Just One Last Smile|Andley|

"Come here." I purred to my lover, and fellow band mate, Andy.

God he was so gorgeous. His amazing raven hair, piercing blue eyes, perfect pale skin, but what was even more gorgeous about him was his smile. That was the only thing that was different about him. He didn't smile anymore, and if he did, it was fake. I'm not dumb, I can tell.

Ever since what had happened a year ago he's stopped. But hey, we're all on tour again and safe from the attacker. So he should smile.

Andy came running towards me and I was shocked at what I saw.

A smile.

I laughed as I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek.

"You're smiling." I chuckled and looked at him.

"Well- I feel, different. I just- you know, generally feel happy." I smile at his words.

"Just in time. The show is going to start soon."

"Black Veil Brides, on in two!" A crew member shouted and I nodded to them in thanks.

"Hey babe, I think there's something missing from my makeup. I feel like a kiss on the cheek might be good." I smirked at him, noticing his crimson lips.

He giggled and kissed my cheek, leaving his lips there for a few seconds before moving away.

"One more right here?" I asked, pointing to my lips. I earned another giggle from him and he kissed my lips passionately. I gripped his hips, pulling him closer to me. I was just about to shove my tongue in there when I heard the crowd cheering and chanting 'Black Veil Brides'.

"Guys, stop making out and get out here!" CC yelled into the microphone and I saw Andy blushing furiously. I chuckled and grabbed my bass.

We ran on stage, laughing from what had just happened. Andy was struggling to keep his balance so I stood by him, holding his waist so that he wouldn't fall.

And of course we earned some 'awes' from that.

"Thank you." He said softly, kissing my cheek quickly. I let go of his waist and step back a bit, laughing a little.

"Ok, so now that that's done with." He laughs. "How y'all mother fuckers doing?" The crowd roared with different responses. I saw him smile brightly.

"Well then, good. You know, it feels good being back in Hollywood, California." He said in his low, raspy voice. Damn, that was so sexy.

"Well, this song is called 'Youth and Whiskey.'"

I started playing the chords just as CC, Jake and Jinxx started playing as well.

"These words are burning inside me, spent years in liquid harmony. This dream is who I wanna be."
"Youth and Whiskey!" The crowd sung.

"I grew from those who hate me, stand fast to a razor blade symphony. Cigarettes and lyrics made me."

"Youth and Whiskey!"

We played the song.

And a hell lot of more.

Until the time finally came.

The guys started playing The Mortician's Daughter and I took a break from my bass, taking it off and propping it up against the venue wall.

Andy stared at me in utter confusion and I just laughed. I walked up to him and saw him blushing once again.

"I open my lungs dear.." He tried to sing without cracking his voice from the tears forming in his eyes. "I sing this song at funerals-" He stopped as a laugh escaped his throat and he covered his mouth with his open hand.

"Oh, c'mon don't cover that beautiful smile..." I laughed into the mic and the crowd awed.

"We've been together for almost three years..." I said softly, Andy wrapping his arms around my neck, crying into my shoulder happily. "I know..." He whispered. I smiled and pulled away from him.

"Every relationship comes to an end.." I said into the mic. Andy looked at me confused and hurt and I only smirked.


"What.." He breathed in disbelief. More tears slid down his face and that's when I shook my head and got down on one knee, taking out a box and his hand.

"Oh my god, you scared me you bastard." He sighed happily and I just laughed.

"Andy, I know that we haven't had the longest relationship yet. And I know that we had tough times. Like the events of last year.." I frowned at the mention of that. But hey, it's the past.

"But that's behind us now, hopefully. I'd never thought that I would fall for my best friend. But I did. And how glad am I for it." I chuckled and he nodded in agreement. "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me. When I met you, you were nothing but a small 17 year old that I helped from getting jumped by guys at a bar. And now I'm here, asking you the question that my life practically deepened on. I love you, and I won't EVER let you think otherwise. I won't make you regret this, at all. And yes, I know that I just scared the living shit out of you, but I just want to ask you this question."

"Will you marry me?"

I searched his face for any signs of an yes. He nodded, wrapping his arms around my neck as I wrapped mine around his waist. The crowd awed and so did the guys.

"Andy.."

"Hmm.."

"Can you sing this part of the song please.. If I mean what I said, I will sing the right lyrics." I laughed.

"I love you more than I can ever scream..." His voice sung beautifully into the mic and I nodded.

"I love you more than anything. More than I can ever scream."
I took his hand and slid the ring onto his finger.

"I love you.."

I smiled and pulled him into a loving kiss. He kissed back in an instant and I smiled.

"You're beautiful." I said against his lips. I pulled away looked into his eyes. I chuckled and pulled him into a hug, holding onto him tightly.

"I love you..."

We all walked backstage, huge smiles on our face as we had just ended the show. I was so proud.

Proud of our army being there to support us.

Proud of the guys going along with the plan.

And most of all,

Proud of my baby coming back. His true self coming back, that is.

I looked down at the boy in my arms and smiled, not knowing what to say or do other than that.

"Ashy, you can put me down now."

"Hahaha... No. I like this better." I laughed and kissed my new fiancé.

"It's worth smiling now, is it?" I asked

He nodded and kissed my chin, making me smile.

