It was a very sunny day out, which meant today was a BBQ block party. It was the first official day of summer and I had finished my Junior year with flying colors... those are Dad's words, not mine.I get dressed in ripped jean shorts and a Jack Daniel's mock tank top. I slipped on my Vans and walked downstairs after brushing my hair. I see Dad French braiding Mom's hair. "Can you do mine next? It's hot out." I laugh sitting down by mom. "Sure sweetheart, I can do that." He smiled and finished Mom off before he started on my hair.
He was done in no time and smiled. "Done. Look at my two girls." Dad chuckled and hugged both of us. I hug back smiling and watch Mom slip on her sandals. She was wearing a yellow colored sundress with her gladiator sandals. Dad was wearing a plain white shirt with blue jeans and his work boots. It wasn't a very hot air it was humid. "Ready my loves?" Mom asked smiling.

I was sitting in one of the lawn chairs on the front of our lawn as everyone was cooking and playing games. I had an ice cold water bottle in my hands and I was reading on my Kindle Fire as a black car came creeping by. It pulled into Andrews driveway and four guys got out. They could have Andys' brothers since they all had black hair and looked the same except for one. He was tan and looked a little Native American.
One of them came over smiling. "Hey you got another water in that cooler?" He asked chuckling. I nod smiling and hand one to him. "Do your friends want one?" I asked. "Maybe but they are going inside to get Andy. I'm CC by the way." He smiled holding his hand out to shake. I smile and shake it. "Ah, so you're the famous drummer of the famous band." I laugh softly and watch him sit in the chair next to mine.
"Oh yeah. I guess you've figured out who Andy is huh?" I shrug laughing. "Kinda hard not to figure out when he has some people with cameras trying to peek in his windows." I said. CC nods drinking some of the water. "Man, Andy told me it was dark and rainy here, maybe he was talking about his head." He laughed some. "Nah its just a sunny day. It might rain later though." I said. "CC are you harassing my neighbor?" A deep voice laughed. We both turned to see Andy standing there with a beer in his hands and the others behind him.
