Goner

After we went to a couple more stores, we left to go to the park. The sun was already setting, and the view was beautiful. I held Vic’s hand throughout the walk at the park.
“So, tell me about yourself.” Vic said. I shrugged and started walking on some rocks.
“What do you want to know about me?”
“Anything. Your likes, dislikes, goals, attitude. Anything you want me to know.”
“Well, I um. I was born in a pretty good neighbourhood, until my father died.”
“I’m sorry about that.” I shrugged.
“He died when I was around 4. So I don’t really remember much of him. My mother worked three jobs, and I was raised by my grandmother.” I smiled. “She was one heck of a grandmother. She is the reason why I got so into music. But, I couldn’t find an actual career to be in a band, so I became a manager.”
“So, the Black Veil Brides guys aren’t your first band?”
“Yeah. Before that, I helped Juliet’s parents. I managed their time, investment, and pretty much what happened in their lives.” I smiled and jumped off a rock. I stood in front of Vic. He smiled.
“Well, keep working hard, you might as well become our new manager.” He chuckled.
I rolled my eyes.
“I only manage professionals.” I said as I flipped my hair. He gasped and I giggled.
“I am hurt!” He said, with his mexican accent again. I giggled and hugged him.
“You’re a big baby.” I said as I kissed his cheek and turned around. I kept holding his hand and kept walking.
“Okay, do you plan on being on a band?” He asked.
“If the opportunity is given to me, then yeah.” I smiled.
“Well, let me hear how you sound.”
“There isn’t music here.”
“Then we’ll go to our studio.” He smiled.
“Why the studio?” I raised my eyebrow.
“Well, we can record, make yourself a track.” He winked. I thought for a moment.
“Well, if no one hears about this but us.”
“My lips are sealed. Only you and I will hear this song.” He smiled. I nodded.
“We shall record a song then.” I smiled.
He held out his hand.
“Off to the studio we go then.” He smiled. I gladly took his hand and we started walking to the car.
“Last one to the car pays for the ice cream!” I giggled as I started running to the car.
“Hey! No fair!” He laughed and ran after me.

At the studio, we decided on Issues by Julia Michaels. I walked into the room, kinda nervous without any clue why.
“Okay, Yazmin. The headphones are on the right, so just grab them and you can start when the song clicks.” Vic smiled softly.
“I’m not sure about this Vic.”
“Darling you’ll be okay.” He chuckled as he quoted Hold On Till May. I rolled my eyes laughing softly. I grabbed the headphones and placed them over my head. The song started its into, and as soon as it started, I began singing.
