From Within Secrets

*Ashley's POV*

Chris was still in the hospital, it seem that Aiden and his group really did a fucking number on him. As he is in the hospital, we were the only wants to watch over Roku. Andy stick with her the most but right now we were in art and it was just me and her. I was looking around and I could see a few of Aiden's new group. Eris was watching us, I seen Tyson too, his eyes were on me and I really didn't like that after seeing what they did to Chris.

As soon as the bell ring, I follow Roku out of the classroom and stay really close to her, but that didn't stop them two from coming up to her. We were walking to the lunch room when Eris appeared in front of us and I grabbed Roku and hid her behind me as we were blocked off by both of them. "It's nice you guys want to talk, but I'm not in the mood for talking after what you did to my brother." I narrow my eyes at them and they just shrug and looked at Roku who was peeking behind me.

"Like we want to talk to you anyways, we want to talk to her." Eris smirked and that fast she had me against the wall and fangs out threaten if I moved, she would do the same to me, as she did to Chris.

"I don't want to talk to any of you, how dare you think you can just come here and ruin everything my great grandmother work hard to make. We took in everyone from vampires to hunters and halflings. Just so we could all live in peace because the outside world wasn't the best and everyone was trying to kill each other, now there is a place for everyone to live in peace. For years it's been like this in the town and now just a few of you want to change it?" She was standing her ground and I could see the other Tyson closing in on her and let my warning signs be shown, getting Andy and the others to come to where we were. "Then you go and change my brother? He knows his place here, he knows his orders. He is a fucking Kanno." She whimpered as Tyson grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her against the wall, and I just growled a bit, though Eris made sure to let me know she was there.

I watched as he removed the make up that cover the fang marks from Chris and sighed. "We all knew he bit you, can only hide bite marks from humans. Hunters and Vampire will see it, halflings don't even know where to look at times. Hunters can pick it up because it's what we do, vampires can sense when others bite a human or hunter. Though you're bite marks are different, he wasn't out to kill you, it was more of a mark that said you're his....." I seen Roku look away from him and to the ground.

"I don't have to explain myself, my parents know already and so does everyone around us. I'm sure you and your friends made it known too after putting Chris in the hospital. But I have nothing to say, the bonds are started and when I take over this town, you're all getting cast out!" She looked at him, it looks as if her purple eyes glow and it made him back away. "Yes, my great grandmother's blood flows through me and I won't back down or even go back on anything I say. Even Aiden will be cast out if he wants to join you." I smirked to see that and Eris was even side track too that I pushed her away and hard.

"Roku, the others are waiting for us. We need to go and if you want to see Chris later tonight, maybe we should get going early." I smiled and walked off, putting an arm around Roku to keep her in front of me. I didn't want anything to happen to her and she really just went up again Tyson, he was the worse out of all of them.

We just kept walking until we were almost at the lunch room and someone hit me over the head with something. I fell to the ground and I heard Roku scream. "Ashley! Ashley get up! NOW!!! ASHLEY!!!" She was scared but whatever was going on, Andy show up and beat the shit out of someone. He was one of the oldest of us, so he knew how to play well when it came to a unfair match.

"I'm getting really tired of you all. First you, nearly fucking take out one of my best friends, now you're after Roku, and threaten another one of my group, grow the fuck up and get over yourselves! You should be ashame of yourself Aiden. Your parents are actually thinking about taking you off everything, casting you out of here with your friends and that vampire group." Andy was holding Roku very protectly in his arms. Jinxx and Jake were the ones to help me up off the floor and I could see it was all of them. The one that hit me was Issac and I could still smell Chris's blood on him. It made me sick to know that. I hold my head a bit, I don't know what he hit me with but it fucking hurt.

"They can't cast me out because I have Kanno blood that runs through my veins just as much as Roku does. Your friend deserved what he got, drinking from a Kanno is off limits." He just glared at us.

"That's where you're wrong, yes, it's off limits to others, but Chris was a different case, your parents seen that. They were testing us all that night, that fact Chris acted like he did was because he was being protective over Roku and his bond without even known it." Andy was just holding Roku close to him, she welcome it too because after all it was him who save Chris, who gave him a chance to live and find someone like Roku.

