Girl Meets Andy Beirsack

Andy laughed as his sister tugged on her shorts a little seeing if they'd grown a little since she put them on this morning. "Andy stop it. Its not funny its annoying." Lyric whined
"Hey don't complain to me you're the one who wanted to be normal I was rooting for the torn black skinny jeans." Andy defended himself to the small fire cracker in front of him
"Yeah whatever I'm gonna go sit down next to that weird kid over there." Lyric pointed to the only empty seat on the subway next to kid that looked like he worked out more than Andy ever stepped in a gym.
"OK. Don't get abducted." Andy said as she walked over to the guy.
Lyric used her best new person voice when she walked over to this guy "um, hi, uh I was wondering if that seat was taken my feet hurt I'm not really used to these sandles yet."
The boy looked up at her "sure. I save it just in case my girlfriend or her best friend ever want to sit down but I suppose a beautiful girl like yourself will be a worthy exchange. I'm Lucas by the way." He said in a slightly southern accent holding his hand out to her after she sat down.
"Hello Lucas I'm lyric. Where you from? I can here your accent." She said playing with one of her curls. It was a weird new feeling compared to the strait she usually had.
"Texas. And where are you from? I hear one on you too." Lucas smiled at her. Lyric guessed girls usually melted with that look but she was more interested in guys that well didn't look like lucas.
"California. I lived right on sunny strip. We moved here because my parents are getting divorced... And that's not usually something you tell a stranger on a subway. Sorry." She had started to ramble which is what she did when uncomfortable.
"No need to apologizes. I remember my first day here a girl fell on my lap. So where you going to school?" Lucas comforted the poor lost soul girl
"Oh um my brother said something about john Quincy Addams so um yeah you?" She stumbled forgetting what school it was.
"Same as you. I hope we have some classes." He said smiling at her.
The train suddenly lurched and stopped sending lyric cascading face first into the floor unprepared. Lyric grumbled a curse as she heard a snort from her brother. Lucas helped lyric up as two girls walked in.
One blonde one brunette. Both grabbed onto a pole and froze once they laid eyes on the tattooed blue eyed sex god before them.
"Oh no." Lyric widened her eyes. Andy looked up from his tablet through his hair to see what was wrong with his Sister. He rolled his eyes once he saw the problem and went back to what he was doing.
"What's wrong?" Lucas asked his latest friend.
"You those girls? How they're frozen there? They're checking out my brother." She sighed
"Oh. The blonde is my girlfriend Maya and the brunette is her best friend Riley. And I've been looking at your brother some too what happened does he have some genetic superpower to look like god or something." Lucas said making Lyric laugh.
The bell like sound made the two girls snap out of their haze and turn towards the two new friends
Andy senced the threat from two girls marking their territory and knowing his sister wouldn't be able to hold her own signaled her over.
"Hey lucas I have to go. My brother is calling but I'll see you around ok?" She said smiling and walking over to her brother
"I think i got a friend." She smiled up at him.
"Good for you." He said observing the trio behind her.
Lyrics face and voice dropped apon seeing this. "Andy. No. We will not get involved with other peoples lives this time. You will not try and fix my potential friends with your music." Lyric snaaoped her fingers making him look at her and listen
"Lyric my Darling I have no idea what your talking about." Andy said briefly remembering the last person he tried to fix and his badly it went.
"Yeah, uh huh I know you don't so I'll remind you." Lyric pulled. Her tablet out if her bag and brought up the note pad on it "Sara Gene Brennan greg Bryan lydia Jennifer Cody kim Kennedy Louis Lemmy Bret kat Justine Cameron Kally and mom. If you add any of those kids to this list I will kill you." She listed off the names in venomous concession each name dripping in her toxic tone till the last that was said in a way of hatred that he had grown to know.
"I know. So I promise not to do anything stupid." Andy had purposefully put the loop hole in there so he could get away with this if everything worked out.