"Now come on, we have a meet and greet and signings to get to." I laughed.

So here we are, at the signing. I'm sitting in a chair while Andy on the other hand... was sitting on my lap, ignoring the extra chair beside me.

"Babe, there's a chair right next to me."

"I don't fucking care! I'm sitting on your lap and you're 'gonna deal with it!"

The few fans in front of us laughed as a girl gave us a poster to sign. We signed it, kind of gave her a hug and so on so forth.

"You guys a adorable together. Also, congrats." A boy, probably around 17 or 18, said. Andy blushed and we said thank you. We signed a 'Set The World On Fire' CD and poster that he had brought and said our goodbyes to him.

"Guys, we need some fucking help!" CC complained dramatically, showing the two of us all the CDs and posters and fan art he needed help getting signed. We all laughed and shook our heads.

"Do it yourself!" Jake yelled over the chattering of people.

"You guys suck!" CC whined.

"No, Andy does." I smirked and looked at Andy, who was blushing as always.

"Me. You. Bed. We'll see who'll suck then." There was a moment of silence before we all bursted out in laughter. I swear he was too damn adorable.

"Ashley tops!" A boy yelled as he walked by, causing his friends to laugh along with him.

"Ha! Even the fans agree with me."

"Shut up..."

We continued to sign things and talk to fans. After the signing ended, we all got up to get to the meet and greet.

"Ashley, put me down!" Andy whined after I had threw him over my shoulder.

"Never." I chuckled and I felt something soft poke my bottom.

"Hey, you know the saying 'kiss my ass'?"

"Yeah..."

"I just made it literal."

"That's nice, babe."

"Mm, this is one beautiful view." I rolled my eyes at his childishness and chuckled softly.

"Yours is better." I said, slapping his ass and laughing.

"Ashley!"

We made it to the meet and greet and saw a few fans there that were a bit early.

"Ashley, we there yet?" Andy asked for perhaps the hundredths time.

"Yes, Andy."

"Can you put me down now?"

"No."

We approached the fans and they smiled widely.

"Hey guys." I said cheerfully and they said their hellos. There were four boys and three girls.

"Andy... Say hi." I teased and turned around so that Andy's back was to them.

"Sup." he said mellowly, raising up a hand to wave.

"I hate you for this by the way."

"That's a lie, you love me. If you didn't, you wouldn't've said yes." I teased before setting him down on his feet.

"Thank you." He said, crossing his arms. I turned around to see the guys talking to the fans and laughing. I took Andy's hand and walked over to the group who had stepped away a bit.

"Ok, we're back. So, how have you guys been?" I said, smiling at the group.

"Oh, we're doing fine. Congrats on the engagement by the way." A girl said we thanked her and smiled.

"Awesome! Y'all enjoy the show?" CC said, being his normal hyper self.

Suddenly I felt shaking coming from beside me and looked at Andy. Oh god.

His eyes were bloodshot and filled with fear, his smile now gone and shaking horribly.

"Andy, baby what's wrong?" I asked in worry.

"N-n-n-no. No!" He started to back away.

"Andy!"

"Th-they're b-back." He cried, and I knew who it was.

"Jake, Jinxx, CC. Bus, now!" I shouted, quickly picking up Andy bridal style and running towards the bus.
But only to be stopped by interviewers.

"Ah! Andy, Ashley, we heard about the engagement! Like to tell us about it and maybe some updates on BVB?" A man said and I just shook my head.

"We can't, emergency!" I pushed past the interviewers and camera people and ran back to the bus.
I pulled open the door and ran inside, quickly closing it.

"Andy. Andy, it's ok, we're safe, we're safe. It's ok.." I cooed to the scared Andy in my arms, I sat down on the floor and stroked Andy's hair.

"We're safe..."

Just then, the door opened and I looked straight at it, calming down as I saw Jake, Jinxx, and CC enter.

"Dude, what was up with that?" CC asked, panting from the loss of air.

"Juliet..."

Andy whimpered and I shushed him softly so he could calm down.

"She hurt Andy and now she's crazy and wants nothing but to see him dead." Jinxx hissed and we all nodded in agreement.

"I think we're going to go to bed, ok?" I said and they all nodded.

I lifted up Andy and walked to the bunk area.

I stripped Andy of his shirt and pants and laid him in the bunk before doing the same to myself and climbing into the bunk next to Andy. I pulled him close to me and felt him snuggle into my chest.

"I love you Mr. Soon-to-Be Purdy." I whispered.

"I love you too, Mr. Purdy." He giggled softly and within a few seconds I felt his breathing even out, signaling that he was asleep.

"I love you, my baby." I said softly before falling asleep.

Notes

I know, this isn't as good as my other stories. In fact, it's crappie as hell. But when I was writing this, I was also pretty busy with moving and shit, so I was rushing a little. I've been writing a few stories lately and I will post them after I have two or three chapters of each story. I think there's three stories that have the first chapters being written. And then two more that need to be written (they count because I made the covers for them already.) The next story that should be updated is "You Can't", "FTPTR" (Forced to play this role. This will be the LAST reminder and for now on it will be FTPTR), or "I Thought I Could Never Love Again". Then there's also "The Way We Work" that will be updated soon, that is a story that I am the co-author for (and proof reader/editor for the original author.)
