From Within Secrets

*Roku's POV*

It was late at night and I couldn't sleep anymore. I looked next to me to see that Chris was out cold yet. He's been stressing, I know. Though his hand was moving a bit, I notice this happen when he talked to Delsin in his dreams. I don't know why but I really didn't care for Delsin. I know he was my great grandmother's lover, but he pulled Chris into this war now. He pulled all of us into this war. We attack and killed one of Vincent's friends, family of the group. He was going to get back at us, I didn't know how. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to hide in there known that no one would come into the bathroom when the door was shut. I called Cambria and I told her everything that was going on.

"I don't know what to do anymore. If we don't stay ahead of them, then what are we going to do? I need everyone to work things out. Maybe I should have you pick me up. I mean I know I'm here for my own protection, no one is dumb enough to mess with a house full of vampires. But I need to do something. Killing Kaila like we did. Vincent is going to start coming up with more things. What if you or someone gets hurt?" I was really upset. I know vampires like Vincent, when you hurt someone close to them, they start playing games. "Hold on, I'm getting a call from Wyatt." I put Cambria on hold before answering Wyatt's call. "Hello?"

"Roku, something is wrong, I went over to Caiden's house and no one here, there is fucking blood everywhere and I don't know what to do. All I found was a note that said, 'tell the vamps and the hunter girl, the games start now'. What the fuck did them guys do? Why would this person come after Caiden???" Wyatt was worry and I felt sick.

"They knew, they fucking knew he was one of the closes people to me. I need to warn Cambria and Chloe. Wyatt, get home and lock your door. It's that Vincent vampire. We killed the one girl. She killed Mrs. Gam and took over her body so that she could get closer to me and Chris because of the legend, you know that. Get home and lock down the house. Call everyone. I have Cambria on the other line." He told me okay and hang up. I switch back to Cambria. "They have Caiden, they attacked him in his own house. I need to go wake up the guys. He wants to play a game and if we don't Caiden is as good as dead. You need to lock down your house. Don't let anyone in." I waited for her to tell me okay before saying my goodbyes and hanging up. I went to walk out of the bathroom and walked right into Chris's chest and just looked up at him. I couldn't help but start crying. Why Caiden? He wasn't a fighter. He was a sweet kid, halfling that was gay and had his vampire boyfriend. I really hope he was okay.

"Roku, what's wrong?" Before I could answer him. Andy showed up and when just looking at me. I think he sensed Chris worrying, came to see what happen and now he was looking through my mind, seeing what I know. "Andy?"

"Vincent attack, he went after that kid Roku's friends with. Caiden, which means he has the kid and he's going to play a game. You know what this game is...." He just looked at Chris and he nodded. He just hold me tighter in his arms. "I'm going to call him see what he wants and we will play this game. But we should see if anyone else is missing. Caiden can't be the only one...." Andy walked off to wake up the others. Chris and I worked on calling my friends and we all agree to meet at the park. I know they would get our message and whoever don't show. Well they are with Caiden or somewhere.

*Few Hours Later*

We walked to the park and I was sitting with Cambria and Chris. Everyone was there but Chloe, Caiden, Julia, Lydia, Ella and Kaia. Alice ran up to Jinxx and just hugged him crying. She looked scared and beat up and we wonder what happen. "Someone broke into Ella's house and took her!" We just all looked at Jake and we knew that wasn't easy for him. Even Ashley wasn't calm because Chloe wasn't there. I see they grabbed more then I thought they would.

"It's okay, Andy is going to call the people that did this. We might have to play this fucking stupid game of their but once we do, we need to fucking hurry and get our friends back before it's too late. I'm not going to lie, but there is a good chance, people will die..." Jinxx just looked at Alice and everyone else. Andy just sighed.

