and they knew this. Andy and the others were going to go out partying anyways. So it would give us all a good time alone with our girls. Jamie, Nick and Andy all told us flat out 'you bite them and I'll rip out your fangs'. I mean they would grow back but having your fangs ripped out is really painful and you can't drink. Meaning we would be locked up in our rooms until we were okay.

"Hey, we will see you guys at home, we're going to head out." Jinxx smiled at all of them and I could see Andy giving us both that look that told us to watch ourselves before just turning away from us.

"Just be careful you two and stay away from that club or any of the other places they hang out at. I don't want you two getting in that mess, with 300 people missing in this town, don't add to that." Andy had a right to worry, more and more people went missing. 300 went missing last month, vampires, half breeds and humans. It was the total of 2000 missing people. So yeah we all had to be check in on because they knew it was vampires doing it. People pointed fingers at us so they were all trying to blame us. It's good that Aiden got them to stop but it didn't stop them from still blaming us.

"Don't worry we will be fine man, it's just going to be us four and we aren't even going into town, we were thinking about maybe something away from other people." I smirked and took Ella's hand as we all go into Jinxx's car. "I really don't like that Andy is worked up with people blaming us, if he acts on it then they are going to keep it up."

"Don't worry about it, we know we aren't the bad guys, we are just the vamps that no one knows and because of that we are to blame. At least we have people to stick up for us." He smiled at Alice and drove to this spot in the woods. With being friends with Kanno's, we were allow on their land as long as it wasn't near their house. So we thought their land would be the best place to take the girls.

"So we pack some food for us and a blanket and all that. Are you guys sure you're ready to tell us about what you want to?" Alice was worry, she knows that it was bad what happen to us. Though I remember it, I was the first one, then it was Jinxx, I was there when Nelson turned him.

"You girls been wanting to know the story and we feel like we should tell you our story together. Jake and I were turn by the same vampire. We were almost killed by that vampire too. If the hunters didn't get to him first." We got to the clearing and started setting things up. Jinxx lay on the one blanket only to have Alice lay on his chest and cuddle up to him.

I lay down on the other blanket and Ella just cling to me and I sighed a bit. "Well since we have all night to ourselves, what happen to us is I was turned first. It started back in Cali when I moved there looking to be in a band. It was a cold night, it's weird to have a cold night in LA, but I never knew what was waiting for me when I thought to take a short cut home." I sighed and went back to my memories about what happen in Cali, why we didn't live there anymore.

*Flash Back*

"Hey Jake, I think we found a band for once, there is this guy that is looking for members and he needs giutar players, a bass player and drummer. We should really go look into it. He lives here in LA and he's younger then us, but a lead singer. Maybe we should check it out." Jinxx smiled and I looked at the ad he was looking at. The kid's name was Andy and he was still a young kid.

"We have to look into it, I should get home to my dogs, they are probably freaking out because they want it to storm tonight. I wish this weather wasn't so crazy." I looked outside his window and frown, there was a really dark cloud over where my house was, I didn't fucking bring my car either. "Nice day to leave my car home."

"Well I could always take you home if you want. I mean we are brothers and that's what we do for each other." He just smiled and I shook my head, he just broken up with his girlfriend and needed a friend, it's the only reason why I was over in the first place. Friends stick together no more what.

"I don't need a ride home, I'll just walk fast, hope to beat the rain and if I don't then I'll just get a shower. I'll call you later or you can call me. See ya man." I walked out of the house and started walking home. I had a feeling I would get stuck in the rain, because the wind was picking up more and more. Great, the dogs aren't going to let me sleep.

As I walked, I looked at my phone to see that it was 1 am in the morning. The wind was getting worse and I could feel it starting to rain. Great, I wasn't even close to my house yet. I needed to take a short cut home. I felt like I was being watched as I walked into the alley that lead to the street my apartment was on. The feeling of being watch was even stronger and I heard foot steps behind me. I didn't want whoever was following me to think I knew they were there. I kept walking until it just started raining like hell, I'm talking about downpour! I started running toward my house, forgetting about the person I thought was following me. I had to leave my fucking car at home.

