You're Never Gonna Get It I'm A Hazard To Myself (on hold for the moment)

Chapter Two

I woke up early in the morning due to a very loud rumbling noise that was multiplied by two. I struggled to get out of bed and down the stairs. "Hello sweetie, sleep well?" My mother asked. Her blonde hair was piled up on her head like a crown and she was arranging the vases on the island and tables. "New shipment?" I yawn softly sitting at the island. "Oh yes! I got about two dozen Blue Bells, a dozen Oriental Lilies, another dozen of Blue Pombago, and three dozen Gerbera Daisy." My mom said excitedly.
I nod and softly take out one of the blue flowers softly stroking its naturally waxy petals. "So whats Dad doing?" I ask noticing the rumbling noise had subsided. "Oh the neighbor has bought a motorcycle and your dad's taking care of it. Apparently, the engine needed some work and your dad offered to fix it." Mom explained. I nod and look out the window to see Dad hovering over an old black bike, his blue work shirt sleeves pushed up to his elbows. "I'm going to work sweetheart, your Dad can get a pizza because I'll be late." She smiled and took the remaining vases and walked to her car.

I walk outside after getting dressed and look at my Dad as he wiped his hands on the oil rag. "Hey Princess, hand me that socket wrench?" He asked smiling. I nod and hand it to him, "So Mom got new flowers." I laugh softly. "Oh yeah I know." He shook his head smiling. "You know... sometimes, I wonder how we've even stayed together this long. I'm just a redneck who knows how to work with bikes and shes a pretty woman that loves flowers." He laughed. 'But we have you and I couldn't have been happier." Dad smiles and starts to put the engine back together. "So... Did Mr. Biersack buy this?" I ask softly.
"Yeah, there was a lot of engine trouble but I think I've fixed it." He said grinning and gets up grabbing the keys. "I'm gonna start her up and see if i can hear any problems." I nod and sit back smiling watching Dad start her up and listen carefully. Suddenly, a dark figure comes through the fence gate and smiles slightly. "Damn, you did fix her Daniel." Andy smiles.
"Yep, all she needed was a little cleaning and some tune up." Dad said really proud of his work. "How much do I owe you?" Andy asked getting out his wallet. "I normally do about $600, but since I didn't do full body, I'll take $230." Dad said. "Alright." Andy got out the money as Dad went inside to get his receipt book. I kept my head down as Andy stood there. "Your Dad's good with bikes."
I nod softly. "Yeah, he grew up doing this." I mumble. "I'm sorry about the way I treated you by the way, I shouldn't have yelled at you, but this was my first day here and it was stressful." He explained rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I whisper as my Dad came to the garage. "Here you go." He chuckled as he gave him the receipt. "Thanks Daniel. Goodbye Haydn." Andy said walking the bike back into his yard. "He knows my name?" I whisper softly. "Of course. I love to brag about you and your Mom." Dad laughed and walked back into the garage to clean up.