"He's right, they wouldn't let us keep all 6 of them alive. We need to plan this well. Who knows, some of them might already be dead. Vincent wanted us to pay for what happen to Kaila. I told you all once before with him here, there will be bad things to happen, even if we didn't kill one of his friends. He would still come after all of us. It's time to call him and see what he wants us to do." Andy called and was talking to Vincent and them for a bit. He didn't look happy as he was talking to them and he was making sure we couldn't hear anything until he knew what the game was. When he hang up the phone. He just looked at us.

"What's going on? You don't look like you're having too much fun?" I wanted to know what that face was and he just sighed a bit.

"So, they are in the old burn down building, locked in different parts. He flat out told me that he did kill some of them for getting on his nerves. There is only two that are alive, but they won't be for long if we don't find them. They are hurt badly." Andy just looked down, it bugged him so badly that 4 of 6 of them have been killed already, but which ones?

"This is fucking bullshit! You mean to tell me that they fucking flat out told you that they killed our friends???" Wyatt was really pissed off and I could tell that Andy wasn't going to be nice if he kept it up.

"Back off, you might be a vampire too but I'll beat you into the ground. Grow the fuck up. Welcome to the fucking real world where vampires can be so evil it's why the fucking hunters try to kill us all!" Andy was in his face and he wasn't backing down. Andy wanted people to know that he is in charge and that if you want to step out of line, he would beat the shit out of you until you got back in your place.

"I think everyone should get back to our house. We will go find out who is there yet and get them help. But we don't need everyone going to this building, if it's a trap, then what do you all think is going to happen?" Ashley walked up to Andy and got him to back off a bit before looking at everyone else. They all agree to go to the house and wait until we came back or called.
We all went to the building that Vincent told us about. They were trying to tell me and Chris to stay home but we didn't want to. When we got there they said that it smelled like death and blood. It was making some of them sick but I couldn't smell it. I was just a human, I couldn't sense anything they could. We walked into the the place together. Ashley, Jinxx and Jake went one way and we stick with Andy. We had five people to find. We told Jamie and Nick what was going on and they were going to get the cops and that here. Even my parents to control this whole thing, while we went looking for the bodies and two that were alive yet. I just kept following the guys but I looked around. This place had a weird sense to it. I didn't like the feelings I was getting from it. I stopped outside the one room and walked to the door, opening it. It was dark so I took out my phone for the light, turning it on and screamed at what I seen. Julia and Lydia, the lovers, the vampire/hunters that saved the guys and brought them all here. They were hanging upside down, with their stomachs ripped open and their guts just hanging out of them. They looked like what people did to pigs or cows. I felt sick and Andy pulled me out of the room and pushed me into Chris's arms where he just heldd me against him and made sure that my eyes were hidden so that I couldn't see anything more. Andy pulled out the radio and sighs before telling everyone.

"I found Julia and Lydia, their dead, there is no fucking way in hell to bringing them back either. Vincent and his group ripped them to pieces. I'm really not liking this, who knows what other shape the others are in." Andy just looked at me and I was just shaking. "I'm really starting to think this is going to be too much. I should take you and Chris back out to the others." I just shake my head.

"No, we need to find the others!" I just cling to Chris and was shaking still he just lean down and kissed my cheek.

"Everything will be find, I'll keep her safe..." He just made sure to keep me close to him. We called from someone to come in with body bags and kept looking for the others. That's two down, four to find yet. Jinxx was the next one to radio us.

"I found Chloe, Ashley isn't taking it well at all. They fucking ripped her limbs off and there is pieces of her everywhere in the room we found her in. I mean it they really ripped her to piece. This isn't looking good Andy, not at all." I just heard Andy sighed more.

"So that leaves one more dead preson to find. I hate to say it like that but only two of them are alive and who fucking knows where they are. Call the team in and tell them what room. It's a good thing this use to be an apartment building or they would have a hard time finding things. We need to get moving. It's been fucking hours." We moved room to room, looking for anyone. We found Ella next and she was dead, someone cut her throat and we could tell she was tied to a bed. Who knew what else happen to her. These people were fucking sick. "We found Ella, she's gone....I'm calling in the cops to come get her out. Sorry Jake. But that means Caiden and Kaia is alive, we need to find them and fast...."

