“Can you refill this?” The bass player of The Unitards shoved an empty water bottle toward Bugatti’s hand during football practice after school.

“I’m not the water girl.” Bugatti let the bottle drop.

Angrily, the bass player told her there was no water person and that her title of equipment manager covered hydration coordinating.

Bugatti told him to manage his attitude and threw his bottle in the trash bin, which resulted in what the coach of the team called ‘an infraction’.

“You can’t infract me, I’m not on the team.” Bugatti argued.

“You’re one of the most important people on this team, you’re a member of management and it’s your job to get your team members whatever they require.” Coach Bananajulius lectured.

“If I’m so important, why do I have to get their water?” Bugatti was already done with the team, why not push a little further?

“H20 Balance Management & Retrieval is one of the most important positions on this team, Bugatti.” Coach Bananajulius sighed.

“I’m just not cut out for this. I can tell.” Bugatti trolled, she’d already filled three water bottles for guys that were just sitting on the benches. “I mean it takes forever for the water bottles to fill in these tiny toilet tanks.” She continued in her best Lucille Ball impersonation voice.

“WHAT?!” Jon cried from the sidelines.

The coach’s face became grave.

“There has to be a better way.” She placed her hands on her hips and sighed. “I’m sorry coach. I should get back to work.” She reached for the water bottle in the bass player’s hand.

“Uhhhh, I’m good thanks.” He gripped his bottle tightly.

Bugatti sighed.

“Miss Sars you’re dismissed for today.” Coach Bananajulius stated.

“Okay!” She smiled. “See you tomorrow!” She chimed. They wouldn’t see her tomorrow. No bass player is worth this.
