Show Me How To Live

Work was finally over and we had made it home in one piece. Well two since Jennica and I are two separate beings. once through the doors of the house we shared I sat down at the desk that held both our laptops and opened my email. Jennica had walked into another room.
I was moving some of her art stuff when I heard feet pounding up the stairs. it was odd usually she doesn't go into her room till after dinner. I shrugged and went back to my email finally having enough space to lean on the desk I smiled widely at the first one I got.
"Jennica! Come here really quick!" I heard her footsteps lazily walking down the hall. slow. I groaned "I said quick! hurry the hell up!" I yelled and heard her steps quicken and pound down the stairs.
"what?" Jennica asked flustered her hair pulled back. that was odd
"Richie is coming next week to stay for a while. you think we should be nice and add some like looping gear shit in with the hopeless dreamers or should we just leave it all be?" I asked excited
"do whatever you want I'll be gone by then anyway." she said and walked out of the room
I nodded then froze "what do you mean you won't be here?" I yelled running after her.
Jennica winced at what I said. "I got hired. I'm leaving for tour tomorrow Rainbow. be happy maybe?" she said and I felt my world crashing around me
"What?" I whispered
"its only six months its not that bad." and with those words it ended
"Six months? you couldn't mention it before now and why do you have go you make enough where you are now." I said
"no rainbow you make enough where we are now. I make a third of what you do. with this tour I can make just as much. just be happy and have fun with Richie."
"i hate you."
"I know."
"write me and call me and text me and skype me and I swear to god if I don't hear from you for any day in the next six months I'm killing you." I said settling into the idea.
"wouldn't dream of loosing contact for a moment. but you know if you miss a single text outside of your work schedule I'm guessing you and Richie are "busy"." she winked.
"fuck you." I said laughing "I'm gonna write you song you know.
"counting on it love. then it'll make the top ten and then you'll be thanking me for leaving you." she said smiling. "now come help me pack."
"fine but I'm not gonna be happy about it." I said frowning.
"darling you never happy about anything" Jennica laughed heading up the stairs. "Don't trip."
"fuck off" I said following her upstairs
