I'd Die For You

*Andy's POV*

I was wondering what was taking Roku and Chris so long to get back to the house. I was looking around and see that Jake, Jinxx, Alice and Ella were all asleep by now. Ashley and Jess were on their phones watching videos, Cambria was sitting next to me because she to was worry about Roku and hope nothing bad happen to them. "Maybe we should go out and check to make sure they aren't laying outside somewhere..." I looked at her, I really wanted to go check.

"First off, you know Roku isn't a push over. She would have called us all if they were in trouble. Maybe her and Chris hooked up or he could have trick her into staying with him tonight." She smirked and though that they seem more close the the rest of us realized.

"I don't know, you know James friends live on this block. I don't want them to get hurt." Just then the door open and they came walking in. Though Chris didn't look so good and was in a lot of pain. "What the fuck happen????"

"Long story short, his mom is a drunk bitch and beat the shit out of him." I could see Chris wasn't looking at me or anyone for that matter. Roku help him to the sofa before putting his bags down. Chris just lay on the sofa, facing away from all of us. Something told me there was more to this story we didn't know. "She came up when we were about ready to leave and beat the living shit out of him for going out with us tonight. Even though he got the okay from his dad. I never seen a mother do that to a kid before. She kept punching and kicking him after he was already down....." Roku looked over at him. "There is a lot to the story, he's just not ready to talk about it yet. We all need to be open with each other once again if we want him to open up more." I looked over at Chris, he was fast asleep, it seems that he was just up to make it here and sleep from whatever he had before he came here.

"Is he okay other then getting a beaten?" I looked at her and she nodded.

"I found some of his old hospital medicine for the pain in his ribs, so he's out cold probably for the rest of the night. But she was really out to hurt him. I mean I know my dad use to beat my ass but not as bad as what his mom did. Sarah told me that's only little of what he gets." She sighs and walked over to Ashley and Jess to watch videos. I looked at Cambria wondering what to do now.

"He will talk to us when he's ready to. But we have to think about what we are going to do to get him to open up. We all have dark sides, past that we don't want to bring up. But we are going to have to share them at time point. Well you boys are, us girls don't have to explain ourselves because he seems pertty open to us about things and whatever we want to find out, we can ask Roku." She smirked at me and I just shake my head, and this is the girl I fell in love with.

"You better be glad I love you, because not a lot of guys would put up with you." I smirked more but got punched in the arm.

"Watch yourself, I'm not afraid to kick your ass." She glared at me but it wasn't a really mean glare. I know what it's like when she wants to kill someone, she loves me too much to do that. I walked over to the desk where I been writing and she walked over with me. I was working on a song, something for her and she knew it. "When are you going to finish this song?"

"I don't know, I'm still trying to think of the perfect words for it. So far all I can come up with is the first part. 'I cannot hide what's on my mind, I feel it burning deep inside, a passion crime to take what's mine, let us start living for today.' It's all I know right now. There is another song I been working on too but you will have to way to here that one later. If we can get Chris to play drums for us. We can get into gigs and you will here that song." I smirked at her and kissed her before trying to think of more lines for this song, but when I couldn't think of anymore. I decided to call it a night. Tomorrow morning, we had a lot plan, one, find out from Chris what happen, two see if we can get him to join the band that we been working on and three figure out what we are going to do about James and them. I looked around to see that Jess and Roku passed out asleep next to Ashley and had to laugh because they were cousins, much like how me and Joe were. I turned out the lights and then went over to Cambria falling asleep.

In the morning, the sun light up the room and woke me up. I had to pick the sofa bed that was always hit by the sun. I looked around to see everyone was asleep yet and I walked around making sure all was okay. I needed to see if my parents were up and so I headed upstairs. Being Saturday morning I know they didn't have work. It seem like it would have been a while until everyone woke up. "Morning mom and dad...." I smiled and just sit down. I know they were going to ask if my friends were up.

"Morning Andy, when did you and your friends get home last night? We didn't even hear you kids come in." My parents were cool with my friends. They could always come over if they wanted to.

"It was about 10 when we got in." I was thinking maybe I should talk to them about what happen with Chris last night. Something told me that his mom wasn't a nice woman that she claims to be in front of everyone else. I had a feeling that Chris would have got it worse if she knew that Roku was there hiding. "Mom, dad....can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" I had them both looking at me know. I know it was tell them now while everyone was asleep or risk Chris hating me for telling them this.

"So, Chris went over to his house before we all calm down for the night and well." I thought a bit how to tell them but just sighed. "I think something more is going on in Chris house then we know. Roku came back, holding him up and when she did let him go, he just went right asleep. Roku said that his mom really hurt him, that she came into the room and beat the shit out of him for going out with us. I don't know who that woman is but it's clearly not safe for him to be there. Can't we do anything?" I just looked at them and they looked at each other.