I couldn't believe that they were all dead. Now we had to find the other two. We looked and looked, it took us five hours and meeting up with the other three to find them. They were badly beat, Caiden was out cold, it looked like he had a broken leg and his eye was black and blue, he looked like he was in pain and just really beaten. Kaia's clothes were ripped, she was cut up and had bite marks on her, they both did. But it wasn't to turn them but to just feed. They wanted us to find these two. We got them out of the building and to the hospital. We were all waiting to hear news. We told everyone else what was going on and they all came to the hopsital too. I watched Wyatt come up to me and just looked at me.

"Please tell me that Caiden isn't one of the ones dead????" He was freaking out and I sighed.
"We found him alive but out cold, he was really hurt badly, but we think we found him and Kaia before it was too late for them. So don't worry. The only ones that were killed was Ella, Chloe, Julia and Lydia. This isn't going to be let go. The guys are making plans who to go after next. If we can, Neko and Lissa will die soon, because I know it was them." I looked up as my parents came into the hospital. They didn't seem happy at all. "What's going on?"

"There been more deaths." All the guys were looking at my father. I could see Andy trying to stay calm, I seen all of them trying to keep calm but it was failing. "There been families, full familes that been killed, ones we didn't even know were dead. It seems Vincent made his move even before you all made your move on Kaila." I see so he's been killing people. "All the kids that were with Aiden, them and their families were killed, been dead for a few weeks now, probably by the time Chris ended up in the hopsital from their attacks. I wouldn't put it pass them to kill them all known they help put Chris in the hospital like the did." I didn't like where this was going.

"So you mean to tell me, after you took Aiden back, they killed the others and all their families?" Andy didn't sound happy and his eyes were turning red. He was becoming a vampire out for blood now. He was pissed.

"Yes, the three vampires Eris, Issac and Xavier were found dead along with their families this morning when we send cops out to warn everyone of the danger. Then just tonight the cops found 4 hunters that were in that group too. Graven, Damen, Tyson and Akeem. All dead with their families. With the 4 you found and them that makes about 20 people dead. I hope you all have a plan." My dad just looked at me and I didn't know what was going on. "It's good I got Aiden back, he isn't dealing well known that his friends are all dead now. I know he hang out with them trouble makers but no one deserves to be killed." My dad walked off, "Let me know your plan before you kids move, I want to make sure we have as much help as we can so that no one else is killed. There is going to be rules for this town until we get rid of them three and the town is closed down for now. I have all gates close to outsiders, anyone in here is trapped. I will not open the gates until this is all fix. Do I make myself clear? And as for Roku and Chris, I think they should stay with me. Kanno land is really protected right now and I think it will be better." I just looked at Chris and then my dad.

"We have to help dad, we can't be just hiding at the mansion all day long. We have school and we need to be able to help others. You know that we have to. It's part of who we are." I just looked at him and seen that he stopped at the door.

"I know that, but when it comes to being at home and not being able to help. To make plans and all, it's best to come to the mansion where one I can work with you all and we know that we don't have anyone we don't want hearing our plans." He just looked back at us and Andy sighed again.

"I guess it will be okay but everyone here should be in the mansion. You know they attack the people close to us now. Once Caiden and Kaia is out of ER, we should move them too and have your doctors and nurses watching them. Chris is a proven fact they will attack in the hosptial." My dad nodded, agreeing with Andy.

"Then you are all welcome to my home and can stay as long as you like. But we need to get rid of these vampires and soon." He walked off and I know he headed back home. I couldn't believe what was going on. 20 fucking deaths? Just in a few months. I was feeling sick and just closed my eyes.

