They Don't Need to Understand (Andley Love Story)

Andy's P.O.V.

I did it. I actually did it and didn't back out. I broke up with Juliet, and while it was hard to see her cry, I had to do this. I started packing up my things as she begged me not to go.
"Please, please don't leave Andy, you're my White Rabbit, I'm your Dragonfly."
My heart ached as she used the nickname card, but I continued to pack, "I'm sorry Jules, I can't do this anymore, please stop, you can have the place, I just want my stuff, my cat, and my car."
Her sobs were all I heard as I finished packing. I loaded up my car, put Crow in the front seat and drove away with Femme in the window wondering why crow gets to go for a drive. I get to Ashley's and just sit there for a minute. I pray he lets me in and let's me love him like I should have from the start. I look at his note again, knowing it will give me the courage to get out of my car, and it does.


Ashley's P.O.V.

I'm about to hop in the shower and wash away my pain when there is a knock on the door. My heart skips a beat when I open it and see Andy standing on the other side with Crow in his arms. Why is he here? Why does he have Crow? I go to invite him in, but he beats me to it, dropping Crow and takes one step over the threshold before placing his soft lips on mine. I hesitate for a second while my brain processes, and then I'm kissing him back with all I have because I have no idea if I will ever get to kiss him again. He kicks my door shut and wraps his arms around my waist. My arms go to his neck as our kiss continues. When he finally breaks the kiss we are both gasping for air as we smile.
"I love you Ashley, and I am willing to see where this path leads us." he says
"But what about..." he cuts me off with another kiss
"I broke up with her, I have wanted to be with you ever since you walked through those doors all those years ago. Be mine Ashley Purdy, be my Outlaw. <3