As I was at my door, I was soak from the rain and my dogs were freaking out, they ran to me and jumping on me. I just walked to the bathroom, I needed a shower and get in dry cloths, I was really stupid for thinking it would be okay to walk to Jinxx's for that day. I knew the storm was coming but my friend needed me more. I walked back into what is to be my living room but I turned into a bedroom, the bedroom ended up being my personal studio and just shut it and then locking the door. Being home I felt safe, I turn on all the lighs and just walked to the studio, my dogs following me. I was working on some music, different riffs and just playing with my guitars. It was about 3 in the morning before I realized that I needed to get some sleep. I went to bed that night, without known the danger that waited for me to fall asleep.

It was really early in the morning, maybe 5 or 6, I know it was around the time that no one was awake yet. I was woke up to the dogs crying but then something dropping on the floor. I didn't hear the dogs anymore and something told me that I wasn't in the aparment alone, and something happen to my dogs, my kids. I went to reach for the lights and then I heard laughing.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you, I mean it's going to freak you out more on what is about to happen. Maybe keeping the lights off will be best for you." The guy laugh and I could tell there was something really off about him. I went to sit up and move away but was pushed back. "Now, now, I hate when my food runs, I really hate it. Just act like a guy and not run." He laughed more as I punched him in the face for being a creep. "I really don't know why you gifted humans are so hard to deal with."

"Gifted Humans?" I didn't mean for it to come out loud but I didn't believe what I was hearing.
"Humans that can be turn into a vampire and have gifts. You're one of them, I can tell just by the sense of you blood that you would be really useful." He laughed more and then it hit me, this was a fucking vampire and I needed to make a run for it. And it also hit me that both my kids weren't alive anymore.

"You fucking killed my dogs!" I moved to hit him but I couldn't find him from it being dark. " I should fucking kill you and I'm not useful, I'm just a guy trying to make a living on here!" I looked around, if I get up now, I could make a run for it and get the hell out of here. I didn't think too long, though when I got my chance, I ran out the door of my house and down the alley. I kept running, I had to get back to my friend's house. I know Jinxx would be able to help me, but I was slammed into the wall of a building hard, and kept being slammed into it. I could feel my bones almost breaking and by the time he did let me go, I couldn't move because of the pain. Hell I wasn't even able to think right, from my head hitting the brick wall, I was useless now. I couldn't even get away.

"I really hate when everyone think they can run away from someone that is clearly more dangerous and faster then them." He was standing over me and looking around. I tried to get up and run again but couldn't feel anything. "Don't try to move, it's not going to work, though, thanks for running though, you just made this very easy for me." He smiled before taking my arm and bitting into it. It really fucking hurt and I couldn't even scream. It's not fun feeling every drop of blood leaving your body. It fucking hurt.

"Stop....leave me alone...." I could feel myself getting weak and really tried, if this was death. I didn't want to be here anymore. "Or just fucking end my life already."

"I don't want to end your life, I want to give you a new one. You'll never die unless a hunter or I kill you. You'll never get older, you will be young forever. You'll be fast, have powers belong anything a normal human will have. And I can't wait to see the gift you come with either. It might put my brother's group on top of the best vampire list. I'll try and make this quick but when you wake up there is going to be a lot of new things you never had before." He laughed and just bit into my head against, this time I was able to get a whimper out.

I don't know how long it was that I was there, being killed slowly by a fucking vampire, but before I could past out, I felt him lay me on the ground. I mean I just know I went from sitting to laying down, I couldn't feel anything or see. Soon, there was a really shape pain going through my body. I wanted to scream and couldn't and I could hear this guy talking to me. What worry me more was when he picked me up when my body was going through fits of shaking. I don't know where he was taking me but I know it wasn't back to my house. I ended up blacking out when I felt one more shape pain, like my heart just stopped because someone stabbed me. I was out cold so I had no idea where I would wake up at.