"Roku?" I feel Chris move to my side and I just looked at him. "You're okay, right?"
"I'm fine, it's just this is too much. We need to get rid of them." I just lean against him and Andy looked at us.

"All of you should go home to Roku's house. I'm sure Cambria and others will drive the rest of you there. I know Roku will go with Cambria too. Me and the guys will say here and once Caiden and Kaia is ready to be moved to the mansion. We will be there. But you all need some sleep. So go....now...." His voice was a bit deadly, he was pissed, he hated to lose and with 20 deaths he feel like he was losing.

We all went back to the mansion, it was nice to be here again. My parents gave everyone a room and I just went to mine with Chris following me. Cambria stayed in my room with us which I was fine because it keep my parents from thinking anything bad was going on with me and Chris. I was sitting on my bed, Chris laying down beside me and Cambria on the sofa. I was just thinking before I heard a knock on the door and looked up as Aiden walked into the room. This had Chris on edge, he was sitting up and showing fangs to my brother. I don't blame him, Aiden was one of the reasons why he was in the hospital.

"I just wanted to come in and say sorry, I know I did wrong to you Chris, but I didn't mean anything by it. I know you're important to my little sister and our family and I'm sorry I went with the others. If I knew this was going to happen I would change it all if I could. But the past is the past and I'm sorry." He walked out of my room and shut the door going back to his room probably. I put my hand on Chris's hand and he just looked at me.

"Let it go, Aiden was in a bad group and that group is dead. Vincent also fucked with his mind a bit. My brother is a good guy just full of himself sometimes. Please, forgive him." I watched Chris before his eyes soften and he just nodded falling back asleep. I looked at Cambria and sighs a bit.

"Everything will be okay Roku, don't worry so much. Things will be okay. Just give it time." We both went to bed after that, wondering what tomorrow morning will bring.

*The Next Morning*

When I won't up in the morning, I could tell that one Chris wasn't in bed with me and there was a lot of sound coming from around the house. I decided to take a shower and dressed before going to the living room where I heard everyone. It turn out more people over night were found dead. There was two more hunter familes, kids we knew in school Kestrel and Vienna's families. Then three halfling families too, other kids in our school. Avra, Grace and Morgan's familes. That put us up to 30 deaths now. It was making me sick to my stomach. I just looked at everyone as they talked about this. No one notice that I was there and it's like they were trying to keep it a serect from me known how I feel. I walked up to the table and that's when everyone went quiet and just looked at me. I looked around the table and seen there were more and more deaths. Vincent was really on the move and they wanted to make sure that people fear them.
"Roku, you should be in bed." Chris just looked at me and I looked around at everyone else. I see they were trying to keep me out of things. Just like people kept my grandmother out of things.

"This is my town, I think I have a right to know. And so does my family. You all can't make this chioce alone." I just looked at them all, before taking the papers from Andy's hands, he didn't stop me but they were all watching me as a read everything that was going on with the town right now. I just frown and felt sick, I don't know what happen, I was reading the details about how some of the familys were ripped to pieces and so on and how others were killed or hang or something. Then I woke up in my bed with Chris at my side. "What happen?" I just looked at him, I could feel the cold wet cloth on my forhead and wonder if I passed out.

"You passed out. You were reading over everything that was happening in the town and you passed out love. You need to let us do this. You don't have it in you to be mean. Hell I don't either. But we need to stop him and you're just a human. Stay in bed and let us deal with this." He goes to walk away but I grabbed this arm.

"Then fucking turn me, beat them to it." I looked him dead in the eyes and I could tell he didn't like the idea. "Chris, please. I need to help, I need to do what I can to protect the town. Just do it....." He just shakes his head.

"I'm not taking you away from your parents like that. I'm not going to do something that is going to get me in trouble with them. Andy probably won't let me either. I never turned anymore and I'm just a creation myself. The others are not, and their masters are gone." He just pulled his arm out of my hand. "Stay in bed....I will not turn you into something, that even I hate about myself...." He just left the room and I didn't know where he went. I just lay there and couldn't believe what just happen.

