"WAKE UP!" I screamed at my friend Kat. "WE HAVE TO LEAVE IN HALF AN HOUR!!" I cant believe she was still sleeping in a day like this. It was the first year we had been to Warped by ourselves. I just turned 16 so i got my license a few months ago and our parents let me drive us three hours to Charlotte, NC. We got a hotel and stayed here last night so i could be sure we were first in line. I've been up all night, no way can i sleep with whats gonna happen today! I had just finished straightening my hair and began doing my makeup when Kat walked into the bathroom. "Good morning" she said through a yawn.
"Hurry up" i said and stuck my tongue out at her. I walked back to the room and got my stuff together. My BVB bag, a water bottle, some sharpies, and of course, my fake ID proving that i was "18". By the time 3am came around i was sitting in a chair tapping my foot impatiently waiting for Kat. She walked out of the bathroom and before she could say anything i grabbed her and pulled her out the door. We drove down to the place and parked. And when we got there we were first in line but soon after more people started showing up. Kat put up a chair and fell asleep, meanwhile all i could do was think about today and how absolutely amazing it was going to be. Before i knee it, the gates were open and we were walking in.