When I did wake up again, the burning in my throat. I sit up and I looked around, this was not my home and I didn't like it one bit, it smell of death and blood. I got off the bed and looked around, my senses were different. I could smell something that made my stomach growl a bit and I looked out my window. I was still in LA, but where the hell was I? I could hear heart beats, people talking about how much fun they had at a party. I could hear kids talking about the school dance. There was so much new things, I looked at my hand, my skin seem to be normal and I reach up to make sure that I was myself, I felt like myself but then when I got to my mouth, I could feel the fangs. This was different, I heard the door open and turn around seeing this guy dressed in clothes from the 1700s or 1800s. He had vampire all over him. This was the person that attack me and killed my dogs. I growled a bit and he just laughed at me.

"Oh it's good to see you're awake. I see you can tell there is new senses." He smirked at me. "Though, it's going to be fun to test out your gifts." Fuck, so that mean the good smell is blood, fuck I don't want to hurt people!

"I don't fucking want this! Just kill me right now!" I looked him dead in the eye, but before I could say anything else he grabbed my hair and bit into the side of my neck and all I felt was pain, a really bad pain like all my viens were on fire and burning me from the inside out. I screamed in pain but he stopped as I felt back against the wall.

"You didn't like that, did you? If I kill you, you would feel that until your very last breath, and it only gets worse the closer you are to death." He smirked more. "So you still want to be killed?" I just shook my head and he smiled. "Good, now we better get you something to eat. Come on, the night is young..." He walked out of the room and I followed behind him. I could tell that he was in charge, he was the vampire that turned me, my creator. I couldn't fight him or I was punished.

He teached me everything I knew, from hunting people, half breeds and other vampires. He would have me kill his other creators just to get me strong with things, I ended up with their gifts too. I was able to heal anyone with my blood, any human, vampire or half breed and they won't turn into a vampire if they are human because it's something weird with my blood. I was his favoritre creation and he made sure to let me know that by giving me my free will at times. One night though, he went out to meet his brothers, Vincent and Scott. I was left on my own and wanted to see my friend. I been missing for a while now, people have been looking for me and never found me. I think they gave up on the search, but I needed to let Jinxx know I was okay. I was walking toward his house until I seen him looking right at me.

"Jake! Where the hell have you been? Everyone was looking for you found your dogs and apartment a mess. What happen to you?" He was just looking at me and I looked away. I heard him sigh. "You look different."

"Listen, I don't know how much time I got to tell you things but you need to listen to me and closely. One don't go out alone anymore, there is a group of vampires around here that is killing people and turning humans that have gifts into one of them. He came after me the night I walked home. I couldn't fucking fight him and he killed my dogs." I just looked at him and from him staring at me, I could tell he already knew I was a vampire.

"Fuck, so that's what happen to you? Man we need to get you away then. Listen, I think I know how to get you out of here though with you being a vamp, maybe we can find a place. I know there is hidden towns." I was about to answer him but I froze, we both did when Nelson came out of no where.

"Now Jake, it's not good to tell humans about us. Though it's funny to find out you are friends with this one. Another gifted human." Jinxx back away from us when Nelson walked up beside me. I looked at him and he just had his eyes on Nelson the whole time.

Though now I know who Nelson was keeping his eye on when he told me he had to go see something. I couldn't stop myself, I had to get Jinxx away from him. My friend can't suffer like me. "Jinxx! Run! He's going to turn you! Just fucking get out of here and leave!" That fast I seen my best friend run and Nelson looked at me. He was pissed.

"You're going to fucking regret that...." He grabbed me by my hair and before I could do anything, bit into my neck. The pain was so horrible I tried to scream in pain but he bit down harder to stop me from screaming. I felt week and just fell limp into his arms before he walked off, dragging me with him. We ended back at the house and he walked me down to the basement. He sat me in the chair and chained me to it. "You were being so good, I should have known it was a friend of your. I mean you two almost look the same." He went to reach for something on the table and I couldn't tell what it was, he had me so weak from drinking blood that the buring feeling didn't go away. "Don't worry, the burning will stop after what I'm about to do to you happens." He had this thing, it looked liked it was to pull out teeth and I frown.

