The next ride was a roller coaster; I got over my fear of roller coasters before I realized I was afraid of them.
I found myself in a small cart gripping the bar at the front of the cart; the lap bar didn’t securely rest against my lap at all. How dangerous can a ride be if it doesn’t need to restrain your upper body?
The view from the top of the ride was level with a sunset that I hadn’t noticed before and the drop back down seemed to hurl me into the darkness of the parking lot pavement below the ride.
Soon the peaks and sometimes dizzying drops of the ride left me unscathed, the problem with roller coasters is that waiting for the ride gives you enough time to calculate how long it lasts. I knew regardless of what I felt it would be over in 90 seconds and overriding the logical part of my brain wasn’t something a chunk of metal on a track was capable of.
I ask myself, why does always something happens to them in the first part and why does CC always wake ups o often in a room on the first Floor?
