Chantel can not believe this! She is sitting in a huge office with the head of Screaming Records watching the short video her traitor best friend posted.
"...cause baby I'm possessed."
"You are incredible young lady! How would you like to be professional?" says Dean, ceo of the company
"I, but that, I."
"Give us just one second..." Allen says while pulling Chantel into the hall
"Let go of me! How could you?" She screams
"ME! You are being offered a contract and a chance to be a star and you hesitate!? For what? You have talent, lots of people think so, have you not seen social media? Everyone is eating you up!" Allen screams at his best friend, hoping to get it through her head.
"I'm not..."
"Nope, hold that thought," he takes out his phone and calls someone, "Amy? Yes hi, please convince your girlfriend that she has talent and she should not pass up an opportunity to become a star!"
"I mean, yes she has talent and yes I'm proud of her, but it is her decision, not your's. Unless you were to help her form a band then she might have to listen a little."
"Brilliant! Chantel, say hello to your new guitar player."
"You play?" Amy asks from the phone
"He's played since he was a kid, but just like me he never showed his talent." Chantel explains
"Because I can't sing, nobody cares about guitar if you can not sing too."
"Ugh! Whatever, but when this tanks you are to blame."
"That a girl. Now lets go get signed."
"Dont let them steamroll you baby. Love you." Amy shouts
"Love you too."
With that Chantel and Allen walk back into the room and sit down.
"We'll take it!" Allen shouts