"No, I'm sorry! I just don't want my friend to suffer like me!" I tried to get out but the burning wouldn't let me and I was still weak.

"Too late, you will learn, I get what I want. After I'm done with you, I'll hunt him down." He forced my mouth open even though I tired to keep my mouth shut and he ripped out both fangs, all I could do was taste my own blood and coughing on it. "Stupid new born." He left the room after that.

It took about three painful months for my fangs to grow back. I was so hungry and still chain to the chair. Nelson never came back. Though today I heard moving around upstairs. Soon the door open and I seen my best friend thrown down the stair and laying on the floor, he was out cold and I could tell already that he was turning. Nelson walked down to me and smirked at me. "Told you I get what I want." He walked over and unchain me before going over to Jinxx and making sure he didn't do anything too bad to him from throwing him down the stairs. I got up and I was ready to go hit him but he looked up at me, causing me to freeze in my tracks and looked away from him. I hated that he had that creator control. "Do anything and I'll rip out both your fangs and his. It won't be good for him because like you he will need to fed as soon as he wakes up."

"Sorry...." I walked over to my friend and tried to get him to wake up. I could tell that he was fully turn. "Jinxx....come on wake up man..." He loved a bit and just looked at me and he seem to be like I was when I first woke up.

"Damn, I feel like I been run over or something." He sit up and looked at Nelson, then looking back at me. We just stared at each other and knew we were trapped forever.

Nelson train us to protect ourselves, to hunt like he did. He even took us to his brother's group and show us off like we were pets or something. Jinxx and I tried to run, we try everything but when we step out of line he was always there to put us back into our plan. It go to the point that we just gave in and did as he told us to. We killed so many people that didn't deserve it. Jinxx's powers were amazing as mine, he could make people see things that were not there or he could read minds, it help us pick up hunters so we wouldn't be found. Though there was one family that got the best of us. Nelson's lover was killed right before all our eyes, he was so pissed that he had us run off and plan to attack them some other time.

One day we were out hunting this family, they were hunters but turned vampire, we only found this out asking around about them. Nelson wanted us to kill them and we had to do what he asked us to do. Jinxx got some of them to fall into his trap but there was this one girl that was our age, she came out of no where and knocked us both on the ground, when we woke up, we were wrapped in chains and we could hear Nelson screaming. The control he had on us was weaken and went he was dead from being burn to death, they came after us. Though someone stopped them.

"No, leave these two go, they didn't want this. They are train so they know how to take care of themselves, from the bites on their necks, they are deep or probably painful to the touch, looks like he was feeding from them as a punishment. Even their eyes look so useless. They would torture by this vampire. They are still young." At the time we didn't know it was Julia that saved us.

"They are still a cause so many deaths. We can't just kill their creator and let them live." I'm guessing it was her mom that said that. We were watching in horror as they came close to us with the torch.

"The are scared, they aren't fighting to get free to kill us, they are afraid of dying and they are young yet. They will be good, they have gifts and I'm sure they will find a group and home that will be just right for them. They won't live like he wanted them to do. We should go, they will break out on their own." Lydia was there too and she was the one vampire we ever met other then Nelson who knew about our gifts.

We did end up breaking free and just going off on our own. We moved around LA looking for anything. Jinxx did get even with the person that broke his heart. I didn't want him to but he was hungry and we were both slowly dying without food. One day we walked to the hollywood sign, not many people come up here anymore. We both made a stake and were planning to end it all. We didn't want to be vampires anymore.

"I'm so tired of living off of blood, I don't want this anymore." I looked at Jinxx and he nodded, we were about to kill ourselves but someone stopped us.

"Don't even do it...." He walked out of no where and took the stakes from us. He just looked at us and frown. "Just because you didn't want this, there is other ways to live, you don't have to drink from humans. There are hospitals and blood banks that will be happy to help you. I can help you guys. Just follow me." He looked like we seen him before and then it hit us.

