FELICITY'S POV------

Hi. I'm Felicity Green. I have brown hair and my bangs hang over my left eye. My eyes are hazel and I'm left handed. My best friend is Alice Day. I'm sixteen and stand at 5'3". Lastly, I live with my abusive father and get bullied everyday.

I was excited to go to school today, because Alice told me there were five new guys coming today. I stopped by her house on my way to school so i had someone to walk with. I was frantically trying to cover up my fresh bruises on my arms from last night's beating. I knocked on her door after succeeding in covering myself. Alice walked out and locked the door behind her. We started walking. I didn't really know how to start up a conversation, but Alice did.
"So Felicity, I hope the new guys aren't total jerks.." Alice said.
"Oh I'm sure they will be. You know how everyone is at this hellhole." I said. We arrived and went to sit at our spot we always waited at before first bell. We got there kinda late, so we only waited five minutes. The bell rang and I went in one direction as Alice went in the other. I made my way to homeroom. I was surprised I wasn't pushed down on the way there. As soon as I entered the classroom though, it started. Fat, bitch, ugly, whore, disgusting. This is what I heard as I made my way to my seat. I passed a guy who muttered beautiful. Beautiful? No one ever said I was beautiful. I looked at him and he walked over to me. He sat across from me. I was nervous, but I managed a question.
"Did you call me beautiful?" I asked. I felt tears forming. He slowly nodded his head. As he did so, a tear fell. He took his thumb and wiped it away.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Umm, no one has ever said that I'm b..beautiful." I said.
"What? That's bullshit. You are beautiful. What's your name?" he asked.
"Felicity. What's yours?" I asked.
"Andy. Want to hang out after school?" Andy asked.
"Uh.." I got frantic," umm after school wouldn't be the best idea. How about lunch?" I asked. He nodded his head. I think he sensed that something was wrong.
"Yeah. Lunch will do. Maybe you could tell me what's up." Andy said. I nodded vigorously and the second bell rang. I got up and went to second. Time flew by fast and before I knew it, it was time for lunch. I met up with Andy in the hall and led him to where Alice and I always sat. I spotted Alice. She had four other guys with her. They all had long black hair and wore a bit of makeup like Andy. We walked over and I was introduced to them.
