Broken Wings

~CC'C P.O.V~
"Damn you can run fast!" I said to Cali.
She laughed, "Yea I suppose." She crossed he arms triumphantly.
I look at her, "How come you're not out of breath?" I was out of breath myself.
"I run a lot. I also may have cheated." She mumbled the last part under her breath.
"Huh!" I gasp, " Why would you do that to me." I whine.
"Because." Cali imitated me.
I crossed my arms, "Not cool Cali." I huffed.
"Cali?" Cali asked.
"Yea it's your nickname." I looked around for the guys.
She shivered, "It's new." She then looked up at the restaurant, "This is a really formal place."
"Well, yea. It's a five star restaurant." Waving the guys over I snickered, "We all have the best clothes for this dinner." Our clothes were torn up and black, band shirts and I was wearing my vest that said Destroyer on it.. All of us minus Andy had long hair that was layered. It was the best.
"What's so funny?" Ella said. She had on a pair of jeans and a nice button up shirt. Bet Jake's gonna have fun with that if ya know what I mean.
I waved, "Sup."
"Hello." Calico meekly said.
"Hi, who are you." Ella went up to her.
"I'm Calico Lian. Who I am is kinda difficult to explain." She trailed off. I was thinking, yes I do think, of a cover for her.
"Try me angel." Ella said.
Calico looked at her warily, "I don't know what you mean." She stated firmly.
"You are a Fallen no?" Ella looked at her closely.
"How do you know that?" Calico backed up slowly.
"Not hard to spot one if you are one."
Calico looked at her oddly, "Huh."
I got confused, "Guys please tell me what's going on."
"Well you met Calico." Jake popped up out of nowhere.
Ella looked at him, "You never told me there was another Fallen one." She crossed her arms and looked at the man with a hard look in her eyes. Looks like he might not get some tonight. I glance over at Cali and see that she is just as confused as me. Cali motions between the two and looks at me for an answer. I shrug. She lets out a sigh.
"Well doesn't look like I have to tell you now." Jake chuckles and scratches behind his head. You know what, I give up at trying to guess anything anymore.
"That explains it!" Andy said. Oh they arrived here to, "You weren't really shocked about Calico." That does explain it. The dude offered to carry her when we all didn't want to because finding an angel that just collapsed on you doesn't help hold off shock.
"Well now you know let's go in and eat. We could talk more over dinner." Jake said calmly. We all agreed and Ashley was the first one in there. Man I'm hungry.
~CALICO'C P.O.V~
That's new. I don't think I have ever met another Fallen One. And she seems nice. Bonus! I followed Ashley inside.
"Hello sir's, what can I do for you or are you lost?" The girl at the front sneered.
"Hi. Yes we'd like a table for seven." Jinxx stated with authority. Bet she wouldn't act that way if we dressed nicely, the only one here dressed nicely was Ella.
"Who do you think you are?" She asks.
"We are paying customers." I sneered. I learned how to be a dick from one of my friends Alice when she first came, "And unless you want me to tell your boss that you are refusing to attend to paying customers I'd get us a table." I glared. Two can play at this game.
She looked at me a bit, "Lemme see what we have available." She looked at this glowing tablet thing, "We have a table for eight available. If you'd follow me." She gabbed some menus and directed us to where we shall be sitting.
I sat next to Ashley and Andy. CC was on the side of Ashley and Jinxx was across him, Ella and Jake were sitting by Jinxx. The woman handed us our menus, and threw mine at me. Once she left CC broke out into a fit of laughter, "That was awesome!" He said in between laughs.
"How so?" I questioned.
"Did you see her face? Priceless!" He laughed.
"Dude it was!" Jinxx said with a wide smile on his face.
Ashley grinned, "Man you showed her was boss." He fist bumped CC and Jinxx.
I giggled, "Yea I guess you're right."
Ella coughed, "Hey Calico, what did you do to get cast down?"
"You tell me first."
"I helped a human, " She pointed to Jake, "and you know how He is about that." Jake grinned and held her close, Ella smiled.
"I was a trouble maker and overcrowding." I looked at the menu, "Oh this looks good." I pointed to flank steak.
"What is it?" Ashley looked over my shoulder, "It does, I'll have what your having, with a beer."
"I'll take a strawberry vodka." I said.
"Oh so fancy." He joked.
I sat up straight, "Why yes my good sir." He laughed and a different guy came over.
"What would you like for dinner tonight?" We all gave our orders and he left.