I lay there for hours until I got up, I didn't see Chris, he didn't come back into the room after our talk about turning me. I went to walk out of my room and see my dad and Andy talking. I just looked at them and wonder why they were outside my room. "What's going on?" They both looked up at me as in shock to see that I was awake and Andy just looked at my dad. I don't know what the look was about but my dad nodded and walked off. Now I was stuck with just me and Andy standing there. "What's going on, I'm not asking again......" I was getting annoyed.
"Just talking to your dad about something Chris went to him about. I'm shock you asked him that, sadly he can't do it, or more like won't. He hates being what he is. Why would he let you live like that?" Andy pushed me back into my room and shut the door. I don't know what he plan but something told me if I want what I wanted. It was either him or one of the other members of the group because Chris wasn't going to give me my wish. "You're right, he won't." I just looked at him.

"Didn't I tell you once before don't fucking read my mind?" I just glared at him and he laughed a bit. "I mean it Andy!"

"I know you do, but he don't want you like us. He don't want you to suffer like him. He hates being a vampire, he tried to kill himself so many times just to get away from this life. But then he found you ready to be attack by one of Vincent's men and he had to save you, even if he was going to kill you himself. He wanted the hunters to come after him. What better then to attack a 6 year old? But he didn't, couldn't because he knew you two had some kind of pull. He knew you were important to him. He can't turn you because he's too afraid. But me or one of the others can. Your dad knows what is going to happen to you. It's either us or Vincent and he flat out told me he rather us. It's just I was hoping you would be asleep though Chris clearly has you upset." I feel my back hit the wall and now I was trapped, I didn't know if I wanted to be turned by Andy and he just laughed. "I'm not turning you, don't you remember who created Chris?" Then I looked behind me as Chris was there, he was looking down.

"Andy, I don't think this is right. Why did you have to go to Hidan?" Chris just looked at him.
"Maybe you should listen to her more. Roku is almost 18, she can make her own plans and even Hidan said. She's better with us then Vincent. It will be one less thing that Vincent can do. He will attack us, when he find out he can't turn Roku. Now I'm leaving, you got the okay. Now give her what she wants. Because I can't do it....." Andy walked away but I could tell he was outside the door, reading mine and Chris's minds.

"Do you really want this Roku? Do you really want to live as something your family hunted for years?" He seem really hurt and I just go up and hugged him. He put his arms around me and just hugged me back. He hold me as I lay my head on his chest. "What if I can't stop, what if I end up doing what Delsin did? We know how hurt it is for me, how many times I fight it...you remember the first night we were alone." I did remember. He couldn't fight anymore and I allowed him.

"I want this, it will save us a great deal. Just do it Chris, Andy is outside he will stop if I or you call him in." I smiled when I felt him lower his head to my neck, he kissed my neck, pressing his lips against my skin and sighs a bit, before I felt his fangs sticking into my next, it was painful but now that bad. I didn't scream, I didn't whimper. This was something I wanted. I needed to be a vampire, I needed to help them. As a human I would just be a target and a control on them, I'll be usless as a human, worthless, but as a vampire I can go one on one with Vincent along side of them.

I felt my human side fating away, okay this was getting a bit scary now but I didn't let anyone know that. I let Chris do what he had to and like that, he stopped, though I couldn't see anything or hardly hear things. I just know there was two there now and I seen someone take a long nail and cut Chris's wrist, telling him that he had to hurry that it was a good chance of me dying if he didn't. I blacked out after that was said after something like water hit my mouth. I don't know what happen next because I was out cold.

A/N: Vincent is going to be pissed *laughs evilly* But I like how this story is somewhat writing itself, don't worry there will be more death of friends. I'm not done with that yet , but who will be killed next. Well we have to wait. Next chapter might be more then one POV so just heads up.
