I made it a long time. Too long. I escaped my home and ran like a coward. Tried to find my lover. I was lucky to succeed before the sickness started to spread. The sickness of the mind. It drove you insane until you were literally just an empty shell. The only voice who could reach you was hers.
My dad caught it first. Then my sisters. My mom was the last one. The demons invaded our home and took everyone away from me. Not just me.

Smoldering embers were all that were left. The flames died and I was alone. Just like that. My mind and the voices inside of it was all I had. It was lonely. My angel wasn’t very talkative. I didn’t mind.
I was used to being alone.
