The new girl

I hear the bell ring and we make our way to our first period. Science...I swear if people stare at me. I hate it when people look at me like I'm some kind of unknown creature they discovered. I walk in not sure where to sit. "Come sit near us !" Emily calls and smiles. Emily sits with her boyfriend max,and Amanda sits with Casper. Wait then doesn't that mean I have to sit with-. I look st the last science station and see no other then Andy. This is going to be awkward. I walk over and sit next to him and he doesn't even look at me he just looks down at his hands. "H-hey" I say awkwardly and he doesn't reply. " Andy say hi !" Amanda whisper shouts in an annoyed mother voice (lol that's the best way I could duscribe it ). " Hi..." he mutters and doesn't bother to look at me. Wow..did I do something or is he just being a dick? I ignore it and look at the teacher as he walks into the class room. "Hello class. I believe we have a new student today..er, miss..Alexis Legacy. " He says and looks at me smiling. I just sit there and he soon clears his theist and says. "Well anyway, today I want you and your partner to copy notes together from your text book page 575. " Great...fucking great my luck is right now. I notice Andy is looking at me from the corner of my eye and look over and he looks back down. He opens his textbook and notebook and looks at me his eyebrow raised. "Well?" He says. Damn, his voice is deep..I can only tell now cause he spoke higher then a murmmer and even then I kinda noticed but I didn't expect it to be like that. " Oh ya sorry ." I say and open my notebook and textbook. We work on notes and and don't speak much and when we do it's awkward and uncomfortable.

After class...

so I've sat with Andy all of my periods except for 2 because Amanda noticed that I was a bit unconforable. We walk out of school and Amanda grabs my arm and pulls me aside. " Alex..I'm sorry about Andy..he's really not that bad he just doesn't talk to many people he's just kinda shy around you I think." She says and smiles. " Alit of people are scared of him cause he killed his father... I mean his father abused his mom and him and his sister and killed his sister. Andy wanted nothing more then to keep his mom and sister safe so when they went out one night and his dad was past our drunk, he set the house on fire and his father died, the police for some reason never got real deep into it because his father was smoking before he past out and the cigarette was on the couch and they thought that had somthing to do with it. " She said. " Oh my god that's terrible for Andy and his mom and sis I mean." I say and look at Andy sittting beside Casper. Our eyes meet for 5 seconds... it was chilling and I looked away. " He's not weird or anything well we all are weird but Wes a great guy once u get to know him. " she says and smiles. We walk over to the group and sit on the steps for a few minutes before I walk home. I got all their numbers except for Andy's. He seems really interesting... I mean not in a creepy way but I can't help but feel interested in something about him. I don't know. I walk inside my house and my mom is watching American horror story sitting on the couch. " Hey Alex how was school. " she says and hugs me. " Pretty good actually I met a group of friends like me." I say and smile knowing what she's going to say. " See I told you, I knew you would make friends. " I love my mom I'm so glad I have her.