"I don't want to be here anymore, I want to go to the hospital, I'm done with school for today. It was a bad move to come back." Roku just whispered but only vampires could hear her. Issac and Xavier were both looking at her. Soon the treacher came, Mrs. I don't remember her name. But she's been off for a while.

"What's going on here?" Andy looked at her and then back at Aiden and them.

"Nothing, they were causing trouble, we were about ready to leave, Roku's not feeling good and we are hire to protect her by the Kanno's." Andy was calm he was telling the truth though some of it was a lie, no one could tell though. She really just wanted to be with her mate. Being away from him really hurt more then normal and they were together now.

"Roku, are you sure you are feeling okay? You can go to the nurse if you want dear." Mrs. Gain always was kind to Roku but there was still something off about her. I couldn't tell what it is but something didn't seem right.

"I'm fine, I just want to go home. So please let Andy and them do their job and get me out of here. Or I will have my parents call the school." She just cling to Andy and I felt bad because with Chris not here Andy was the closest she could get to him. When the treacher nodded, she walked out with Andy and we followed right behind them. Though I could tell already this was going to be a game to them all. I wonder what Chris and Roku talked about that night in the hospital. We couldn't hear anything, even Andy didn't know what was said. Roku told him something and it was bugging us all.

"Roku, we need to talk about something." He put her in the back of the car, Jake decided to drive and Jinxx sat next to him. Me and Andy sat in the back with Roku. "We should get the others to meet us. I'll text Chlo tell her to get Cambria, Ella and Alice." I did as I said and I just heard Roku sigh next to me.

"It's Aiden, some of the hunters want to raise against my family, they don't like that Chris and I are together now, they know that it's in my blood, just like my great grandmother's blood that I am meant to be a vampire. But there is down falls of that. One, I'll be stuck in your group with you guys, meaning once I'm a vampire, I won't be able to be far without him, I would have to stay at his side. Another thing is, I am to take over the Kanno name, after school. If I am a vampire, my family will forever be on top and people don't like the idea of a vampire ruling them. Some of the hunters are still stuck in the old ways, they just come here in hope to get my family to realize having vampires and halflings here is a bad idea. But what scares them the most is that Chris and I are so close." She just sighs more and closes her eyes. She found Andy very calming to be around. "But there is issues with that, one of the reasons I turn down Chris's offer already. It doesn't mean I won't accept it later on but right now I need to be in control. They tricked my brother into joining them, I think they are using something against him to make him want to work with them."

"That can't be right! Your brother is one of the great hunters, he is the first to stand up to Andy when no one else did." Jake did have a point about that one.

"His eyes are blank, someone is controlling my brother. They are using him and from what you guys just did, they are going to keep using him. Someone has my brother under their spell." I never even thought of that.

"That's what you and Chris were talking about that night we all left and he wanted you to stay. You sense it already because it was him who hurt Chris the most, pulling out his fangs. Fuck, Andy we are in real trouble. Jake get to the fucking hospital faster, we shouldn't let humans just protect Chris. We need to keep one of us there." I was worry now and almost wanted to jump out of the car.

"Don't act so quick, they are keeping an eye on us, the faster we move the more they know we are on to them. So let get to Chris and then we can react like we want to. Chris can't defend himself, with the drugs they have him on with pain and all." Andy was right about that. One wrong move and they will go right to Chris, he was the weakest link right now.

"I'm staying with him, I can't stand being away from him anyways." Roku whispered to Andy, he was like a brother to her and she allow us all to be that since she did plan on being with Chris, she made that clear.

"Don't worry sweetie, I'm sure your parents will allow that after we tell them what's going on. I'm sure Nick and Jamie will stay with you too. I can tell already we are going to have a up raise. Whoever has your brother under their control. Is going to cause issues, we need to be ready for anything." Andy smiled and when we got to the hospital, we all walked out of the car and into the building, keeping calm and make sure to not alarm anyone that might be watching. We walked up to his room and when we got there was shock to see Nick and Jamie already there. They looked at all of us. Andy was the first to jump, "What happen to him???" The worry in his vioce caused us to all move in faster and look behind the thing to see that Chris now had a breathing mask on and hook up to all kind of new shit.

