I sighed, trying to fasten my belt. On it I had a gun, a small pen knife, and a packet of sliver and wooden bullets. We had been practising for three days, and we seemed to get the whole thing down. We had done nothing but study and plan our fighting skills and moves. I looked around at the others, and they all looked at each other. "Right then guys. This is dangerous, but we all know that we'll have each others backs. We need to save people an get rid of these creatures." Danny said, and everyone cheered. We all went outside into the dark of night.

It was bitter cold outside, and I could see my own breath in the air. I shuddered, and paired up with CC to roam the streets. We walked down the road, keeping an eye out. There was a sudden scream, and we ran down an alley. There was a young girl pressed up against a wall, a man with bright green eyes. He revealed his fangs, and sunk them into the girls neck. CC quickly shot him in the back with a wooden bullet, making him fall to the floor. He hissed at us, and jumped up into the sky, and out of sight. I looked at the young girl who was sitting on the floor, shaking with fear. I knelt down beside her, and she stared at me. "Run. Run to your friends, your house, anything, just go home, this was nothing but a dream." I whispered, and she got up and ran away. I got back up, and looked back at CC. "Right, onto the next one." I said, and he nodded, following me into the main street.

Five hours later and 6 more terrified girls, I followed CC out of another side street. "I swear if I see another terrified girl-" I said, being cut off by looking into an alley. There was a blonde haired girl on the floor, a split lip and bloody nose, struggling to get up. I looked at the girl, and noticed who it was. It was Rosie. I ran in, followed by CC, only to be confronted by another girl but with bright purple eyes. I looked at Rosie's eyes. I thought I saw them flash red for a second but I couldn't be sure. CC shot at the other girl, and she howled in pain, before running off quickly down the alley. I ran to her, and gently put her into a sitting position. "Oh my god Rosie are you ok?" I said, looking at her nose and lip. She nodded slightly, looking up at me.

"I...I.." She whispered before whimpering in pain. "Its midnight. We need to go back now." CC said, and I nodded, scooping Rosie up in my arms. "Well you go ahead, tell them I'm safe and that Rosie was injured and I'm taking her back to my house to sort her out." I said, and he nodded, running out of the alley, and to the meeting point. I looked at the beautiful girl in my arms, gently hissing in pain. "It's ok Rosie. I'm taking you back to mine to sort out." I said, and she nodded softly, and I began to walk back to my house.

When we got there, I gently lay her down on the sofa, and got some anti infectent , and some damp cloths. "Now, this might sting a little." I said, dabbing the cloth onto her lip. She winced slightly, but then got used to the pain. "What were you doing there?" I asked, and she sighed, her beautiful eyes looking up at me. "I was just walking and this girl came out of nowhere and began to threaten me. I fought back and she sort of kicked my ass." She said, chuckling slightly. "Anyway, what were you doing out?" She asked, and I sighed. "Promise not to tell anyone, or think I'm mad?"
"Promise."
"Well...There's such things as mythical creatures. I was attacked by one not long ago, and I think it's what attacked us the other night, and one attacked Ashley too, so we've decided to become monster hunters." She blinked at me with her innocent eyes. "Really?"
"Really. Were not mad, there all real." She gulped, and smiled at me. "I'm proud of you for taking a stand for something that you believe in." She said, and I smiled. I gently leaned forward, and kissed her cheek. "Thank you for believing in me." I whispered, before continuing with her wounds.
