Chapter 13
Skylar’s P.O.V


“So? Finally together?” Ashley laugh a little to himself as he leaned against the wall looking at us.
“Y-yeah.” I shudder slightly, I glanced up at Andy, he just smiled and pulled me closer to him.
“Thats good, I guess.” Ashley shrugged, looked around the room for a minute before going back to the bunks.
I sighed leaning against Andy as he put his arm around me move. I felt nice to just sit here, and not talk but there was so much to say. Though it was getting late, and I was tried.
“Hey, I think I’m gonna go to sleep.” I whispered up to Andy, he looked down at smiled a little before it was replaced with a frown. “What?” I asked.
He smiled again, “It just sucks that the bucks are so small.” he said looking in my eyes, “I can’t sleep with you.” He frowned a little again, before leaning down and pressing his lips against mine. This time we weren’t interrupted!
“Finally.” we both breathed as we pulled away.i I laughed a little before slowly pulling away more, “Can I sleep now?” I asked looking up at him.
He sighed, “I guess.” he smiled as I got up, and went back to his buck. I didn’t change, I didn’t mind sleeping in jeans. As I got into the bed, I rolled around a while before pulling the blanket up, making it covering above my thighs. I laid there for a while, either staring straight at the wall or the back of my eyes lids. I couldn’t sleep. I wasn’t sure why. Everything was fine, I didn’t really have anything on my mind, only the fact that me and Andy finally, really sured a kiss.
I smiled, and closed my eyes really trying sleep this time.


“Skye! It’s so great to see you.” he said coming up to me, he didn’t seem really happy to me, he didn’t even seem sure if he liked me or wanted me here.
“Really?” I asked I was unsure of what his problem with me was. I didn’t do anything to hurt him, he started it.
“Sure, but I didn’t think you’d still be around.” He said leaning his head to the side a bit. “I was sure the next time I’d see you would be your funeral.” He shrugged at little as he said it but then he smiled. “What are you still doing alive?” He asked, I was takin back by his question. Why would he ask that?
“What do you mean?” I asked, I didn’t want him to start this.
“Come on, Skye? Are you serious?” He asked.
I looked at him confused, did he want me to be dead? But I thought he liked me?
“Why do you want me dead so badly?” I asked giving him a confused and angry look.
“Because your not yourself anymore. I don’t like you anymore, Sky.” The boy said to me, it hurt. It hurt like before, when I was in school.
“But…”
“Theres no if, or buts, or what's about this Sky. No one likes you anymore. I mean why would they? You might as well die.” He asked me, like I would know.
“No…. t-thats not true.” I said to him.
“Oh but it is, worthless b*tch.” He said stepping closer to me.
“No! You're lying.” I yelled at him, he only laughed.


“Skye! Skylar! Wake up.” I rolled over, rubbing my eyes, to come face to face with Andy and Ashley. I looked up at them question, then remembered my dreams more, why would he say that? I asked myself as I looked back up at them.
“Are you okay?” Andy had a concerned look on his face as Ashley moved away and he stepped closer to me.
“I don’t know.” I said laying on my side and glanced up at him.
He smiled down at me, “Did you have a bad dream?” He asked searching my eyes, I nodded, while I got out of the buck. He helped me a bit and we went back to where he had been sleeping. He sat me down before getting me a bottle of water and sitting next while handing it over.
“What was it about?” He asked as I opened the bottle and took a drink.
I swallowed and looked up at him, “Um...I was being bullied.” I said looking up at him, he gave me a weird look.
“Was it from me?” He asked, I smiled and shook my head, I was glad it wasn’t him being mean. Even if I was a dreams it hurt, I know I would have been a dream but I don’t think I could look at him the same way.
“No.” I said reassuring him.
“Thank god.” He said looking up at the ceiling before back at me, “Mind telling me what it was about?” he asked as he pushed some of my hair from my face. I felt myself blush a little, just a the slight touch, I could hear him laugh to himself.
“My cousin.” I said looking up at him, “He...he was like bullying me.” I said before taking another long drink from me water, “He pretty much told me to die, and ask why I was alive. I mean sure it was just a dream, but now thinking about it, its bringing stuff up. Stuff from school I’ve tried forgetting about.” I said pulling my legs up on the couch, so I could rest my chin on my knees.
“It’s alright, Skye.” Andy said pulling me into him, I was still in the same postistion, I didn’t even try moving to hug him. “You’ll be fine,” He whispered in my ear.
“But what if thats what he tries next? What if he like bullies me or something?” I asked, looking up at Andy. “I don’t want to go back to that. I finally got out of school because of it. It was another reason why I haven’t gone to college.” I cried to him, he just listen to me and rubbed my back. “What if he starts it all again?” I asked, Andy pulled away some, enought to look me in the eyes.
“I won't let him hurt you.” Andy said searching my eyes.
“But people say that all the time, Andy.” I said looking at him, he just sighed pulling me closer to him, making me move some so I was laying on him and the couch. He started whispering, singing one of my favorite songs by him to me.
“I like it.” I whispered to him, as he continued Sweet Blasphemy as I thought , I wonder if he talked to Danny.
Soon I fell asleep thought I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be my last nightmare.