Roku ran pass us all and cling to Chris. "Chris!!!!" She was in tears, something you never seen from Kanno's were their tears, they don't cry, so something bad happen. "Chris, wake up, please don't do this to me!" She just grabbed his hand and hold it tightly. Jamie stay with her and Nick went into the hallway telling us to follow him.

As we all walked into the hallway, he closed the door, we could still hear Roku crying and Jamie probably talking to her right now. We all looked at Nick, he was our father and this worry me. "Earlier today, someone killed all the cops standing outside of Chris's room. When they got the door open. There was this guy, he was a lot older. But he was a vampire, he had red eyes and his fangs were huge. He had Chris by the throat and holding him in the air. He threaten that if they didn't let him do what he wanted to, he would snap his neck. He fucking drain him of everything. It's even shocking that he's alive right now because he should be dead. Though he's in a coma." This had Andy pissed he was shaking with anger. "There more, next to his bed, the guy left this." He handed it to Andy so he could read it out to all of us.

"Hello, my name is Neko, I'm Vincent's right hand man, we all met before at the club. You guys think you can keep the Kanno girl safe but sadly you miss one thing. We know her weakness. This young vamp will be the death of her. We want to play a game, we have a spy playing undercover at the school, we have her brother under our control. Things are going to become a little more interesting here in this town. I know this boy is close to her, linked to her. So this is only the start. You're all going to fall unless you can stop us." Andy said and I felt like going out to kill, he was even more mad now. "Fuck this! This guy is going down!"

"Andrew!" He stopped as Nick looked at him and called his name. "Think kid, we need a plan and this is a game now. You know vampire games." He was right Andy did know them well. He's the oldest of all, his creator was one to play mind games with him and then left him for dead. "You need to understand, they will keep coming after Chris, they want you to come after them and then what? Your brothers need you and you can't let anger take over. Me and Jamie are going to stay with Chris. He's a son as much as the rest of you are. This hurts us too." He pulled Andy into a hug, not many could do that to Andy but Nick was like our father, even if he gets annoyed that Chris calls him Nikki at times.

"I'm sorry, I'll react better next time." Andy just walked back into the room to sit with Chris and to be there for Roku, I could tell that Jamie told her about what happen and why because she was crying more. I looked at Nick, along with Jake and Jinxx looking at him still. There was more then just this.

"They want Roku, don't they? They want her known they could control the town, because her parents are handing it over to her. They want to turn her their self because they know that with one of them being her creator, they can use her. That's why they are here, they want the Kanno name?" The other two just looked at me in shock that I said what I did.

"I'm afraid so, and if they get her, they'll make her kill Chris, known he is the only one that can break their hold on her. This world is dangerous boys, this town always has it secrets and dark parts. I live long enough to know that and I lost a daughter to that darkness. Some say it's a curse that Roku's grandmother put on the town. Making her mate turn against her and try to kill her. When it came down to her giving her life, she did speak of one thing, 'In this world of darkness, I leave my soul within the town, to protect all, until it's time for a new era.' That was her words, and now that the new era is here, everythings falling. They have one Kanno, if they get the girls, all hell will break lose in this." He just looked at us all. "The ones that will fall the most will be Andy, Roku and Chris. Killing Chris kills two birds with one stone, a lover and a creator." He walked back into the room and we followed him. Roku was now asleep next to Chris and I couldn't help what I was told.

Only two things were on my mind right now what Roku's great grandmother said and the fact that killing Chris would kill more then just him. I needed to go back to the place that Roku show us. The house and grave of her grandmother. I had a feeling that if we could find anything it would be there. I looked at Nick and it was like he could read my mind. I looked at Andy and the others and they nodded too. It seem we were going to go for a little walk. First stop was Roku's parents.
