"Good Chantel, it sounds great, now I want the guys to take turns just doing a few notes on their instruments, and Maddox, try not to go to crazy." the sound guy says
They guys all checked their instruments and then they ran through their opening song before the sound guy gave them a thumbs up and dismissed them.
"Well that was simple." Allen said pushing open the door to their dressing room where they would be the rest of the night until they went on stage.
"Yea, I'm just glad everything works, I just hate that Motionless in Color goes on first tonight." Rex says plopping on the couch, holding his arms open for Chantel to fall into.
"I don't enjoy the fact that we have to stand side stage while they perform." Maddox says
"Hey I have to sing with that sexist fuck." Chantel says laying in Rex's arms
"But hey, you get to sing with me too..." Rex says smiling before kissing her temple.
This is true. Their first album had two duets, the duet with Nikki was their song Angel Eyes and it was the first ever song Chantel wrote which is why she was so pissed that she had to share it with this worthless fuck who thinks she doesn't have any talent and doesn't deserve to be here. But then there was the duet with Rex, who was told he had to do it when the producer heard him goofing off with her in rehearsal, which was Broken.
Just then there was a knock on the door, and when it opened Frankie, Charlie, and Zeke walked in.
"Hey guys!" Maddox says from his chair, "how was your soundcheck?"
"Yea about that... we came to warn..." Frankie was interrupted
"Where the fuck are they!" Nikki yells busting through the door, "What the fuck did you amateurs do to the equipment! None of it works!"
"Whoa man you need to calm down," Charlie says holding Nikki back, "the sound guy said"
"I don't give a fuck what he said, this has never happened to me before, I have never had problems with my gear, and then I get stuck on a tour with a bunch of fake fuckers and now nothing works!"Nikki booms, then looks at Chantel, "It was you wasn't it, you selfish little slut! You worried that everyone will boo you because your music sucks that you have to make sure my set goes horribly!"
Rex catapults off the couch towards Nikki, "Look here you knock off little fuck! If anyone here is fake it's you! You can't even come up with a real band name, you just recycled your fathers! We didn't touch your worthless equipment, we tested OURS, the equipment that said L.A. Hearts! You know a band name we came up with! And we don't need to worry about fans booing us because we have the most talented singer on this tour in our band, and unlike the rest of us, shes a beauty to look at. And I'm sure you are aware that HER aunt is the manager on this tour and if she finds out you are accusing her of false things and raising your temper at her she won't be to happy about that! And if you ever call her a slut again I will ruin you, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?!?! Take you FAKE ASS OUT OF HERE!"
Nikki swings on Rex, but Rex grabs his arm and twists before shoving him out of the dressing room and tell the other three to leave before shutting and locking the door.
"Hey Rex?" Allen says
"What!?"
"Do you really want to ruin him?" Allen says shaking his phone mischiefly
"What did you do?" Chantel asks her best friend seeing that look in his eyes
"I may have hit upload on a video..." Allen laughs as he shows everyone
They all gasp as they realize Nikki is about to be exposed...
