Hey Its Me
“This is Sarah she was looking for cheap crappy places to live so I took her to my place” He laughed and everyone did to.
“Jake circle super-secret band meeting” Ash and C-C said in unison.
“Jinx!” They both yelled.
“What?” Jinx looked at them. They were talking barely bellow a whisper and I couldn’t hear but Jake was more red than a tomato that it would be jealous.
“Sarah and Jake switch spots so she is in the circle now” Andy commanded and we did so.
“Sarah we think that Jake might have a little crush” They whispered.
“Who?” I asked kind of sad knowing it wasn’t me. I have to admit I fell for him and it wasn’t my fault he tripped me!
“You” They all said in unison.
“Jinx!” Ash and C-C yelled.
“God dang it what?!” Jinx yelled. We all laughed.
“No he couldn’t love me why would he?” I sadly questioned.
“Well he specifically said and I quote ‘She is so beautiful like just look at her and the way her smile lights up the room and she is so kind and gentle hearted’ so I think he loves you for you” Ash smiled.
“Okay maybe I do to but the thing is how could you love someone who doesn’t even love herself?” I sighed.
“Shut up and sit and listen to us play and wait for it” Jake intervened. I blushed and all the guys looked like a five year old who got caught talking about cooties. That’s what I did and listened to them and saw Jake mouth the words. Can I take you on a date?
“Yes” I mouthed back. So I decided to write in my journal that I had in my bag.
Okay Jake Pitts asked me on a date and that’s scary! What if I end up like the girls he absolutely hates to the core? Okay journal maybe I’m thinking to negative I need to think positive! Yeah Jake Pitts asked me to go on a date with him!
I put my journal back in my bag and carefully listened. About an hour later they were done. I was really happy because one I got hear them live and practice and two me and Jake really needed to talk. We made it in to the car without millions of questions. Once we got inside though that’s where it happened.
“Jake do you seriously love me?” I asked as if he was going to laugh and say no and say it was all a joke.
“Actually I do but, to be honest I never felt this attraction to anyone not even my wife who I completely loved but compared to you it feels like a hated her compared to these feelings” He sighed and looked at me we didn’t even start the car yet.
“But there are so many girls out there that are way better than me I’m a mess proven last night Jake” I was about to cry for real.
“Sarah please don’t say that you are amazing in my eyes” He looked in my eyes I felt like I was going to melt.
“But Ja-“He kissed me and cut me off. I didn’t know what to do but kiss back and deepen the kiss. That kiss ended being a make out session. I wrapped my arms around his neck and became a deep red and so did he. About two minutes later he came for air and looked at me and smiled.
“So how about that date” He looked in my eyes. How could I say no to that face that I kind of just ate? Well that’s gross the way I put that.
“Yeah I will but I don’t know why see at as a date because I would say yes right now to being your girlfriend and I thought of this as a date to be honest.” I blushed.
“You would say yes?” He tilted his head to the right.
“Yeah but that’s if you would ask…” I smiled.
“Well then will you be my girlfriend?” He smiled.
“No sorry don’t feel that way.” I laughed.
“Aw then I guess it was worth the shot…” He thought I was serious!
“I’m kidding Jake gosh!” I laughed.
“I know” He smiled. Wow this moving was maybe the best idea I have ever had. Great thinking Sarah love ya for it!
