Chapter Two
~Ava's P.O.V~
I woke up, excited as ever. I looked at my phone and squealed with delight. Black Veil Brides would be coming out with their new album, Set The World On Fire, tomorrow. I would be able to get it before the store opens in the morning since I work there. I quickly hopped out of bed and made my way towards my dresser. I grabbed a Escape The Fate shirt along with a pair of skinny jeans, black undergarments, and black socks. I got into my bathroom and stripped so I could take a nice, long shower. Just as I was about to get in the shower, my phone buzzed. I looked at it and saw my co-worker, Jesse, was calling me.
"Hello?"
"Ava, I've got big news!"
"Well, what is it? You kinda caught me in the middle of something."
"Oh, is it kinky?" He asked seductively.
"N-No! I'm just trying to get in the shower!"
"That's sexy."
"W-Will you just tell me what you wanted?!" I asked heatedly, my face turning bright red.
"Oh, yeah. Anyway, that band you like, Black Veil Brides, are coming to our store tomorrow for
the release of their CD!"
"W-WHAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING?! YOU BETTER NOT BE PULLING A PRANK ON ME, JESSE!"
"Nope. No pranks. They are coming to our store tomorrow! How awesome is that?!"
I began squealing and jumping around the bathroom. All I heard was Jesse's laughter on the other end.
"Ha ha, I bet you're jumping around naked right now, aren't you?"
"P-PERVERT!"
"That's my name, baby. Scream it out loud."
"I-I gotta go!"
I quickly hung up before he could make anymore perverted remarks. My heart was exploding with joy and excitement. I would get to meet the best band of all time! I couldn't wait!
The day went by fast and, before I knew it, it was night time. I closed up the shop and headed out of the mall. I stopped at Spencer's to see my friend, Kai, before leaving.
"Yo, Kai!"
"What's up?" He yelled while emerging from the back.
"Did you hear the great news?"
"Aww, sweetie, did you finally finish maturing? Good for you!"
"Weirdo, no! Black Veil Brides is coming to MY store tomorrow! My favorite band is coming to MY store!"
He gave me a side hug and chuckled.
"Good for you, Ava!"
We talked for ten minutes before I bailed. I rushed home as fast as I could so I go to sleep. When I got home, I accidentally knocked over a picture. I stooped down to pick it up and looked at it. I smiled slightly as I gazed at the picture. It was a picture from my graduation with my best friend. I gently placed the photo back on the table and looked out the window at the night sky. I sighed, remembering all the times my best friend, CC, and I would gaze upon the moon, talking for hours on end. I desperately wanted to know what happened to him. Did he ever make it as a drummer? Does he remember me at all? How has his life been all these years?
I walked away from the window sill and walked to my room. I changed into my batman tank top and a black pair of shorts. I crawled under the covers and fell asleep while thinking of CC.
~CC's P.O.V~
I smiled brightly and cheered once I found out where the first CD signing was going to be. We were going to be in my old hometown! I couldn't wait to see how much everything changed. I especially couldn't wait to see Ava again. I looked out the window at the moon and chuckled softly. Knowing Ava, wherever she was, she was looking at this moon, too, thinking of us.
