Need My Saviour
Chapter Three
She looked out the window and hummed quietly to the music. I pulled up into the driveway and got out of the car. I opened her door and helped her out. She looked at the house and gasped.
"W-Wow. It's so... huge."
"Ha ha, yeah."
She followed behind me into the house. The guys appeared from the recording studio to greet me. They looked at Jade, who gripped onto my shirt and concealed herself behind me. I put a hand on hers and whispered to her.
"Don't worry. The guys won't hurt you. They'll protect you, like me."
She relaxed her grip on my shirt and slowly peeked over my shoulder. The guys smiled softly at her. She came out from behind me and stood next to me.
"H-Hi," she said quietly.
"Hey! Welcome to our home!" CC announced cheerfully.
Everyone said hi to her and welcomed her. CC ran up and hugged her, which took her by surprise. She hugged him back and he smiled brightly at her.
"Hey, come with us! We'll show you to your room!"
He held out his hand to her and she looked up at me. I smiled and nodded. She took his hand and CC ran up the stairs, dragging her along. Ashley and Jake followed, leaving Andy and I alone. He looked up at me with serious eyes.
"Jinxx, I know you wouldn't bring her here without a good reason. Especially if you don't know her, which I know you don't."
"You're right. I don't know her, and I do have a good reason. But, you've gotta keep this from the rest of the guys, at least until she's comfortable enough to tell them. Agreed?"
He nodded his head and I began explaining everything to him. How I met her, what happened with her father, everything. I stopped when I heard a scream from upstairs. Andy and I sprinted upstairs to the room everyone was in. My heart was pounding hard when I swung the door open. Everyone looked over at me as I watched Jade giggle hysterically with CC tickling her. I sighed out of relief as I slumped against the door frame. Jade was to the point of tears when CC finally stopped. She looked over at me and smiled. Not some fake smile, a beautiful, genuine smile. I felt myself smile back at her. She got up off the bed and bowed slightly to all of us.
"Thank you, so much, for taking me in. I feel a little bad, though... Aren't you busy with making a new album?"
"Don't feel bad. We're not too busy to refuse to help someone," Jake replied with a warm smile.
"Yeah! If we can afford to party and get drunk, then we can afford to help you out," Ashley said.
She laughed slightly and looked at Andy. He walked over to her and gave her a hug.
"Welcome home, Jade. You stay as long as you want."
Her eyes were wide as he said that. She closed them and smiled, hugging him back.
"Thank you."
