Silence

"Im sorry Mrs. Halen but tour daughter very well might lose her hearing if we sont treat her sooner!"
"No i dont need my daughter on any medicine! Shes had enough of this nonsense! We are leaving now!"
"Mrs. Halen! She needs it! Her Meningitis will get worse if it is not treated! Mrs. Halen? Mrs. Halen!"
Isolation. Silence. And Fear.
Living in the woods all alone...
Its not easy...
I mean come on even you should know that...
Wait maybe im getting ahead of myself here...
Uhm hi...
Im Erica and i have meningitis. It started at a baby but it was very small. My mom had done drugs and was an alcoholic but stopped after she became pregnant. Growing up as a kid i sometimes couldnt hear but it wasnt that bad. One point when i was a teenager we had gone out and i got lost. I couldnt hear anybody calling for me and i passed out. I woke in the hospital and seen my mom talking with the doctor. She was crting but i could bately here her cries. The doctor came to talk to me and told me about the meningitis. When i was farther down the line as a teenager i had hearing aids and was on a pill to try and help. It got so bad that the doctor wanted to put me on something more powerful. I guess you could say. When i was around 16-17 is when i had gone completely deaf.
So basically in the end it was my moms fault. I dont see her anymore and after i turned 19 i moved out. Eventually it turned into me living in the wokds agter i found a nice little house big enough for my cat and me. I rarely go outside and i have isolated myself from the world. Like i said i live in ghe woods by myself with my only family. My cat. My mom and dad are gone but i meep going on.
