Soaring Bird

"L.A. Hearts this is your ten minute warning, head to the stage."
Chantel looks at her band mates and they all head to the stage together. Rex holds her hand the whole time, trying to hide his nerves while comforting hers. When they get side stage Nikki and his band are finishing up their last song.
"You ready?" Allen asks his best friend
"Yea, you?"
"Hell yea! We are going to rock!"
Rex and Maddox join the two and they huddle in a group.
"Okay guys this is it. We have worked hard for this and now we get to shine. I am so happy to have made this band with you guys and I am proud of the work we have done. Now lets rock!" Chantel says.

"L.A. Hearts! L.A. Hearts! L.A. Hearts! L.A. Hearts!" The crowd chanted over and over until the lights dimmed. Then they screamed! Maddox made his way to the drums and stayed out of sight building the suspense in the crowd. The beginning music for Do Your Worst started and he popped up into sight. The crowd screamed as the rest of the band ran out.
"You gotta nasty little side of you that's new to me
I wish I knew the signs were on the wall for all to see
A penny for your thoughts, a dollar for a rational one
You never see the glass is anything but empty
So make your move I dare you"

"How the fuck are you Seattle!?!?!?!" Chantel shouts
She is answered with the whole crowd screaming back at her.
She looks at the rest of her band mates and knows that they killed their opening number. Now to get through the duet with Nikki and then she gets to sing with Rex. <3
