Save me from myself

Riley's POV

***TIME LAPSE***


Its been about three days since me Andy made our relationship official. Its still very surreal. We have been spending as much time as possible together, with us being on tour that is slightly difficult. With the meet & greet, concerts, and interviews, but we make it work though. We haven't told anybody yet, especially Ash. I'm afraid of how he will react with his best friend and little cousin dating. I think I'm going to tell the band today, Andy wanted to tell them sooner but I insisted that we wait. I'm waiting on them to get done with an interview, then I will announce mine and Andy's status.

"Hey Riley." Jinxx says as he sees me. My anxiety is starting to get worse I'm so afraid of how Ash will react. He has never fancied me dating.

"Hey guys, how did everything go?" They all nod and mumble an 'OK'.

"WelI I have something to tell you guys." I say and give Andy a look he nods and smiles and sits down beside of me. They all look at us with curious faces.

"Okay what is it?" Ash says.

"Well, me and Andy are dating." I just blurt out. Andy leans over and kisses me on the cheek. They all look at us with shocked expressions.

"Wow" CC says.

"Congrats." Jake says.

"That's adorable." Jinxx says with a smile. They all seem to be genuinely happy for us. Except Ash he is just looking at me like I have three heads.

"Ash what do you think?" Andy says. Ashley just shakes his head.

" That's.......great." Ash says through gritted teeth. Then he forces a smile.

"Ash is everything okay?" Jinxx ask. He just nods and stands up and mumbles something about how he's going to bed. Then he goes back to the bunks.



"I'm gonna go talk to him." I say and they all nod. I head back to the bunks to find Ash sitting on his bunk starring into space.

"Ashley is everything okay?" I say and sit beside him and put my hand on his shoulder.

" Yeah everything's fine." He says still not looking at me.

" I know something is bothering you, now what is it?" I say. Then he turns to look at me.

" I just don't think this is the right thing to do." He simply states.

"What do you mean?" I say acting hurt.

" I mean your very ambitious, he is in a band. He will go on tour and leave you while you go off to college and leave him. It just won't work." He says. I see where he is coming from but I can't help but be slightly hurt.

"I see where you are coming from Ash, but we will make it work. We have to believe we can. I really would appreciate your consent, it would mean the world. You have always been the closest person to me in my life, aand I love you very much Ash." I say on the verge of tears, he leans over and hugs me and kisses my cheek.

"You have my consent sweetheart, and I love you too." He whispers in my ear. I smile and bury my head in his chest.