"You're that guy, the one that was looking for band members, but you're a vampire." I was just in shock.

"I been a vampire for almost 200 years. I was turned against my will and it was by my own lover that was a jealous bitch. I suffer a long time, but now I'm here to help you guys and I will always be here to help you all. And the band is still a go, I can give you guys that chance to be rock stars. It's just we will be an all and only vampire rock band." He smirked a bit and we just followed him. "I'm Andy by the way."

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Jake and that's Jinxx." He nodded and since that day we found someone to stick with and learn a new way of living without being monsters like Nelson wanted us to be.

*end of flash back*

I was looking at the girls and Jinxx looked at me. We never really told people about the abuse we suffer. He was shock I even brought that up.

"Damn, so that guy that I seen after you at the store, he was the brother of the one that turned you. Is that why he bit you?" I looked at Alice before looking at Jinxx, I didn't know that Vincent bit him.

"What is she talking about?" Jinxx just sighed and I know he didn't want to tell me anything. "Have you told Andy?"

"No, Jamie knows though, she's going to be mad that me and you came out here with the girls alone with Vincent and them around. She didn't want us alone because Vincent knew that Nelson created us. Jamie even said that she's worry that they will force us into joining them and she don't want us in danger." He just closed his eyes and Alice cling to him.

"Don't worry, Ella and I won't let anything happen to you two and with the Kanno's now on your side, they won't let anything happen to you." She kissed his cheek before just laying down with him. I looked at Ella and she smiled at me.

"You two might be vampires, but you both have a good heart, it might not be like a human but for some reason, you guys did keep your human selves. Lots of turn vamps lose their human self, only hunters turn vamp keeps their human selves and I know you five are not hunters, so that means your will power is greater then anything. It's good to have you five with us and not against us." She kissed me and we just lay down on the blanket, looking up at the sky.
It was about time to go home and we were packing everything back and heading to the car, we decided to take the girls home before going back to the house. Though I was getting the being watched feeling again. I didn't like it one bit, but something was going on. I looked around as Jinxx drove home and I hope whoever is was watching us that they wouldn't follow us home. I think a bit about the feelings I got that night Nelson follow me home, I still don't know how he got in my house.

"You feel someone watching us too, don't you? Maybe we shouldn't go home and have the guys meet us somewhere so that we can all be together if they try something." Jinxx seem to be really good at this whole mind reading thing.

"Yeah but what if they all want us together. We should call Jamie and Nick, tell them to meet us somewhere, no one will got after them because they are known to kill any vamps on sight, we just got lucky they look us in." There was a reason behind that.

"They took us in because we refused to hunt like normal vampires after seeing what happen to Chris. We about all died from not having enough food. They found us near their house and tried to feed us their own blood and we refused. They knew we were different, that we rather die then kill humans to keep us safe. It didn't help that just to make sure we didn't bite anyone in this town, we all ripped out our own fangs. They seen the pain we did to ourselves to make sure of that and they seen us slowly dying. I wonder why they were feeding us their blood it didn't bother them. It's because they been vampires this whole time." I looked out to the dark, before saying what was on my mind. I know he knew it already, but I had to say it.

"They treat us as their kids and if we don't protect them, Vincent and his friends have something to take from us. We need to make sure that Roku's group is fine. We need to talk to Andy. I know hanging out with that group can put them all in danger." Jinxx nodded and pulled into the driveway, everyone was home now and we just both walked into the house. We decided that we would talk to Andy later about things, away from our 'parents' I will call them now. They really did take us in when we were at death's doors. I couldn't wait to see what tomorrow brought, but for now. We just keep everything to ourselves since the others were in bed.

A/N: Sorry it's been so long since I posted! I ended up going to a botdf concert and getting sick so since it's almost a week later going to try and get as much writing as I can. Anyways going back to Roku's pov, things are going to get a bit more crazy from here on.
