I stared at her, shocked. I couldn't believe what she had just said. I was going to hurt her. I would never hurt her in my life, not ever, and now she was telling me that either way it was going to happen. I sighed, and looked down to the floor. "What are we going to do?" I asked, looking back up at her. "I don't know, but please don't leave me." She said quietly, looking down at the floor. I sighed, and pulled her into a tight hug. "I wont sweetheart, not yet anyway. If it gets to the point where it's plain something's going to happen to you I'll leave, but it wont mean that I don't love you." I said, and I felt her shake slightly with tears.

"Hey, don't cry." I said, picking her up and carrying her up the stairs, and into her room. I sat down on the bed with her on my lap, and rocked her as she cried into my chest. "Shhh...shhh sweetheart, I know." I said, kissing her lightly. "I'm scared." She whispered, and I wiped away her tears with my thumb. "So am I." I said, and she chuckled, sniffling slightly. I kissed the top of her head and rested my chin on it. She calmed down, and I looked at her, smiling. "I promise, I will do everything not to hurt you. Everything." I said, and she nodded, smiling. "I love you Andy."
"I love you too sweetheart." I said, kissing her lightly. I grabbed the hand with the burn, and rubbed my thumb over it. I wanted to make it go away, make it all go back. Not let her pick up my gun, make sure that she wouldn't get hurt.

She sat up, looking at me. She pulled out a box from underneath her bed and got out bandages and rewrapped her hand. "Why do you have bandages underneath your bed?"
"When your a vampire you'll always get hurt." She said, and I sighed, kissing her hand once it was wrapped. There was a sudden bang downstairs, and we both looked at each other, then sped downstairs. The others in the house had awoken, and were now downstairs to. Rosie ran into the living room, and began to yell. "Ryan! What the hell!?" She yelled, and I followed her into the room. Her brother and Darren were rolling about the floor, all fangs and bright eyes. Rosie grew her fangs and jumped onto her brother, pulling him back. "What the fuck do you think your doing!" she yelled, turning back normal. He panted and stared at her. "It's him! He's the one who fucking deserves his ass kicked!" He said, trying to go back to him but she pulled him back.

"I know he does but it gives you no right to do it in the house, in daylight!" She yelled. "Well he needs to fucking leave. What gives him the right to come in here?"
"I don't know, he must of just walked in." She said. I could feel someone staring at me. I looked over at Darren, and he was staring at me, smirking. I looked back at Rosie, trying to make the feeling go away, but it was still there. Suddenly Rosie was in front of me, both arms in the doorway, snarling at Darren who was closer than before. "Don't even think about it." She snapped, revealing her fangs. "Now come on sweetie, you know you really want me, not him. "I've never wanted you, not really. I was 18 and stupid, and now look where that's got me. You've fucking ruined everything for me so don't think your going to make your way back now after what you did." She snapped, and he stepped back, staring at her.

"I did everything for you-"
"yeah, everything, everything to hurt me, everything to use me, everything but love me..."She said, and he sighed. "I always loved you...I just had needs..."
"Well I have needs but I don't take those out on Andy, and there is now way on earth that I'm going to let you anywhere near him."
"Yeah right, those needs will take over soon, then you wont be able to stop."
"Oh I will, because I love him more than anything, and I need him more than I need anything else." She said I wrapped my arms around her waist, and she smiled up at me, bright red eyes and all, she was still beautiful even so. I loved her so much that it hurt, and I needed her to stay with me, no matter what.

Suddenly Darren lunged at us, and I threw Rosie to the side, onto the floor. I remember the training at a monster hunter I had been told. "A vampire's weak spot is hard to find, but once found, brings them to your mercy." I looked at his body quickly, finding the bite mark that turned him. I found it. It was at the back of his throat, and I quickly grabbed it. He chocked slightly, and his eyes grew wide. "Don't you dare ever go to hurt her...your not going to hurt her anymore." I said, tightening my grip. He coughed, and his eyes grew wider. "Andy stop it." Rosie said, but I ignored her. "Andy...stop." I ignored her again. "Andy! Your killing him!" She yelled, and I let him go, letting him fall to the floor. Rosie Jumped on me, and pulled me back from him. He got back up, and snarled. "I'll be back, Just wait and see." he said, running out of the house.

"Well done mate, I think I like you more than I did before." Ryan said, turning normal. I smiled, and turned to Rosie. She stood there, arms folded, staring at me. She turned and walked out of the room. I sighed, and followed her. I tried the door handle to her room, but it was locked. I sighed and knocked on the door. "Babe...let me in." I said. "No." She said, her voice muffled. "Please sweetheart." I said, and I heard her sigh. Soon the door unlocked, and I walked in sitting beside her. "I'm sorry...I just lost it, I mean...he was going to hurt you, didn't know what else to do and-"
"It's not because you were protecting me, it's because of what you used to hurt him. You can't do that, it's horrible, and you don't understand how much it hurts. I've had that done to me back in 1995, and it hurts, it really hurts. You could of killed him. where the hell did you learn that?" She said, and I sighed, looking down.

"Ashley found it somewhere."
"Well wherever he found it was cruel. It's torture."
"But he's not a nice person."
"Well in is eyes your not. Think about it Andy your a monster hunter, at the end of the day your like a hunter to a deer. The deer's done nothing but it's still killed. We may kill people but it's never by choice, it's because we have to, to survive. it's either that or death, I'd rather hurt innocent people than die." She snapped, and I sighed. She was right, but I still needed to protect people. "I'd never hurt you."
"yeah, but someone else might, Ashley, CC, any of the others, they find me I'm dead, simple as."
"Your not, I wouldn't let them."
"yeah and it wouldn't look strange if you helped me, a vampire, a scum of the earth, everything evil and bad in the world." She said, chocking back the tears. I grabbed her and pulled her towards me, hugging her tight.

"You are none of them, you are an amazing, beautiful, strong woman, and I would never, ever let anything happen to you. You are my life and I don't know where I'd be without you. Please sweetheart, I promise nothing will ever happen to you." I said, and she sighed, looking up at me. "Fine, I believe you. Just make sure it doesn't happen."
"I promise..."
