Cursed by love

She seems strange. She was quietly almost all the time. Then she left. About thirty minutes has passed since then. I and Katie, we were eating and talking about work and while about Laurie, too. She was worried about her.
“Don´t you know where she´s gone?”
“I´m sorry, Katie, no. But I´ll find her. Don´t worry!” I walked out the door in the hope that I can do it. It didn´t take much time, and I saw her sitting on the wooden bench in the garden. She was looking nowhere. Something was going on. I sat next to her, and I noticed she wiped her tears.
“What´s wrong with you, Laurie?” I was as worried as Katie. But she was quietly, and she hid it in front of me. “I can see it! Don´t hide your feelings, because it´s gonna beat you…” Laurie looked at me. And she still sat in silence. Even she doesn´t speak she is like opened book. And I can read from her.
After a while, she spilled it out. “I fixed my relationship with Tommy, and we have to fly away tomorrow. But I have Katie as well. And she wants to stay and work for you. If I do one of these things, I´ll lose someone. And I don't feel like it.” I understand her. She loves this Tommy guy, even if he hurt her. It´s same between Juliet and me. But in her case, it´s more powerful because he is her first love.
But when I looked at her again it wasn´t better her. Her confused look told me that. The light blue eyes weren´t okay yet. “Isn´t it all, am I right?”
“What?” I grabbed her hand. It was a sign for her that she can trust me.
“Don´t lie, Laurie! I know you want to stay. So tell me the real reason!”
“At home, I´ve got nothing. Hard life and misery. Here it´s different. My dreams are filling, and I have one big goal. And I´m too selfish that I want to come it true. But I also care about Tommy and Katie. And I don´t want to hurt them. I don´t know what can I do.” she stopped pretending. I hugged her. And I don´t know why I exactly did that. Her first sentence interested me, but then I heard the rest of it. “So tell me more about your dream…”
“I want to sing my songs for people and give the reason why don´t give up. I want to have a band and create new music. I want to do what makes me happy. Just like you…”
It was unbelievable. I have to support it. She reminds me myself when I was younger. With same thoughts, I made Black Veil Brides. To show people that they don´t have to hide who they really are.
“And you will! I´m gonna help you…” I whispered to her. She seemed confused. "Are you serious?“ I nodded.
"Thank you so much!” she said while she was hugging me so tightly. Laurie is very young, but she feels the world by eyes of adults. She´s very realistic, but also loving, loyal person. And I like the way she is. Laurie has proved me that she´s got the potential to succeed in the music world. I will help her for!
Then we came back inside.
