Ally's p.o.v.

I really want to go to this concert, but I can't afford the ticket. I went into Ben's room and asked if he had any idea how I could get the money. ''I need the money and I need it fast'', I said sitting in his bed. ''I have no idea how you are going to get the money, you can't ask dad'', he said. ''I know I just really want to go'', I said. "Well you could sell some of your stuff if you really want to go'', he looked at me hopeful. ''I guess I could, but I have nothing that will get me enough'', I said. I looked down at my hands and started to play with them. I have next to nothing and I'm 21 how pathetic. ''I can't do this anymore Ben. I need to make something of my life and I'm not doing it in this house. I'm fed up of being dad's slave. I'm 21 and I have no job, I still live in dad's house and I'm just fed up.'' I said.

I don't know what came over me. It was like I had finally realized my life was a wreck. Ben just sat there and looked at me. ''I know, but what are we going to do? Dad will go mad if we just leave and we have nowhere to go'', he said. " we do have somewhere to go. I can sleep at Jess's and you can crash at Josh's place'', I said. "'Okay, but what about telling dad? He will go mad'', he said. I looked at him and I felt tears in my eyes. ''I don't care anymore. I stopped caring ever since he beat me up last time. I'm going. Are you coming?'' I asked. He looked at me and grabbed his suitcase. He started packing, so I went into my room and started packing as well. I can't believe I'm actually leaving my dad. I'm finally free from him, from his beatings. My anxiety was caused by him and now I can get help for it. I'm finally free....... !
