A Handy-dandy Guide to Writing Real Person Fiction
Lesson #2
The following are tropisms, especially in BVB real person fiction. While it is not impossible to write a good story based around a tropism, it makes it much more challenging. Readers may instinctively like or dislike a story that contains highly clichéd plot elements.
Boring tropisms:
1- Being a relative of band member A, then entering into a relationship with band member B.
2- Being a performer in a band that goes on Warped Tour, only to begin a romance with band member A.
(a) Also the variant- Being in a band, and you are 'discovered' by BVB, who decide to take you on tour with them.
3- Boning your teacher.
4- Anything in high school. Keep in mind the members of BVB will soon all be in their 30s.
5- Bridecest.
6- hot topic -a
7- fucking any pregnancy, dude. yuck. -a
8- The protagonist was in a relationship with band member A in high school, then one or the other of them went away somewhere, now s/he has returned, and they rekindle their relationship.
*Note- especially slimy if the chick was pregnant and never told band member A, so they have a kid together.
9- The protagonist is bullied by a whole band, especially band member A. Naturally, he does it because he wants to bone her, and eventually, he does, which makes a whole lot of sense.
Tropisms I find distasteful:
1- Being adopted by someone, then proceeding to enter into a relationship with them.
2- Being a step-daughter or step-sibling of band member A, then starting a relationship with them.
3- Unplanned pregnancy.
4- Lack of condom use or other equivalent.
5- The female protagonist needing 'saving' by band member A.
6- when the story is set in the present, but the band members are told as still being with former partners (e.g., Jake & Ella, Jinxx & Sammi, etc.) -a
Tropisms that are offensive/unethical:
1- Sex between an underage child and an adult, in any situation.
2- Blood relative incest.
3- Sensationalized rape, abuse, or mental health problems.
4- Juliet as an evil villain. -a
Notes
Keep in mind that your story is a reflection of how you feel about whoever you are fictionalizing. Do you really want to tell a story in which band member A is so stupid, he doesn't use condoms? In which your female protagonist is a psychic vampire that is incapable of caring for herself?
I challenge you to come up with something truly creative, rather than trying to sensationalize what, at it's heart, is an overdone and under-thought plot.
you sound like such an egotistical narcissist, hahaha! -a
There's a reason for that, man! -SP

You can't on this platform. Any chapter you post on this site will always become the next chapter in the story. To my knowledge, you are unable to rearrange them, and that's unlikely to change, as this site is abandoned by the designer (thus all the technical problems). If you are wanting to re-post chapters in order, you will either need to take down every chapter after the one you want to insert, then repost them after posting it, OR you could tack on the missing chapter to the end of the chapter before it, if your browser will allow chapter editing (some will not).
I'm also on Wattpad, and that platform has the capability to rearrange chapters.
Best of luck!
