Love Isn't Always Fair

"We are the fallen angels!"

The concert went out with a bang as we finished Fallen Angels. The fans went nuts as we made our way off the stage to get to the meet and greet. We went through many fans, all of which were very pleased and excited to meet us, but very chill at the same time. I looked down at the paper that was passed to me and began signing it. I passed it to Andy and looked up at the fan. All I was met with were a pair of stunning, icy, crystal clear eyes. I stared into her eyes as if I couldn't look away. She giggled and held out her hand to me.

"My name is Evelyn."

"O-Oh, that's a nice name," I stuttered as smooth as possible.

She only giggled more and took the picture from Andy. She thanked us and waved to us as she walked away. I watched her until she was out of sight, which earned me a nudge from Jinxx. I looked over at him and saw him handing me another picture to sign.

"Hey, you alright?" He whispered.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. When am I not?"

He gave me another concerned look before turning his attention back to the fan. For the rest of the meet and great, I tried to remain focused and keep my attention on the fans, but I couldn't get that one girl out of my head.

Evelyn...

Her voice was as smooth as silk, her hair as unique as Yin and Yang, her eyes as captivating as a sunset, as well as...

Shattered. How couldn't I see it before? Behind those beautiful, glossy, fragile eyes is a broken soul. She was hiding something, and using her eyes as cover. But, what? And was she safe? How would I ever know if I wasn't ever going to see her again?

I sighed, knowing that I would probably never get a chance to have these questions answered. The more I thought about these feelings, the more they kinda made sense. I fell in love with this girl without knowing anything about her. And, now, my heart's being ripped in two because I'll never see her again....

Man... I guess love isn't always fair.
