A soft symphony of a violin floated about the air, the wind carried it through the leaves and brush of the wooded area I sat in. Something about this area was special. Although it was only music playing on my phone, the natural music of nature harmonized perfectly with the strings of Jinxx's violin. The gentle chirp of birds gave the timing and the rustle of the leaves in the trees added texture to the wordless measures. Despite the events that had just taken place, nothing could be more perfect.

My eyes closed as I let the music envelope my mind, letting all anger, irritation, grief, resentment, and rage swiftly leave my body. I rested my back on the trunk of an oak tree as a gentle breeze passed by cooling my body entirely. I pulled the hood on my grey hoodie up and let it settle on the top of my head. I pulled down the sleeves and balled up the ends in my palms before bringing my legs into my chest and wrapped my arms around them. My head started to sway softly in the tempo of the violin; I wish that this moments could last forever, but nothing ever lasted.

A panicked yell interrupted my peace. I opened my eyes, looking about my surroundings. I focused on the voices being thrown about the area.

"Jake, listen." I recognized Jinxx's voice. A moment of silence took hold and quickly passed.

"But where is it coming from?" Jake questioned him. They heard the music. I sighed quietly, slipping my eyes closed again and rested my head on my arms. If they wanted to find me, they could do it themselves. I turned my attention to music once more, feeling composure wash over my body again.

"Annah!" I heard Jake exclaim. I sighed again and waved in his direction, keeping my head down. Their footsteps came closer until I felt them stand in front of me. A hand was laid on my knee which caused me to look up into Jinxx's eyes. He gave me a questioning look, obviously wanting to know why I stormed off, but I gave him a 'We'll talk about it later.' look. I knew if anyone were to understand it would be him.

He offered me his hand as he stood, but I shook my head, standing on my own. I looked over at Jake just as he slid his phone into his pocket. He met my glance, raising his eyebrows slightly and pressed his lips together. "Oh, right. I just texted Andy to let everyone know that we found you." He said, answering my nonverbal question. I nodded in response.

"Come on, lets get back before they get worried." Jinxx stated. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and gave me a reassuring look. I nodded, and walked along side of him as I rested my head on his shoulder. Jake led the way back to the studio as Jinxx and I trailed behind.

"Thank you." I whispered to Jinxx, keeping my vision ahead.

"Don't thank me, Annah. You're a good person in the wrong state of mind. You'll get where you're heading though, only if you push through the storm and don't stop moving forward." He replied giving my shoulder a slight squeeze. "You're a part of our family now, and I promise that we will protect you. Although you might not be Andy's favorite person, he would still stick up for you just like he would Sammi or Ella."

A small smile was brought onto my lips as we walked on the sidewalk, the studio in sight. I wrapped one arm around Jinxx's torso long enough to give him a half hug before I dropped it back to my side. This world might be a somewhat good place to live.

Here's the new chapter! Sorry for the late update, I had to send this to my email and go on the computer to update. I also had to ask a friend of mine if I could quote him on something that he said to me.

Does anyone know what song is playing? If you guess correctly, I'll give you a shoutout. (Sorry, I couldn't think of anything better that I could do over the internet.)
