Somewhere In Neverland

~Ashley's POV~

Anna had to leave for a therapy session shortly after I had gave her my number so I grab the black suit case I had tucked away in the back of my closet. The nurse had gave it to me to put the clothes she gives me in. So when I did leave all my clothes were basically packed. I walk over to the small dresser by my bed and pull out my favorite white sweaters, skirts and shoes into the bag mixing with all the black clothes. Wait does the nurse know that I am leaving?

I walk out of my room after sliding on my white flats and going down to the art room where nurse Lisa normally is. Seeing the bright colors of the rooms hurts my eyes at first like always but they adjust to it. I walk to her desk past the walls that have colorful waves rushing in the direction of it.
"Ash!" she chirps up as she sees me and gets up to hug me. I hug back like normal but a tear slips down my cheek as she pulls away.
"what's wrong baby girl?" she asks worried
"I'm just gonna miss you when I leave to the other school. Your like the mother I never had" I whisper and she smiles sympathetically.
"hun don't worry. I will see you again. You were my favorite patient. I think of you as my daughter too." she smiles
I herd about the school you are going to and I know you will love it." she says and rubs my shoulder as I nod.
"so since you love art so much and at the new school you will be taking much more advanced art classes.. I got you a little farewell gift." she says and pulls out black roll out case and lays it on the table to untie it and roll it out.
"since you loved to work with clay I got you a professional sculpting kit" she smiles.
"I love it" I grin and trace my fingers over the wood .
"now as for clothing.. what I got you over the years wont be enough to go in the school... You need to enter with a bam" she grins and I tilt my head confused.
She runs behind her desk with excitement and opens the drawer pulling out a red short skirt, a shirt saying sinners never sleep and knee high black socks.
"uh Ms. Lisa.. wont that not be appropriate for the school?" I ask biting my lip as I look at it.
"Haha oh trust me hun its not. I went to the school for a little tour and whoowee those teachers are hansom" she says and I cant help but laugh uncontrollably.
"Ms. Lisa!" I say and she laughs and just pats my back also giving my a black box.
I tilt my head and open it showing a professional art kit.
"tonight you can experiment with that and find out what you will do tomorrow.. also I remember you used to cut your own hair before you came here. I trust you wont hurt yourself anymore so you can take scissors to your room tonight to cut it she says and I just hug her tightly again.
"Thank you so much for all you have done for me" I whisper and she nods.
"also you can take Fluffy with you.. well not on the first ride there but I will ship it to you" she says talking about the clay cat I made when I first got here. I always used to work on it the weeks when I first got here because I just got so stressed from all the questions the therapist's asked me. sometimes also talk to it when I am alone..

After I say thank you again to Ms. Lisa I set down all of the stuff she gave me on the bed. I take a deep breath and flip around the mirror I have had flipped around since I got here. A wow escapes my lips as I look at my self in shock. I look so different than what I used to look like. No I don't absolutely hate it. I just look like a thin women with long black bland hair with no style wearing all white. When I first got here I was wearing all black.. a little on the chubby side, spiky black hair and heavy black eyeliner to cover up the bags under them. but now my skin is as white as the clothes I am wearing. no acne, no bags, no fear....


For a while I just play around with my makeup and cut my hair to shoulder length with some fringe across my forehead and add a bunch of layers. Once I feel proud of it all Anna walks in and gasps.
"Holy shit you are goals right now" she says and I blush as my old phone from the drawer starts to buzz and I tilt my head. Anna grabs it from the drawer because she is closer and tosses it to me. Who the hell messaged me? I open it up to see that the principal of the school sent my a text ~be ready at 10am somebody will be there for you. sleep we cant want for are new school addition to get here~
"well that's a bit weird that the principal texted you..." Anna says and I nod in agreement.
"Either he is a creepy...or a awesome guy" I laugh and toss it in my packed bag along with all the stuff Ms. Lisa gave me but I leave the outfit out and lay it on the desk before curling up on my bed.
"Goodnight Anna.."
"Goodnight Ash..tomorrow you get to start a new life" she says and I go to bed smiling thinking of what might be coming.