Lyric opened the door to her first period class. World history with a Mr. Matthews. Before she looked at the kids she would be spending the year with she with she handed the note that explained she was a new student to Mr. Matthews.
"Well hello. Why don't you tell the class your name and where your from and one weird fact about yourself."
Lyric nodded and turned towards the class. Her breathe caught in her throut as when she saw who was there Lucas, subway girls, and a very attractive boy who sat right behind the brunette she couldn't look away from. "Hello my name is Lyric Beirsack. I'm from California and I've never seen snow for real." Lyric realized where the only open seat was and her heart did a little summer sault.
"Well it's very nice to meet you ms. Beirsack. Go have a seat in that empty chair behind farkle." Mr Mathews said. Lyrics smile faltered when he said ms. Beirsack. That was her mother. Not her and she needed to put as much distance between the two of them as possible.
Lyric took the seat behind the hot guy with the exceptional name and took out her note book to start taking notes.
"OK class today we are going to learn about the tragic love affair of sir Lancelot, gwenavere, and King Arthur. Lancelot was in love with gwenavere and though they had their moments together she was still loyal to king Arthur her husband. When the king was killed lancealot thought he finally could have a chance with the girl of his dreams but really it only sealed the fate of the two never being together. Gwenavere having a broken heart vowed never to love again." Mr. Matthews started talking about what happened the series of unfortunate events that led up to the killing of the king and the separation of Lancelot and his true love. She tried to pay attention but she kept getting distracted by the boy in front of her. He seemed so sad.

At lunch she found an empty table and sat there waiting for Andy to come. He had her lunch because lyric had a tendency to fall and break containers or squish sandwiches and it usually ended up in a mess that meant a new backpack. She was watching the lunch room doors when a tray clattered onto the spot next to her. she looked over to see lucas smiling at her. She smiled back and said. "Well hello what brings you over to my magnificent empty table."
He let out a short laugh before saying "well as you said it was empty and I decided that the amazing girl that is in three out of four classes so far. So are you not gonna eat or what?" Lucas asked eyeing the empty space infront of lyric.
"Huh? Oh yeah my brother has my lunch. If I hold on to it I tend to make a mess. He should be here soon." Lyric explained as her stomach growled.
Lucas was about to say something when two other trays clattered on to the other side of the table lyric looked up to see the subway girls. "Hey lucas why are we ohhello Hollywood I see why we're sitting here now." The blonde one said.
"Um hi. My names Lyric not Hollywood what's yours." Lyric was intimidated to say the least.
"Yeah still gonna call you Hollywood. and its Maya." The blonde one said.
"Hello lyric. My names Riley. I like your hair. Maya we should get my parents to let me do that. Hi Lucas." The brunette with a name said.
"Hey." Lucas returned to her.
"Hi." She smiled.
Lyric watching this exchange dreaded the moment when andy would see this. Which came to soon for her comfort when a brown back ploped in front of her and a chair scraped up beside her at the end of the table. the girls froze and stared at him
Riley said to maya in which she thought was a quiet enough tone that none else heard "Maya it's hot subway guy."
Andy had to bite his laugh while Lyric choked on her water "Your not to bad yourself sunshine." Andy gave Riley his signature smirk and a wink. She blushed. Lucas's hand tightened on his fork. Not much but enough that the siblings noticed. They looked at each other. Andy raised his eyebrows and Lyric narrowed her eyes. Silently warning each other of what would happen.
"So Lyric are you gonna introduce me to your friends?" Andy asked staring down his blue haired little sister.she rolled her eyes.
"Country breakfast over here is lucas Blondie is maya." She said
"And sunshine is?" He asked smiling in Riley's direction but keeping an eye on lucas.
"Smiles is Riley." She said softly knowing she had lost this battle.
"Wait country breakfast?" Lucas asked out of no where.
"Couldn't find something better in the time I had." Lyric said and andy snorted knowing his sister had gotten in far enough that she could get away with nicknames like that.
"Try huckleberry on for size. Its what I called him." Maya said. Maya was still iffy about this girl. She beautiful to say the least. And obviously her family was drinking from the gene pool based on what her brother looked like. She could get any guy she wanted and from what she saw that was Lucas but she had to trust him. Extend an olive branch if you will.
Mayas worries were put to rest once farkle sat down and little miss so cool my hair shows it lost any sense of cool. She placed her feet firmly on the floor and suddenly found her PB and J very interesting. She snorted and thought to herself Hollywood wants farkle. How cute.
"Ladies, Lucas, Hollywood kid, intimidating guy from gym class."
"My names Andy and this is my sister Lyric." Andy said trying not laugh at his sisters sudden change in deminor.
"Farkle future world dominator." He said
Andy laughed the text he got "he already dominated my world." Yeah he thought I have a lot of fixing to do around here.
