Dead on the Inside

Noor POV

"So, who are you most excited to see? I'm a huge Andy fan so of course it's him, I get the feeling you're more of a Jinxx fan, right-"
I turn my glare onto the manic-eyed girl, shifting away from the name 'Andy Sixx' scrawled across the wall.
"There's this amazing thing called being here for the whole band, I doubt you'd understand, am I right?" I snarl at the girl, my glare forming a sarcastic grin.
She frowns and clutches at her heart comically before turning away and continuing the chat with some other girls, their heated stares on my face.
Maria, my best friend since year nine, sighs gently; fluffing her white blonde hair with one hand in desperation.
"Dude..."
"Bruh?" I smirk.
"You could have worded that nicer."
I shrug, "you know I hate all that 'Andy' talk... He is amazing but the band isn't Andy Biersack and co. now, is it?"
Maria laughs, her voice obnoxiously loud, just how I love it. "Ultimate truth right there. But, you could still be a little nicer?"
I roll my eyes before looking up in shock as sudden screams erupt around me. I stand straighter, pleased that my height allows me to look over the heads of those around me.
I smirk again as I spot the familiar face of dear old Andy Biersack, coupled with two security guards.
"WHO?" Maria shouts at me over the shrieks, rolling her eyes when I mouth 'Andy'. She's always been a huge Jinxx fan since hearing his violin work on Wretched and Divine - The Story of the Wild Ones.
I rest and continue to lean on the wall, surprised as I hear the screams seeming to get ever closer. I look up again in surprise and am shocked to see the arm of one of the security guards going across the barrier and Andy walking along the safer side while also signing some merch.
I take a step towards the barrier in curiosity and decide to look.
I lean forwards against the barrier lightly and am shocked to discover my eyes locked with Andy's; the bright blue seeming more purple in the dark lighting and creased as he smiles. I nod politely at him, my smile gentle, before returning to Maria who holds up two fingers in a 'peace' sign. He grins at us before continuing to sign stuff, a more secret smile appearing on his face.
"He seems pretty cool... Maybe I could fangirl over him instead."
I glare at Maria jokily. "You dare do that and I will cut you." She laughs before heading inside as the front doors open.

We stand sweatily by the barriers, the dark red tendrils of my hair appearing black as they drip sweat from the Attila moshpit.
"The supports were insane... I think I'm going to sleep easy tonight."
I grin at Maria before whoop-ing with everyone else as Black Veil Brides' Faithless began, CC having sneaked up onto stage without us noticing.
Slowly the band run out and everything is thrown into action, Jake Pitts quickly working the guitar like a dream, Jinxx harmonising perfectly with his amazing melody, Ashley Purdy singing and playing the bass in perfect coordination, CC bashing out the drums with amazing accuracy and Andy Biersack singing with an even better vocal tone than I'd heard in a while.
I grinned at the stage, admirable of their improvements before jumping with Maria and having an awesome time.

In the End slowly came to an end, the last song of the gig. Maria and I applaud and yelled loudly as the guys came together and bowed, our faces bright and joyous. I grin broader when they acknowledge our efforts, and throw a few picks and a drumstick in our direction; all of which we catch with ease.
"They were pretty cool." I smile at Maria, and she pokes me in the side.
"You already knew that, you've seen them three times already."
I nod, "true. I'm curious... Should we wait by the stage door?"
Her smirk intensifies, "stop trying to act cool and come with me."
