The Way We Work

|Ashley's POV| (OHHH NEW THING)

After the bathroom incident with Andy, I had walked back to class. The rest of the day went well, I guess. As I walked out the school, I saw Mike hovering over someone, the person trying to fight back. I wanted to go over there and help the kid, but that would double my normal beating tomorrow.

"Ohhh, suddenly Mr. Biersack wants to be a toughy and fight back!" Mike taunted. Wait, Biersack? As in Andy Biersack? Oh dear lord, please tell me Andy has a sibling! The person pushed him off, and stood up. And as always, my hopes were ruined.

There stood Andy, his hand gripped his left side tightly, and there was blood coming from his now split lip.
"You're getting it later, you 'lil jackass." Mike shouted before shoving pass him. I sent Andy a worried look, then walked away, bumping into another guy.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" He yelled at me, causing me to whimper softly. "I'm sorry. I-I di- I didn't mean t-to run into you! Please don't hit me!" I panicked. I didn't even know this guy, but by the way he sounded, he looked like the type of guy to punch someone. "Hey, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled. I won't hurt you." He said, sadness hiding in his voice. "I'm Jinxx by the way." He finished, smiling softly.

"A-Ashley..." I watched his eyes widen in shock. "As in Ashley Purdy?" I nodded in reply. Where was he going with this?

"Omg! Andy never shuts up about you!" He exclaimed, causing me to blush. Andy talks about me? Wait- in a good way or bad way?

Suddenly, I grabbed Jinxx by the arm, and dragged him to the "dark hallway". No lights, no cameras. Just a hallway. That's where I told him everything. From my parents beating me, to where my dad forced me to work at clubs and having to sleep with other men.

By the time I finished, I was a sobbing mess. I don't know why I had told him everything, I've been keeping this a secret for years. Jinxx hugged me tightly, trying to calm me down, cooing at me and telling me that everything will be ok. I guess it worked.

Suddenly, Andy showed up and approached me.

"Hey Ashley, can I talk to you?" The way he sounded was urgent, so I agreed. But I saw a hint of worry in his eyes. We walked to the bathroom where we were earlier, and leaned against the wall.

"Ashley..." He asked sadly.

"Yeah?"

"I- I think I like you...a lot..." He said, looking me in the eye.

"A-and I know that we barely know each other, a-and I know that you're probably not even gay it's just that- Uh... I-I'm sorry.." He rambled, but looked down, giving the floor a saddened look. I wanted to believe him, but I know this was just a set up.

I ran out of the bathroom, and to my home.

When I had finally gotten into the safety of my room, I heard my dad screaming my name.

"Ashley! Get your ass up and get fucking dressed! My friends are coming over and I don't want you looking like shit! Oh— by the way, a boy is coming over, Travis's son! Don't do anything dumb, ya hear?" He yelled.

Oh great...
