"What do you want to talk about?" I ask Ashley as we reach the boardwalk. We sit on one of the benchs and he turns to me.
"Well... Brit... I-I... I-I really l-like you..." He whispers shyly and I gasp. Did he? Woah... Could I... no I shouldn't I really shouldn't, then suddenly he has my arm in his hand. Shit-shit-shit-shit... I thought I covered them up good enough... I thought I had my scabs covered up well enough.
"What is this?" He asks and I pull away but again he pulls me towards him.
"Darling don't do this... this isn't the how you should deal with things. Come talk to me, ok?" He whispers and I nod slowly before looking out across the water at the perfect blood red sunset. I smile and turn back to him, I do something I never thought I would do. I kiss him. He gasps shocked and wraps an arm around my waist. I hear a whistle and pull away looking up to see Andy and CC.
"Oh shut it!" I growl and they just chuckle.
"So how'd it go?" Ashley asks them and they smile.
"It went well really well..." CC whispers and I giggle. They do make a cute couple... they really do.