"Well we can, but he will have to be willing to do so and get at least one of his parents to say he's allow to. But we can have him come here with us. Or if his mom is in the bad mood, he can spend the day or night here. We really can't do anything unless he's up for it. You do know that. If we keep him here it will be nothing more then kidnap or something along them lines." My dad was right and I needed to wait and see what Chris wanted.

"Well we don't even know the full story yet. Roku said that there is a lot that he needs to tell us but it would be better if we all open up to him in hope that he will open up with us. Right now he's not even talking to anyone since he came back." I walked back to the door to go back to the family room.

"Give it time, you wouldn't talk to any of them until they prove to you that they were the good guys. You have to think Andy, not everyone have loving parents. Some kids have a lot more issues then you do. You have bullies, not parents that hate you and want to beat you. It's different." My parents went to the living room and just stay there. I walked back down to my friends.

When I got back there, no one was awake yet. So I I decide to work on some more songs. I had a list of 50 songs I been working on, each one not even close to fisih. Ashley said he would help with some of them, but mostly I was just working on the ones that only I could do alone. After a hour or two, everyone was starting to wake up, though Chris was the only one that didn't move at all. I was beginning to worry about him.

The first ones up were Ashley, Roku and Jess. They were talking softly to not wake up the others. They were watching videos again and Jess was cuddling up close to Ashley and Roku every now and then check to see if Chris was even still alive over there. He hasn't move from his spot since he got there. Still facing the back of the sofa and curl up into a ball. I nearly jumped out of my skin when Cambria came up behind me and hugged me from behind. She was looking over my shoulder to see some of the songs I was working on. I smiled at her before putting the pen down.

"Why you stopping? You can finish them, most of them are done or soon." She smiles at me and I just pulled her into a hug and hold her, smirking when she tried to get up and I wouldn't let her move away from me.

"Maybe I just don't want to work on them anymore because I'm not the only one awake anymore. It will only be a matter of minutes for the others to wake up." I smile and she just sighed, there was no getting out of my long ass arms. Being tall ruled and I over powered everyone.

"And if you don't let me go, I'm going to have to kick your ass...." She smirked and I knew she would do it too, so I had to let go.

"Fine, I guess it's time for today plans. I have no idea what we are going to do today, but I'll think of something." I looked at her and smile before looking around to see everyone but Chris getting up now. I was a little worry and move over to check up on him and try to wake him up. He jumped out of his skin, I scared him so bad and he just rolled over and looked at me like he was in fear, like someone was trying to murder him. "Hey, it's okay Chris...."

"Sorry Andy, just had a really bad dream or flash back." He sit up and was looking around. Everyone was staring at him and he looked to the floor. "Maybe I should go home you guys. I need to get some things worked out on." He went to get up but I stopped him.

"You don't have to leave, you're welcome here as much as everyone else is allow here. I don't know what happen last night, I don't know what has you so scared and fearing out right now. But you really need to just stay here with us. I can't force you but we are your friends Chris, you know that we will always be here for you." He didn't looke up, but what came out of his mouth worry me even more.

"You all don't get it, there is a reason we left LA, there is a story that I'm so not ready or willing to tell any of you. It haunts me in my dreams and it haunts me in the day when I'm fucking awake." He stand up and just looked at all of us. He eyes were angry, his body shaking from being so mad. "I just need to go home. I shouldn't have came out last night." He turned and walked toward the stairs. Roku was the one to move.

"Christian.....please, just stay..." She was holding on to his arm and he froze and looked down.
"I want to, I really want to. But they are friends with James. They don't like me and they will come here to make sure that my life is fucked up. Maybe I'll tell you guys sometime, but right now just stay the hell away from me." He pulled his arm away from Roku before walking up the stairs with his stuff and walking out of the house and probably back to his house. Something told me, Chris had something even darker then we thought.

"I don't get it, he was fine last night...." Roku sounded so broken and Cambria went over and hugged her. I was still in shock on what just happen.

"He looked like someone was out to kill him or something. Should we really be leaving him alone?" I looked over at Jake and the others before sighing.

"We do as he ask us to. If he wants our help, if he wants to come to us. Then we do it. He clearly wants to be alone right now. He don't want us around and whatever he was talking about was something back. I sensed that coming off that it make him scare and angry, unless we talk to his dad or sister. We are not going to find anything out. We will wait until school because I have a feeling he's not going to be hanging out with us, which is gong to really get his ass kicked because he hit James last night...." I just sit back down trying to think of what to do.
We all agree that we should stop trying to get him to talk and open up to us. It was clear that it only was pushing him away. We needed to let him come to us, it could take a month, year or forever. But we needed him to come to us. Not the other way around. Something told me he had a dark side. Them friends back in Cali must have fucked him up more then just that. The fact he said that they were friends with James. Something told me, even running from whatever it was, it will follow him here and he wasn't about to put any of us in danger.

A/N: So yeah, I just decided to make this become even more darker then I wanted to. There is even a biggest issue then just his mom. What happen in LA? Why did he have to move? What will happen? And What is his warning for his friends? Guess you just have to read more.
