Don't leave me

"Uhhhh.... I don't know..." You answered Ashley, unsure about your answer. "You won't hurt my feelings, no matter what answer..." He said. You didn't want to answer because of C.C. You bit your lip. Butterflies in your stomach came again. You nodded your head, "yeah... but please don't tell anyone, especially C.C." He nodded.

Things were awkward right now. I was so scared right now. Ashley kissed me goodbye and he left. C.C. came home. "So, what happened while I was gone, you look scared babe." C.C. asked, voice filled with concern. You started crying and ran into his arms. "What's wrong, what happened..." He asked, he sounded scared. "Uhhhh nothing, just emotional today..." You replied, lying of course. He hugged you tight, "Come on babe, what's really going on..." He asked, his voice stern. "I don't wanna tell you, it is going to hurt you" you said to him, still crying. He hugged you tighter, "I promise, no matter what happened, I will still love you" he said, his voice soft. You couldn't help but cry into his chest. You didn't want to hurt him. Even though you know you hurt him, you didn't want him to know. You pulled his arm and took him upstairs.

"I am so sorry C.C." You said. "Whats wrong, what happened" he asked for like the second time in the past 10 minutes. "Can we discuss it during dinner?" You asked. You wanted to figure out how to say it. He nodded. He hugged you and kissed you, but the nervous butterflies didn't come around. You were scared.

(2 hours later)

"C.C. dinner is done!" You yelled. He ran downstairs as fast as possible. He sat down, "What's for dinner?" He asked. "Steak!" You said extremely enthusiastic. You sat down next to him and let out a sigh."So, what happened earlier today?" C.C. asked quietly. You let out a sigh, "Promise not to tell anyone, especially Ashley?" You asked him, trying to keep the tears in. He nodded. "Uhmm... so today Ashley came over, he was crying. I asked him why he was upset. The next thing he did was kiss me. Ash said he loves me. And he asked me if I loved him back." You blurted out. C.C. asked, "So what did you say in response?" You took a deep breath, "I said, I love him too..." C.C. looked like his life got shattered. He got tears in his eyes. "So... how long have you loved him..?." He asked, trying not to cry. "I don't even know, it just came to me today." You replied, your voice cracked. "Do you still love me?" He asked and cried. He was probably afraid of what you might say. "Yes." You replied immediately. "Are you cheating on me?" He asked, still crying. "No." You blurted. "And I never will."

You offered a hug and tried to comfort him. He denied it. He ran upstairs to your room. Sounded like he was crying, you felt so bad. You ran downstairs into the living room, you cried. He didn't want to be anywhere near you, and you respected that. You cried until the sun came up tomorrow. You felt awful. C.C. came downstairs. You were still crying. As soon as you saw him, you cried out, "I'm so sorry C.C. I never wanted to hurt you I love you!!" C.C. just sat next to you. He said, "Do you want to get Ashley over here to discuss everything?" He was staring at the ground. He looked emotionless. He didn't look mad, or sad, or anything. You thought about it for a moment. "I guess..." You answered as you pulled out your phone.

All you said to him was, "Come over, now." You didn't want to explain until he got here. He got at your house about 20 minutes later. "What's wrong?" Ashley asked you. He looked behind you. All he did was stare at C.C. who was obviously behind you. He looked angry. Ashley looked scared.

C.C. walked over to Ashley. He looked him dead in the eye and said, "Purdy, you stay the hell away from my girl. I don't want you checking her out, I don't want you hurting her, I don't want you touching her, I don't want you sleeping with her, I don't want you kissing her. You got that clear?" Ashley steps back a little bit and quietly says, "Ok..." You can obviously tell he is scared. "What the hell is that on your arm!?!?!" C.C. yelled, he saw a few cuts... "It's nothing, it was a cat scratch!" Ashley yells out. C.C. walked over to Ashley and pulled up his sleeve. "What is this?!?!?" He asked again. Ashley started to cry. He didn't want anyone to know. "Did you know about this?" C.C. asked and looked at you. You shook your head no, you didn't want to betray Ash. "Why..." C.C. asked calmly. Ash said the most heartwarming thing. He said, "I heard you and YN were going out. It broke my heart completely. She has been the one I loved since the day I laid eyes on her. I didn't stop crying, or drinking, or self harming... I couldn't stop thinking about her." You smiled.

CC let out a sigh. "You must obviously love her more than I do! You guys live happily ever after! YN I know you love him more than you love me, so you guys, be happy together!!! Goodbye YN!" He left. He walked out. It shattered your heart. You started crying, again. This pain was all agonizing. Ash put his arm around you, but you slapped his arm. You ran outside, but he was going to fast for you to tell him anything. You ran back inside, "Ashley, leave, now!" He nodded and left. He began to cry. You went upstairs into your room and there was only one thing you wanted to do...
