I'll kil you in time

Andy presses a button on a intercom thing that is outside a building that his band is practicing at. He says some wired stencet into it. I look at him like did you really just say that. “We have a password thing to get into the building until the locks get fixed. Our number pad isn’t working right now, so we all have a password we have to say to get into the building.”

“Oh. That’s smart and I don’t think anyone would even think of what you just said as a password.” I hear a click them Andy opens the door holding it, letting me go in first. Once inside the building I look around the main office part seeing different band posters on the walls. Andy grabs my attention so I can follow him wherever the band is right now. He leads me to a sound recording room. The room is quite big there is a big black sofa in the corner with a coffee table by it sheet music is scattered on the table. Jake and Jinxx are sitting on the sofa looking at some of the sheet music, going over it. There are a couple of bookshelves with different books and objects on them. Some of the walls have gold, shivle, or brounds records on them. There is another room attached to this room where Ashley is playing some cords. I’m guessing that the recording room I’ve never really seen the lay out of a recording studio. CC is sitting in a chair in front of some equipment, I’m going to guess that is what is used to record the music. Andy clears his throat getting the attention of Jake and Jinxx. CC and Ashley both have headphones on so they can’t hear us. Jake and Jinxx comes up to us. I notice Ashley look up from what he is doing and waves at CC to turn around. Ashley sets his bass down and come out of the room over to us CC following him. I start to get a little nervous so I step closer to Andy.

Once everyone is by us Andy says “Ashley, Jake this Lux. Lux this is Ashley.” he says pointing to a guy with long dark brown almost black hair. His wearing a black tank top and jeans, his not wearing shoes but it wearing white socks. “And this is Jake.” he says wall pointing to a guy with black a little bit shorter hair than Ashley’s. He's wearing a black shirt with a skull design on it and jeans. Unlike Ashley's he is wearing soues. Jake gives me a sofft smile and Ashley flashes me a smirk. I’m guessing Ashley is a player with the girls or guys. I wouldn’t be surprised if he swings both ways. Jake seems like the croperted type of person loves his work and most likely puts it on the same level as he’s family. He doesn't seem to be the player type of person. Ashley is the only one that gives me a player type of vibe but Jinxx gives me I used to be a player vibe.

“Hey.” I say to no one in particular.

“What are you guys working on?” says Andy.

“Me and CC are tracking the bass lines for two of the new songs.” says Ashley.

“Jake and I are going over the guitar parts to figure out who is playing what.” says Jinxx.

“Do you need any vocal tracks yet?” say Andy.

“No but we do need you to finish up the last few songs.” says CC.

“I’ll get write on it.” he pauses for a minute and then says “get it write on it.”

“Yes Andy not very funny.” says Jake.

“At least I tried.” says Andy.

“I hope you have better jokes than that.” I say.

“My life is funner than my jokes most of the time.”

“Really you’ll have to tell me something sometime.”

“I got a few always up in hand.”

“Andy don’t start on one of your tangents.” says Jinxx. Andy gives him a childish pouding look. Jinxx dismiss it and goes back to the sofa with Jake. Andy for some reason decides to sit on the floor by the sofa after grabbing a notebook and pen.

Sometime pases the guys are still working on there new songs. I did listen to it at first but it started getting repetitive after a while. They would play then talk about it or they would go track and when they track they have it to where only the person that has the headphone on can hear so the others can practice or write their parts. Andy let me get on Youtube on his phone sometime ago. I guess he saw that I was getting bored. I decide to listen to some of their music to hear in complication of what they sound like. I have listened to about two full albums. I like it, they are pretty good. I start to hum along to the songs my surardings fading around me. My surroundings start to turn to a dark forest. I get up from the sofa starting to slowly move along to the beat until I’m full on dancing around. When the next song begins to play I recognize it. I start to sing along, feeling the song overtake me. I trip over something thinking I was really in the forest. I fall backwards remembering something. I’m running through a forest my hand being held by someone pulling me fast than I can run. One headphone in hearing this song. I feel someone’s strong arms around me. Giving heat to my unusually cold body. I blink seeing CC holding me. I start to blush from embarrassment. “Umm….Sorry.” He lets go of me standing me back up.

“It’s fine you should be more careful next time.” says CC.

“Who saw that?”

“Only me and Ashley. Jake and Jinxx are recording and Andy is listening to them.”

“Did you guys see the whole thing?”

“No we started hearing you move around and that’s when we looked up.”

“You’re a good singer and dance. You should let Andy hear.”

“No no I’m good.”

“Really you are amazing. You guys could make a really good duate.” says Ashley.

I start to feel overheated. I cross my left arm over my torso having my right hand grab my left elbow. I start to look at the floor and say “Maybe. I’ll have to think about it.”

CC grabs my chin in a firm grip having me look up to him. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to. It’s just you have a wonderful voice and I think your voucies would match really well together. It’s just a thought.”

CC release me and I say “I’ll think about it. I normally don’t sing in front of people. I kind of lost where I was at in the moment.”

“Don’t worry we all do that. One time I did that wall we were performing a concert. I was playing the song I was supposed to play next thing I know I’m playing whatever comes to my mind. I didn’t even realize until after the song was over and Andy said “I have no idea what CC was playing but it sounded pretty good together.” I was super embarrassed. But hey I got over.”

CC, Ashley, and I started talking about random things wall Andy, Jake, and Jinxx continued to record. Ashley started to play one of there songs and I couldn’t help it I started singing along to it. I harmonized on a few parts on others I just sang it how I would sing it. I hear a claping come from behind me. I look around seeing Andy, Jake, and Jinxx looking at me with smiles on there face. “We could just kick Andy out and replace him with you.” says Jinxx.

“What!?” says Andy. “She has amazing voice and all but you would do that to me?” Andy say with childish pout and wine.

“No. We wouldn’t.”

“Thank god. I was really thinking you would actually do it.”

“The fans would have a up roar if we did anyway.”

“And there would be less girls at the shows.” says Ashley.

“I was right you are a playboy.” I think. They all start to laugh. “What?”

“We have heard of Ashley being a womanizer but not a playboy.” says Jake.

“I said that out loud?” I say with a mortified look.

“Yep. Don’t worry everyone including him knows these.” says Jinxx.
