--Jinxx’s POV--
I quickly stormed up the stairs and into the living room. I glared at Andy as he sat, laughing in his chair. Like nothing happened. “We need to talk.” I said. “Oooooo~” Ashley said teasingly. “Better watch out Andy, Jinxx might beat your ass.” “Why don’t you shut your womanizing mouth for two fucking seconds because I’m pretty sure you have a part in this.” I snarled at him.
I could see Ashley finch. “Dude, chill. I was just playing.” Ashley said, holding his hands up in defense. I rolled my eyes. “Andy, kitchen. Now.” I demanded before headed in that direction. The sound of footsteps behind me, reassured me he was coming. I was leaning against the counter when Andy walked in. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” I hissed at him.
I could feel my fangs extending, as they often did when I was pissed. “What are you talking about Jinxx?” Andy asked, folding his arms across his chest. “I’m talking about Clarity. She just gave back all of her rights.” Andy’s cocky smile faded at my words. “What do you mean she gave up her rights?” Andy asked.
“She locked herself back in the basement and told me to tell you, she gives up her freedoms because she’d rather die down there then spend one more night with you.” I yelled. I slammed my fist down on the marble counter tops. A loud crack filled the room. I was a little too fucking mad to care that I just destroyed the counter top.
“What the hell did you do? Use her? Just like you always fucking do?” Andy had quickly crossed the room, lifting me off the floor by my shirt. “Listen here you little shit, I care for Clarity. My actions might not show that, but i do. And if you ever fucking accuse me of using her again, you can expect to find yourself in a lot of pain. Do i make myself clear Jeremey?” Andy asked.
“Crystal clear.” As soon as the words left my mouth, Andy dropped me. “Andrew.” I called after his retreating back. He stopped, but didn’t turn to look at me. “You better not fuck this up anymore, or you’ll lose her.” Andy lowered his head. “I know.” His voice so low, that I could barley hear it.
--Andy’s POV--
I quickly left the kitchen after my interesting conversation with Jinxx. But instead of returning to the living room, I headed up to my bedroom to think things through. I’m sure by now, I look like the bad guy. But i'm not. Am I?
No, i'm not. I decided. I’m trying to protect Clarity. From myself. From this dark world that I drug her into. I did lie about loving her, but it wasn’t for the sex. I said it because I could read that fucker’s mind. What was his name again? Conner...Carter maybe? Ah, who the hell knows. I just know, that he’s plans for her, were not good.
I thought that maybe, if i told her that I loved her, she’d ignore the prick. Now I’ve most likely driven her back to him. I let out a sigh.
As for the sex, well I hadn’t planned on fucking her. But I couldn’t let Ashley know that it had all been to protect her. He’d tell me that we had to get rid of her. That she’d become to much of a hinderance. And I couldn’t do that to her. I couldn’t just give her up. I cared for her. I was, in fact starting to develop feelings for her. And one day, I may actually love her.
But she probably hates my guts. I sighed again and decided that I would continue figuring out if i was the villain later. Right now I had to go get her from the basement.
